Figurative Demon vs. Literal Demon
#1
The Judgment Hall. How deliciously ironic. It wouldn't be long before the human arrived, but the ink demon was ready. While it had been difficult to defeat Sans and Asgore without anyone noticing, Bendy was not like ordinary monsters-- if he was, then surely it would be impossible for him to be in this position. Instead of being made of love and magic, he had been made with ink and hate. It was quite unfortunate for the other monsters that dared to fight him. All he needed was the child's soul, and then he could take the other six, break the Barrier, and be hailed as the King of All Monsters as he wiped those pitiful humans off the face of the earth.

At least, he'd be king of the few monsters that had escaped the wrath of the fallen child. There weren't many, but Alphys had managed to escort some of them to an emergency safehouse underneath the castle. Boy, would she be surprised when the devil came knocking at her door to let her know that both the human and Asgore were dead and that he had broken the Barrier!

Finally, the child came around the bend and entered the warming ray of light that passed through the hall's stained glass windows. As soon as Bendy came into view, however, she stopped. While her face betrayed little emotion, he could've sworn that there was a hint of puzzlement in her eyes. "...You're not Sans," she said, her fingers curled around her knife.

"What made you think Sans would be here?" he asked, mildly confused at her reaction.

"He was here every time I came here."

"But..." Okay, this was getting strange. "This is your first time here."

"That you know of."

"What?"

"This is my first time here that you know of."

Bendy couldn't help but stare at her. What was she talking about? Something told the ink monster that he wasn't going to be figuring out this child anytime soon, though. Silence floated in the air for a few moments before he started speaking again. "I killed him. Sans is dead. Asgore is too."

Now it was the child's turn to be surprised; a look of shock broke her stoic facade for a second, then it was replaced with a smirk. "You killed Sans in one go? I'm impressed."

"You should be."

She looked at the creature, they were not like the others. This one was interesting; this one was new. She grinned from ear to ear at this point, her body's code trying to fix itself. She sighed then began her dialogue "Howdy im Chara, the demon who comes when people call its name." She touched her finger to her knife, spinning it while she talked with a air of power. "It does not matter where, it does not matter when. I will come and I destroy. Have you ever heard of a RESET?"

The demon had the urge to cough from the dust that was floating around everywhere. It seemed every genocide run, it got worse. Even the pacifist runs at this point you could see missing people for some reason; and the dust amounts were slightly better in a pacifist run.

Bendy looked at the child tensely, slightly frowning; why did that word have so much meaning; here? "So . . . Chara? Uhh . . ." This thing's reactions were delicious, them thinking that even with Asgore and Sans being dead, that would stop Frisk's genocide? Chara chuckled now, causing Bendy to grow slightly annoyed. "Ohhh, this is so good." Her eyes flashed red, and she talked innocently like a little girl. "You really think killing smiley trash bag would stop me? I kill Bergentrückung in one hit, so suck on that smiley."

Chara changed her knifes position to one where she could back stab, and cut through flesh and bone. She took out her soul in its shattered form, and spoke bluntly. "Determination, the strongest of the basic soul traits. Now I don't have determination . . . I HAVE HATE." Her soul flooded with black goop, and it even dripped to the floor, causing it to stain the hall. She took one last look at the pristine judgment hall, It was so beautiful; so pure, and yet the humans still stood. She would cause humanity to perish! This thing would not stop her, no one would!

Her eyes started to blaze red with a tint of black mixed in, as she chuckled. "Its a horrible day outside." the dancing demon wondered what this was all about. "Dust is everywhere, monsters still locked up underground, humans are still standing on the surface. And on days like these . . ." Bendy gulped, feeling fear as she slumped over laughing insanely. Eyes burning red, with a tint of black in it; even behind the hair. "Monsters, like you . . ." He waited for a response, the silence could be cut with a knife, no one moved an inch; no one spoke; it is said that no one even had blinked. It was like time had stopped completely. Then the answer came. "SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL, you dirty brother killer!"

The room grew darker and darker, till it was the actual Undertale fight box, with Chara in black and white moving somewhat. Bendy could see a few words in the first text box. "You fear for your existence." Now the true fight has begun!

"Reset?" Bendy asked, taking a deep breath as he waited for Chara's reply.

"Of course!" Chara put a hand to her cheek and grinned. "Only the most determined soul can do it, but boy is it wonderful!" Twirling her knife around, she pointed back at the entrance. "I doubt you can see it, but there's a SAVE point over there. Whenever I die, I can return to the last time I saved."

Somewhat suspicious, the ink monster cocked his head to peer down the hallway. He wasn't entirely sure what the child was trying to show him, but something stuck out as strange to him. "You mean that little glowing star-shape?"

Instead of the little lapses of surprise the kid had betrayed earlier, Chara had been legitimately caught-off guard from the demon's question. "Y-yes," she answered. "But only determined souls can see it... monsters don't have the ability hold that much determination without the magic holding their body together deteriorating."

Bendy couldn't help but grin at the fact that he had a brief hold on the situation. Anything that would keep this maniacal child disoriented was good. "I'm not made of magic."

"Then what are you made out of?"

To answer, he briefly revealed his soul. It was upside down, much like other monster souls, but the heart was pitch-black and dripping. "It's hate. Just. Like. Your's."

Chara didn't reply. Instead, she rushed at him with her knife reared back for a stab. The inky devil stood his ground, his body starting to undulate in preparation. When the child finally closed the difference and swung, she found that her foe suddenly had a hole in his chest. His head appeared behind her, allowed a fair bit of movement due to the fact that it wasn't actually connected to anything.

"Your soul will do quite nicely," he jeered, wrapping his arms around her and piledriving her into the ground. Once her head connected with the ground, he spun her around and sent her flying towards the short end of the hallway. She landed on the floor and skidded along for a few feet before stopping.

"What makes you think you can harness the soul of someone who can reset?" She asked, suddenly disappearing. That's right, if she died she could just start over! He needed to get control of her powers before she had a chance to do so, but he could just cross that bridge when he came upon it.

"I'll find a--" Bendy's sentence was cut off from the blade slashing through his abdomen from behind him. Great, so the kid could teleport. While some of the ink had been swept out alongside the steel dagger, most of it settled back into place, leaving the demon slightly more transparent, but otherwise okay. "You'll have to try a little harder than that," he said, his head spinning around to face behind him as he launched a fist out to attack her.

As Chara spun her real knife around she got a face full of ink; and was sent flying across cracking and bouncing a few times on the floor before sliding for a few more feet. She got up and smiled teleporting randomly, and getting closer before being above of bendy. She threw her knife into the air causing it to fly up. She created a long knife in one hand and swing with a bit of force; causing bendy to move his body back from the swing. She smiled and said with a tone of clarity, and bluntness. "We dance the dance of blade and death, you and I. You have to understand how it feels, to be the one who is considered the villain. Even though you did nothing wrong, than what you are taught."

She jumped back after dissipating her long knife. and catching her real knife. She touched her feet and hands to the ground to slow down the momentum. Bendy could be seen humming something as he turns into a liquid and jumps from one puddle to another. She saw spears of liquid ink try to impale her but she for the most part dodged. She jumped away while creating slashes at the puddle of ink; and fired away hoping to get some distance away from that thing.

"I am but a fragment of true human nature, you can't beat the human race. They specifically made souls that would make shure that humans and monsters don't live in harmony." Bendy grabbed Chara by the arms and laughed. "You really don't think I don't know that? I was created by humans for "entertainment" I'm Bendy the dancing demon!

Chara paled at this figurative demon, and with some effort threw Bendy away. She followed the throw, with about five slashes aimed at the celling where the demon was flung at. She could see the dust rain down from the magic blasts, and saw bendy smile as he changed his body shape to a missile and fired at Chara directly. Chara was flabbergasted at Bendy's durability, and started to move. "HOLY SHIT!"

She heard a splash and turned to see a blot of black ink was where she used to be. She looked around slowly to see where the figurative demon was and felt something stab through her. She looked down and saw two black spears stab through her. Luckily they didn't hit her soul but they hurt like hell. She collapsed to the floor once the spears released her soul. She smiled and laughed as she painfully looked at Bendy. "I may have fallen but everytime we dance, you get a little more predictable, I get a little faster, a little bit better." She to his surprise gets up with little trouble, but one thing was different; she had half of her body jet black with both her eyes blood red. "I am part of the nexus, or one of my other forms is. But I am hate incarnate!"

Her wounds heal up and six other people, though faint stand with Chara. Chara glitched her face into one of a hunter and bluntly told Bendy. "Time to erase this world and move on to the next!" Bendy back peddled away from Chara, before winding up a punch and throwing it at her. Chara raised up her knife and yawned as a green shield blocked the punch.

Chara smiled as she rushed Bendy, after lowering the shield. She unleashed a flurry of stabs and slashes at bendy. Each slash though not powerful in there own right racked up. Bendy moved his head up out of Chara's reach as she moved to stab the steel knife into the skull of the dancing demon. The body threw her into a wall, causing her to bounce back multible times. Bendy winded up one final punch and caused Chara to create a indent in the stone wall, cracking it. Chara fell down, fairly dazed but for the most part fine. "bergentrückung" She laughed and jeered. "This the best you can do? even Undyne the undying was harder than this!"

"And then what?" Bendy asked, dodging as Chara swung again. "What will you do when you destroy everything?"

"I'll move on to the next world, simple as that." With a quick teleport, she rushed at Bendy's back and stabbed. However, the devil had been expecting the attack, so he launched a fist at her. Hopping back the child wound up and rushed at him again. Caught off-guard by the daring move, the ink monster was knocked back, allowing her to combo him into another wall.

He collapsed to the ground, struggling to rise as his body was starting to lose its form. The hole in his chest was taking longer to reform. No. There was no way he was going to let this kid kill him-- not when he was this close! With a shuddering breath, he rose to his feet and stared down the hall at the megalomanic. She was staring back with unadulterated pleasure with a smile that almost too wide for her face.

She was enjoying his pain.

Bendy needed to stall the kid until he recovered. "And what will you do when that world's gone?"

"I'll move on to another one."

"I'm assuming that once that world's dead, you'll just go to the next one?"

"What are you trying to tell me?"

"I'm just saying that destroying all the worlds isn't going to leave you in a good position for future goals. I plan for the future. Once I get your soul, I'll lead this broken kingdom to the golden era and wipe those pitiful humans out!"

Chara just stood there, contemplating the plan. She almost seemed baffled by the realization that her goals wouldn't mean anything in the end, but her grin returned. "You can't do that if you can't get my soul-"

"And I can't get your soul as long as you can reset." Bendy suddenly realized that he had been standing next to the SAVE point. Without budging from his spot, he extended an arm and pulled the star to his side. He glanced back at Chara with a smirk. "Let's change that!"

"Wait--"

The demon raised the star high in the air.

"DON'T YOU DARE--"

He shattered the SAVE point against the floor, sending sparkling pieces into the air. His determination grew from the fact that he was now on even ground, allowing his body to solidify.

"NO!" Chara screeched inhumanly. She was about to threaten the ink demon, but he had already reached her, knocked her around, and was now forcing himself into every orifice he could find in Chara's body as he turned into a puddle.
