There's been a lot of groundwork being laid for new factions. I see it when I lurk in the cbox or am bombarded by it elsewhere.
I just want to make two reminders to save us some time down the road.
1.) Make sure when you get a Base that you have a public list of who has access. This can be in the form of your Official faction thread or someplace else. Just make sure you can reference that in the event of an incident. Doubly important when you get a Vault to also list Vault-access
2.) When you get a Recall Station, make sure you keep a list of who is 'keyed in' to your base. Using a Recall Station requires a Communicator and actually going to the Base in-character. You can't just magically teleport back to a place you've never been. Doing so won't be cool.
3.) This one's optional, but make sure you make a faction page! If you go up above, you'll see the 'Faction Mega Thread' that'll link you to a bunch of examples. Make sure you have your own (unless you don't plan to be legit, certified G's) and that you link it using the FMT. Who knows, maybe someday you'll wind up on the Official List?
