I need to update this thread - http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=164
It's at least an entire year behind, if not close to 18 months.
I got some things I know I need to add, like Volvagia, Heroes' Graveyard, Nippur, Syntech stuff, but I'm going to fish out to the greater populace because I know I can't figure out everything.
The Timeline's for events that resonate across the Omniverse. Your prime joining a faction wouldn't count. I'm fishing for the equivalent of big news headlines, whether they involve your prime, your friends, or your faction. Let me know so I can add them, and don't be offended if I leave out something you shared.
Once I update the Timeline, I'm going to fuse the artefact list into that thread, because consolidation is visually pleasing.
(Thanks to everyone)

The big ol' Nexus fight is probably a good one.
Ain't really kept up enough for anything else to come to mind.
PvP Flag: GREEN
I won't mind if you attack my character or base with little to no warning!

I think you've got most of them, Harbinger was a big deal being the first 4-person fusion (although that might be what Usopp was saying already... I just wasn't sure which big nexus fight he meant.)

You've pretty much nailed it. Maybe the Malefactor's resurgence and subsequent quelling could count?

Five things? That'd be the most boring history book I've ever read... and I read some boring books because I had to for fun.
I'll post updates as I add them.
My idea was to do this verse-by-verse while at the same time 'updating' the verses. I did the Endless Dunes earlier today, so I added the following events to the Timeline. For those interested, I'll even provide some of my logic/reasoning, if only perhaps to motivate people to go read fun old stories. I included months for the new stuff I added, and I think I'll probably change that from months to, like, seasons, so it's less labeling.
---
Added reference to the TwNN being attacked by the Bandit with No Name and being defended by Sinestro. Reason - Sinestro was/is a prime with Recognition and a Deputy of the TwNN. Furthermore, Bandit (an NPC) went on to become a note-worthy prime of her own. This thread was also sort of an IC creation of LAW (sans Ganondorf) and thus an important turning point in that chapter of the Dunes' history.
Legacy and War/The Battle of Nippur. Reason - Full-scale factional warfare, banishings, power vacuums. In many ways, I think this is one of the most important things to happen on the website for a few reasons. Incident has a lot of infamy/fame because of the precedent(s) it set and the fallout, as none of the leadership on either side was every really active after this, with a few temporary exceptions. I also included a link to the thread that predated L&W, which involved Demetri and Donnel attacking Nippur, leading to the latter being banished. Unless I'm having a brain fart, he was the first person to be banished following a PvP situation (and the second overall, after Violet in DA).
I made mention of the Gold Cross. Reason - it's a repeatable quest.
Added references to Amber Veritz and Neptune acquiring artefacts for completion of the In Chaos Renewed quest. Reason - b/c artefacts are important and high-profile, even if they're just Chaos Emeralds which I'm sure serve some other purpose, obviously duh.

DA 2016 I mean it was pretty important, or the assault on Darkshire will be a big thing to add what ever happens.

Shuffled previously existing historical notes into months and added hyperlinks to threads. Everything from 2015 on should have thread links. Read. You won't be sad, it's a lot of good stuff for the most part.
Added Pale Moors Historical Notes for modern years (15-17)
-> Shang Tsung and Atelos reaching the void gate and Omni. Reason - First Void Gate quest. First IC meeting with Omni. History.
-> Added the 'changing of the guard' in Darkshire. Reason - political changes/Recognition prime
-> Added a shout-out to Tom Riddle and Hogwarts. Reason - Institute, although inert/dead, was a recognized faction and its members wouldn't be nobodies.
-> Added the end of the Tarrasque's nap. Reason - Tarrasque. Still the most daunting quest on the Omniverse. Fear me.
-> Added Goku getting the Star Piece. Reason - First one. Also, it's a high profile artefact quest! Even though I don't know wtf to do with it if this person is forever-gone
-> Added a shout-out to Illidan's efforts in the Pale Moors. Reason - impacts current events, c'mon, that's easy. Plus it's a good thread.
-> Added a placeholder for future shenanigans in and around Darkshire. Reason - it's a city getting besieged. the production values alone will be wonderful
Next up will probably be the 'Wild Verses', the Steppes and the Fields.

I got the Steppes pretty all right, since most of my writing post-DA was there as Seventeen.
While I'm sleeping - do we have any characters who did anything worthwhile or noteworthy in the Fields? Any who may have worked closely with Bruenor or Zuljin? Star and the Void (I think?, maybe?) are still out there, and I know we don't have any Recognition ppl from there.

Last year I helped an NPC named Ayla Kita fix a machine that can make the Endless Dunes livable again. Though it's a slow machine, and still needs work. I do think that would be noteworthy for the dunes though.

dont know if its noteworthy, But there was a bandit incursion In the Steppes that Miranda/zack/Colonel/Drake(nealaph npc)/ and im not quite sure which others helped get "Rid" of. It was during this time I had to move and Zack took over. The group ended up nabbing the wrong bandits, while the others used this to disband.
Noteable things about the Bandits:
-Raided various mining settlements and villages across the Ashen.
-Stole a certain "artifact" from Bowser's Treasury. Its assumed one of them still has it, though they never really got a chance to use it (might come back to this later)
-A member, November Frost, wiped out the population of a northern fortress village. Only a few managed to escape and put out a bounty, but many are starting to doubt his very existance as he hasn't popped back up

Hmmm, well, there was a huge battle between Berry Blitzkrieg and Ambrosia that occured in the Nexus way back in December 2015, it had quite a few big players there so it might have gotten some recognition. Here's that topic: http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?...Pirate+Man
Avengers Tower was founded, I don't know if we list the creation of bases anymore.

If we're looking at things by verse, Hiro, The Sage and Sabrina kind of made a mess in Cinnabar Island. There's a lot of ties to the Empire from the situation, so I imagine their diplomatic relations have kinda soured.

For the Frozen Fields
http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=4697 -- Buncha primes/secondaries find an eldritch horror living in one of the mountains. They manage to not only kill it, but free a majority of its prisoners, including an Articuno and a large number of trolls and dwarves.
http://omniverse-rpg.com/showthread.php?tid=7099 -- The Ashen Blades clash with the Society of Supervillains and end up collecting the bounty on Ballad, a wanted criminal.

For the Frozen Fields, Amber Veritz established Fort AMBR near the Nexus gate, which is a trading post in addition to being her base.

Additions:
Frozen Fields:
~added the battle between the Blades and the Villains. Reason - Large-scale faction warfare (even if one went on to fold later) is always something to highlight. Also, Ballad was a dirty mean criminal with a bounty.
Ashen Steppes:
~added Battle of Death Mountain. Reason - should be fairly obvious
~added Nealaphh's vanishing (self-banishing). Reason - Prime with Recognition. Faction with Recognition.
~added Seventeen getting a star piece. Reason - completion of high profile artefact quest.

Will keep this in my head moving forward, but I'm pretty happy with the current version, which I believe includes a lot of great stuff.
Added in chronological order... (I'm sure I'll miss something, since it's been a few hours mulling through these forums)
->Escape from Coruscant. Reason - Big moment in OV history. Samus was one of the first PC primes to openly give the Empire the finger. Also, this thread was an early exemplary thread.
->Cinnabon Island Arc. Reason - For those of you who might not remember or know him, Luffy was a cherished staffer who fell on hard times. This thread is his magnum opus. Might not seem grandiose in the Bayeux Tapestry of Omniverse history, but the Luffy character did become a DA finalist.
->Revelations. Reason - Magus (a prime with Recognition, if you weren't aware) topped Samus when he went on his own 'fuck you spree' against the mages of Dalaran/the Kingdom.
->Hello Stranga': Malefactor. Reason - The first artefact quest to be completed. The artefact went on to obtain some IC infamy. It's original owner? He went on to obtain some OOC infamy <_<
->Guu'd vs Evil. Reason - Early faction squabbles. One of the earliest instances of 'non pre-determined PvP' that help set up Ambrosia and Nippur as 'hey, I guess these two groups and their leaders mean business.
->Immortal. Reason - Remember that Magus guy? He gets his. First instance of 2v1 PvP and also a bounty being collected.
->The Elfbone Extraction. Reason - Oh, a high profile event with a bunch of primes fresh out of Dante's Abyss that involved a big 3-on-3 fight and led into future carnage. A must. Plus, Okor and Tart lookin' so young.
->Rest and Recovery. Reason - the debut of the Storyteller. Things were never the same in Coruscant or the Omniverse again.
->Secondary Saga. Reason - Surely you've heard someone mention this in passing? A big deal. A grand saga with non-traditional characters that ended with a handful of them reaching Omni and getting immortality.
->Into Dante's Inferno. Reason - Doomguy, finalist in Dante's Abyss and general ass-kicker, is a terrifying felon. I picked one of his horrible murder tirades. Someone go bring this guy to justice, plz. For the children.
->A New City. Reason - Oh, young primes. Also, Judge Dredd shows up and reminds the Omniverse that he is still the Law.
->Acculturation. Reason - the Storyteller was worked overtime for a few months. This time, ultra marines.
->Uncharted. Reason - Did you know Caira completed a Void quest and met Omni? Now you do.
->The Colosseum Tournament. Reason - So much blood. So much PvP.
->Sackboy's Arrest. Reason - Primes. Never. Learn.
->The Heroes Graveyard. Reason - Random weapons, collars, and a grid map are all you need to create a whole lot of drama and violence.
->Waiting for Pirate Man. Reason - Ambrosia attracts a lot of interesting characters and even more... interesting opposition. There's also the amusing irony that this takes place just about alongside the following event
->The Nexus Battle Royal. Reason - Three artefacts. Four-man fusion. Like 8 people die. The OV equivalent of a nuclear arms race.
->Stars over Dalaran. Reason - Technically it's one way to do the Camelot star piece quest (there is another way). Here's to wondering if that Coruscant one will get done?
->Malefactor Redux. Reason - Malefactor/orgosynth is an artefact soaked in the blood of many primes. It finds a nice home here. Let's hope it doesn't sit on a shelf for too long.
->DA16. Reason - "A summer Syntech story about survival, scares, and, of course, friendship." Smooches.
->Retribution 9001. Reason - Trixie escaped from the Underverse. It just took me and half a dozen other people a year of poking and bothering the shit out of him, but we he did it! (<3)
->Avengers Tower. Reason - Because these guys might stick around and actually do some stuff. We shall see.
->Beginning of the End. Reason - along with the Malefactor, the chidori blade/weebsword is a wonderful piece of Omniverse lore and history. After being at the Nexus Battle Royal and then the Battle of Death Mountain, it finds itself once again at the scene of bloodshed. Now it's with an active owner once more. Lets see how that works out.
->Bounty Fight (Hiro/Sage). Reason - bounty fights don't always work out well for the aggressor.
~~~~
I'll keep reviewing stuff as I get reminded/notified/see stuff myself that I think belongs in what I think is now a sufficiently hearty log of Omniverse history. I hope you guys enjoy this and find some use for it. Lots of history there. Lots of fun threads to read (I got a few threads bookmarked so I can enjoy them a second time).
