The Pheonix Rise Again

"Where the hell am I?" said Kung Fury which he fell into complete darkness when he was on his daily routine police duties back in 1985 Miami.

“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”

Kung Fury starts looking around the place then notices the white figure looking person who is speaking to him. This gave Kung Fury a vibe that this figure who is speaking to him might be some kind of God like entity. Is this some kind of sick game? thought Kung Fury what Omni explain to him why he was brought in this so called Omniverse. Omni then hands a glimmering orb to Kung Fury that the colors of the object is rainbow coalesce.

“This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most."

 
The Kung Fu like cop examines the orb and thinks of the possibilities what this mysterious like item can grant him. He stuffs the orb inside his leather jacket and listens more to what Omni has to say to him about the Omniverse.

“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. "

Death was a familiar feeling to Kung Fury as he experienced it before but Hackerman saved him by hacking him back to life. So, I'm not alone in this strange universe. thought Kung Fury on the subject of others like him that were brought here where he is standing. He is still confused why would Omnilium be valuable. Was it the source that gave him his Kung Fu powers before?

“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”

Omni disappears from the domain and left Kung Fury standing there then he was transported to the iconic fountain of the Nexus. Fuck, how am I going get out of this mess. I need to go back to Miami and do my duty or the streets will be filled with anarchy. thought Kung Fury leaning his back on the fountain having his right hand on his chin in a thinking position what he needs to do next. Am I trapped here? Is there no other place to go? questioned Kung Fury in his thoughts thinking what just happened to him.

Dammit, I need to do something besides standing here. I could find some answers if I go somewhere besides staying at this fountain. thought Kung Fury then stands up straight and walks away from the fountain. The whiteness that the Nexus was surrounded in was kinda annoying to Kung Fury because he couldn't tell if he was making progress while traveling or not. He looks back of him and can see the fountain becoming shorter as he is walking. It's going to be a long walk to find answers if I don't have any wheels thought Kung Fury while he was walking. He reaches into his jacket and takes out the Omnilium then examines it even more. That Omni guy did say that if I desire something it can come true. thought Kung Fury then closing his eyes to think of something. He starts thinking of his old ride he had in Miami which was a red Lamborghini Countach. The interior he loved being comfortable. Handling was smooth for driving it. When the windows were down when he driving fast he can remember the wind blowing his hair.

Kung Fury opened his eyes looking down with the Omnilium in  his hands. He looked up and saw his Lamborghini sitting there that looked familiar to him. This surprised Kung Fury even he had to wipe his eyes if he was just seeing things. The car was slick clean and gleaming as it just came straight out of his home place.

 He goes up to the car on the driver side and pulls the handle of the scissor door causing it to open up. Kung Fury climbs in the car and sits in the driver seat. The keys were in his pocket and gets them out to start the car. When he starts the car, it turned on and the engine was perfectly fine. He grabs the clutch and puts in drive then speeds off further in the Nexus to see if he can find answers or at least get out of the place.

"This is a pretty boring drive if I can't have something to jam to." said Kung Fury wondering if he has something in the car to put in the cassette player. Searching around his dashboard, he finds a cassette tape and puts it in the player waiting for it to starting playing it. The tape starts playing and the song came on was Out of Touch by Hall and Oats. "Eh, this alright to listen to if I want to relax for a bit." said Kung Fury focusing back on his driving. The car accelerated faster as Kung fury presses his foot on the gas so he can find someone or something fast as he can to find answers.

"This is Alpha team, we are heading back to the gateway from the routine patrol." said a squad leader of the Empire on the com to the commander. "ten-four Alpha." said the commander at the gateway of the Empire's capital with a platoon of storm troopers that were on guard. The storm trooper commander's armor wasn't that much different from the others beside notifying his rank wearing a red pauldron on his right shoulder. Guarding the gateway for the Empire can be boring or can be sometimes dangerous due to the Kingdom and other hostile Primes that run into them. Bravo squad arrives at the gateway from patrolling and the commander turns to their arrival. "Any luck today boys?" said the commander to the squad that arrived. "It's been dead out there today. We haven't came across any primes or enemies to the Empire." replied the squad leader looking back at his team behind him. "Affirmative, we will let you and your squad through." said the Commander moving out of their way to the gateway. The squad goes through the gateway back to their base in the capital. 

Twenty minutes later, the commander sees something in the distance far and it look to be a red object but couldn't tell what it is but the thing was moving towards their way. "Look alive men! We got something coming our way. Be ready if this someone or something is hostile towards us." said the Commander loudly at the troopers guarding the gateway. In the car, Kung Fury has his wayfarer sunglasses on driving fast through the Nexus. Finally, Kung fury sees something else besides that fountain and it looks like a big metal gateway but couldn't tell who the people look like from how far he is from the gateway. From the stormtroopers view, they see the car growing bigger as it gets closer to them. They can hear the car's sport engine loud as Kung Fury is going fast. Kung Fury can see what the men looked like which they were wearing some kind of white armor with helmets consuming their whole head and looked a bit advance from his time. They were also armed with guns but to Kung Fury, it doesn't look like a firearm he sees some thugs/gangsters carrying in the streets in Miami. These guys look serious. Better to approach them with caution and not cause a bad day. thought Kung Fury and starts slowing down as he approaches the gateway. The platoon of stormtroopers sees the car slowing towards them and the gateway.

They stand there ready for anything the unusual to happen. The commander stands before his platoon and the gateway in front of the car. Kung Fury turns off the car and gets out of it looking at the futuristic soldier that was standing before him. "Prime, how long have you been in the Omniverse." said the commander noticing how the car and his clothes does giveaway how a prime would look like. "Prime? Also I only been here I think 2 hours." said Kung Fury curious of what he just called him. "So you are a new one, well a prime is a being who is brought by Omni and they normally end up here." said the Commander kinda bringing him ease that this prime doesn't sound threatening to him and also a new prime. "Can you point me the way to get out of this or tell me if there is a way to get back in 1985?" questioned Kung Fury hoping the person he is speaking to which  sounds like he has been in the Omniverse for a while. "Well the bad news for you is that you can't go back where you come from." said the commander shaking his head when he replied. "Dammit, well do you know how to get out of here?" questioned Kung Fury kinda frustrated that he is stuck in the Omniverse.

"Standing before you this big gateway is our Empire's capital Coruscant. Once you step through this gateway Prime, you should look into signing up for the Empire Peace Division. I can tell you must been in the police force because of your badge you are wearing." said the commander to Kung Fury. "I'm a cop from 1985 Miami. I wouldn't mind checking the Justice program you guys offer." said Kung Fury intrigued in signing up plus this looks the only way he can get out now since it might take long to find another gateway. "You will find yourself useful to the Empire since Coruscant holds endless criminal activity in the lower tiers." said the commander lightning up for the prime since he wasn't really threatening. "Looks like you guys need a damn good cop" said Kung Fury walking up in front of the commander. "Very well then, we are glad we have you on board then." said the commander giving the signal to his platoon to lower their rifles then slinging his behind him. The troopers cleared the way for Kung Fury to let him pass through the gateway. Kung Fury nods back at them and says "Thanks for the help." then steps in the gateway transporting to Coruscant.
