Currently sitting in an empty area of the Endless Dunes Hal was sitting cross legged on the ground. For the past two hours he'd been attempting to make well any constructs with his gauntlet that could be used by him in combat. So far he'd learned that he only had two that could be made. Why was his power so limited here? Was it that smiling individual who had stolen most of his power? If it was, Hal resolved that he was going to learn how to master Krona's Gauntlet and become what he needed to be. It was time he got some practice. Plasma Burst seemed the easiest of his constructs and so Hal started to think on what he needed to do in order to make the power of the move a reality.
"Alakazam. Materialize. Come Forth..."
Nothing happened though. For when Omni had taken away the other abilities Hal had forgotten how to make constructs entirely. Now he'd have to re-learn how to do them in the Omniverse.

"It seems that I'll need a lot more practice. For some reason the smiling individual has stripped my gauntlet of a lot of it's powers. But why would he do such a thing presently?" asked Hal. Hal scowled as he looked around. Whatever had stripped him of his powers was something Hal needed to figure out so he could regain the powers. If anything was truly possible with this Omnilium Hal was going to learn how to use the power in order to truly make it his own so that he could create the constructs he could do in the past. Of course learning how to use the Gauntlet was another story entirely as it was something he was unfamiliar with. While it was true it was the Predecessor to a Green Lantern Ring Hal had never had any experience with it and Omni had done something to him... he couldn't remember how he'd made the ring make constructs. This meant he couldn't make constructs using the gauntlet presently.
"Okay. So I'm stranded in an alien universe. Communication with the Guardians is jammed, and I can't create constructs for some odd reason. It seems I'll need to find some way to learn how to make constructs once more. What I need is a mentor... someone to teach me."

Okay. So he was stuck in a world that he didn't understand. This alone would be no problem if Hal could reach out to any of the Green Lanterns or any members of well any corps who were around. Hell he'd even take the help of Sinestro or Atrocitus at this point if it meant he could find his way... home. Oh wait, he couldn't go home. This Omni individual had basically said that he was stuck here as long as he continued to amuse him. Hal was NOT amused with the Omni individual he knew that much. The individual had torn him from his home for nothing more than a SICK joke. What kind of individual stole someone from where they belonged and brought them to somewhere they didn't know existed. Knowing that he didn't know hi way around here Hal remembered something. The information the creature known as "Omni" had given him stated that anything was possible as long as one possessed the desire for it. "Alright. Now I'm certain. I need someone to guide me. But who?" Kilowog was out as he didn't want to summon another Green Lantern when his universe would need him more. The Guardians were all out. The Third Army Stunt had irritated him and made him more than a little unwilling to rely on the Guardians. But who did this leave? Who could possibly provie him the help he needed? As he trekked across the desert Hal had no clue what he was going to do next.

So essentially Hal was stranded somewhere that was very far from his home. There were no other Lanterns here that he could detect presently. Without Green Lanterns to back him up, Hal was on his own. The very thought was sobering because Hal Jordan now realized something. There were no allies that he could call upon this time. It was going to be a solo act from here on out and honestly he worked better with a team to back him up. The Green Lanterns had been a perfect fit for him but now that he no longer wore one of their rings due to whatever Omni did he was not sure if he qualified as a Green Lantern anymore. Sure he might possess a similar power set but the Gauntlet hadn’t been used by that many Green Lanterns. It was a more primitive version of the Power Rings they now wielded. “So the Green Lantern Corps is nowhere to be found and I cannot reach them. In addition I can’t contact Oa or the Justice League or well anyone from my universe. It seems none of them are around. I am also wielding a more primitive version of the Green Lantern Power Ring. The communication function seems disabled for some odd reason, I'll need to resolve that presently.” Hal paused for a moment. What he really needed was a way to get around in this world... some sort of method of transportation. The more he thought about needing a ride, a Green Aura surrounded Hal's body as he lifted into the air. It seemed he'd still maintained the ability of flight which to be honest would be quite useful for him. Still it would not be fast... he'd need to work on enhancing his speed somehow down the line eventually. But how could he even begin to go about that?

"Screw it. I'm going somewhere else. All this sand and heat cannot begin to be good for me... given I don't even know how to make my new device work like it should." Hal concentrated. Around his feet a green aura started to form until it wrapped around his body and formed a set of jet boots. Man the gauntlet may not be exactly like a Green Lantern Ring but it did have some advantages. For starters he hadn't once had to say an oath of any kind in order to make the Power Gauntlet recharge. It simply didn't require such a thing.
This was one advantage it held over a Green Lantern Ring. Well that and the lack of a need to recharge at all. Hal supposed it was the Omnilium that altered the gauntlet to fit him that may have removed the primary weakness it had, it's need to recharge. Frowning as he looked around the place once more Hal was assaulted by the acrid and dry air of the desert. There was nothing but the color tan for miles around.
Truth be told he was beginning to dislike the Omniverse. Coruscant had seemed like it needed more than he could give. But this world was going to need some major terraforming in order to even be habitable. Why Omni had even made this particular Verse exist, Hal had no clue. But he assumed ti was a lawless place. Given he didn't want to run into trouble Hal activated the jet boots and took off back towards the Gate. Once he got there in about 4 hours tops, Hal went through the gate back to the Nexus.
