The Tarrasque Interest Check

[Illidan Stormrage]

Illidan is planning to lead an expedition to kill the beast that keeps threatening his castle with earthquakes, but he can't do it alone. The Tarrasque is a monstrous leviathan that will require a whole team of Primes to take it down. Would anyone be interested in assisting Illidan with this giant feat? Quest details below:

The Tarrasque


Location – The Moors
Requirements:  At least four party members, additional members do not increase the word requirement
Difficulty – Fabled (60,000-80,000 total words, dependent on writing quality)
Reward – Tarrasque Armament Artefact (Artefact boost 1 stat of the players choice and can be stylized as they desire)

Overview – A year of peace.

Little did we know that a year was all we had before it would rise again.

Up from the Primordial Scar, the Tarrasque has risen, and its bestial hunger knows no limits.  The massive, lumbering hell monster seems to feel no pain.  Nothing can stop it from devouring all in its path, but it was stopped before, right?  Certainly the task can be done once more.  You must assemble a group of primes willing to risk their lives to stop this creature.  Research.  Plan.  Practice.  But know that nothing can prepare you for this monster, which seems to be a walking manifestation of the Pale Moors itself.

Best of luck.  Ready your tombstones before you depart.

As you can see, it is a big, BIG quest. AT LEAST 60,000 words combined. This could potentially take months, so please don't nominate yourself if you can't or won't dedicate yourself for the period of time it will take to complete. 

I'm looking for three to five others (four to six including me) to take it on. Any more than six and I think it might get out of hand. Kerrigan has already put up her hand, so that's one spot out. I'd like the posts to be reasonably consistent, but because of the mountain of words needed, I won't be trying to rush it, maybe a post or two each a week at least? But certainly I'd be happy if people posted more often than that. I also haven't decided when it would kick off, but that can be worked out with those who want to participate.

Please let me know if you'd be keen, and with which character. Again, don't nominate if you don't want to deal with the enormity of the quest.

Depending on the time it happens, I might throw Skeletor in here. It's been on my list of things to do with him so if I can finish DD soon enough that we can start it during the summer then I should be good, but I can't promise the same level of availability once College starts back up.

Consider me a tentative applicant, and no hard feelings if I get bumped.
