Questions about Rapture.

I'm still a little fuzzy on the finer details about Rapture (the city in the Vastly Deep)

Is this the broken down, abandoned by everyone except the creepy slicers Rapture? Or is it before everything went to shit? I'm going to be sending Revan there soon and I want to really know what I'm getting into. Are there Big Daddy';s and Big Sisters (with their little sister companions) or are they just not a thing here?

I do know that Big Daddies are a thing, as with little sisters, but other than that, I have no clue.

It's pre-collapse. You got some splicers. You got Big Sisters and Big Daddies. But shit hasn't like, reached that point where it's ceased to function as a society.
