The frigid mountain air roared in Mei's ears as she scaled the cliff face. Heaving herself to the nearest rocky spur, her limbs wanting to rest, she leaned back and glanced down at where she had just been. Fog blocked her sight about 20 feet down, but the Overwatch member was aware of the thousands of feet she had climbed in the last few days. Despite what it sounds like, being a climatologist was actually pretty dangerous when you're dealing with these kinds of environments.
Snowball, Mei's field research drone, popped out of its charging station in Mei's cyrochamber and hovered in front of her, releasing a little stream of cold underneath it as it hovered in the air. "You mind looking for wildlife around this area?" she asked, taking off her glasses and wiping the snow off of it with her parka. The drone chirped in response and floated out of sight, leaving the climatologist alone.
Mei had been going over her rations, concluding that this was the last she could afford to spend up here, when Snowball returned. She reached up to pet her assistant on the head. "Did you find anything?"
The drone blipped and hovered away a few feet, waiting for Mei to follow. Hoisting her backpack back on, she gave chase, taking care not to trip on anything.
When she arrived at the destination, the Overwatch member could see a large mountain goat with a white coat and gnarled horns gnawing on a patch of limp grass near a ledge. This was the first living thing Mei had seen all day, aside from a few birds flying far out of reach. There was no way she would pass an opportunity to examine such a specimen like that! Digging into the pockets of her parka, she pulled out a pad and pen. Slowly, she crept closer towards the animal.
Unfortunately, this part of the mountain wasn't designed with the weight of a human and a goat in mind. The moment her foot landed on the outcropping, a crumbling noise ensued. Terrified and bleating, the beast leaped away and out of sight. Before Mei could follow it, the rest of the ledge gave in and broke off from the mountain.
The ledge fell faster and faster until it faded into the fog, leaving the climatologist to fall to her death by herself. The wind was roaring in her ears again, and cold air whipped against her skin. Adjusting her body into a spread-eagle position, she wavered away from the mountain; at this speed, landing on the mountain would impale her. The snow at the bottom of the mountain would be her best shot at surviving.
Wailing and bleeping, Snowball came into view. Mei reached up, grabbed the drone, and embraced it in a hug. The LED liquid crystal display indicated that the robot was on the verge of panic, its eyes looking in every direction. If it had tear ducts, it probably would've been crying at this point.
"It's okay," she whispered, her voice lost in the turbulence. Shutting her eyes tight, she prepared for the inevitable impact.
Except it never came.
Her eyes opened again, only to be greeted with a void of black. ...Was she dead? Snowball floated by, seemingly just as confused. Eventually, another form appeared-- a white silhouette of a man. Could you call something that was perfectly white a "silhouette," though? Maybe it was a "silhowhite"? Despite lacking a mouth, the figure began to speak.
Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
So she wasn't dead? Unless the Omniverse was the name of the afterlife, which she doubted.
Quote:Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
Mei wasn't quite sure what to make of this-- she could make anything from this "Omnilium"? If that were the case, then she knew the first thing she'd make with it.
Quote:“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn. “That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
And she could be reborn? Did the laws of the universe even apply here? And other people were here too!
Before she could question Omni about this, the black faded into white, leaving the Overwatch member beside one one of those golden statue fountains she saw at Numbani. She had to admit, they had impressive architecture.
Snowball chirped in a panicked tone, to which Mei replied "I'll just use the Omnilium to make us a portal back home!" However, when she actually attempted to do so, she realized that it would take much more Omnilium than she had right now. She turned to the drone with a pale look on her face, and Snowball finally lost it, flying away and wailing like a police car.
"H-hey!" she cried out, running after the droid. "We shouldn't panic!"
Snowball collided with another person, and with a gasp, Mei rushed over and helped them up. "Sorry! I'm Mei. Uh, are you okay?"

Kung Fury comes through the gateway of Coruscant still having that funny feeling when he travels through those portals. I'm never going to get used to that am I? thought Kung Fury having his right hand on his head as if he has a headache. The cop sees the platoon of stormtroopers surronding the gateway then the commander notifies Kung Fury. "Look alive troopers! Kung Fury is here." ordered the commander and some troopers actually stopped what they were doing and saluted the prime when he walked by. "What are you doing here Kung Fury?" questioned the commander as Kung Fury walks up to him. "I'm off duty for today. Thought I would try to at least know much more about this Omniverse I was thrown into about a week ago." said Kung Fury having his arms crossed. "Ok but remember be careful, there are still many enemies out there to the Empire even primes just like you." said the commander for Kung Fury's safety. "Don't worry, I'm not afraid of nothing. I won't stick around too long in the Nexus if I can't find anything." said Kung Fury reaching in one of his pockets for his omnilium. "Roger that, Kung Fury. You have a good day then" said the commander then looks back at his troops and starts ordering for stuff to be done. Kung Fury summons his red Lamborghini Countach for travel in the Nexus since he does know that walking can take forever. The cop gets in his sports car putting on his black Wayfarer sunglasses then drives off into the whiteness of the Nexus.
After almost an hour of driving, Kung Fury reaches to the fountain when not to long ago was his first steps he took in the Omniverse. He parks his car not far away from the fountain and gets out with his shades still on. The cop leans on the hood of his car and waits if he will maybe meet a new prime that just got brought into the Omniverse. This process took very long and wasn't looking promising to see someone eventually. Kung Fury almost gave up and decided to leave until he heard a woman's voice. The cop got intrigued by the noise and walks over to the fountain to see if someone was really there. When he was next to the fountain then he can hear some kind of wailing noise that was getting closer to him. Kung Fury turns around since he heard the noise behind him but when he turned around, the drone collides into the cop actually knocking him off his feet. "Hay watch it!" said Kung Fury back at the drone rubbing his head. He sees the woman he heard earlier come over and helped him up especially introducing herself. "Y-yeah, I'm fine." said Kung Fury then realizing she was wearing extreme cold weather clothing. The Nexus's temperature wasn't too hot or cold but her outfit did give Kung Fury a vibe that she maybe new here. "Nice to meet you Mei, the name is Kung Fury. Are you new here?" said Kung Fury greeting Mei.

It was another average summer, as they came.
Sure, there was the incident in the human village. That was interesting for a while. Watching humans cheer as gods and priests duked it out to try to win their favor was wonderfully entertaining while it lasted. But the fact was, it didn't capture Yuuka's attention for long. Not that much ever did, of course, but that was beside the point. Once it was resolved, it was back to an average life in the garden for her. Nice, but dull. Though she was getting old by now- was this what all Youkai did as they got older? Fall into a spiral of waking up, having a boring average day, and then falling asleep again to get ready for the next dull day?
She idly chatted about this with Elly that night, over tea. Though Elly was simple, and she admitted she didn't understand the problem well, she sympathized. Regardless, it was good to have someone to talk to about it. Yuuka gave the gatekeeper a little kiss on the forehead (at which Elly blushed a bit) and sent her back outside to guard the gate. Though it would have been a nice thought to treat her a bit more, Elly still had a job to do. Not like Yuuka wouldn't see her again.
She slipped off into sleep quickly, an effect half of the dream world and half of her aging.
The next morning was as any other. Yuuka bathed, dressed, took her parasol, gave Elly another smooch goodbye as she left (and reminded her to get some rest), and went on her way.
She didn't recall making it to the Garden of the Sun before waking up in the white void of the Nexus.
At once she was stuck by an anxiety she hadn't felt in what seemed like centuries. She felt weak. Like the environment around her wasn't supporting her anymore. With great difficulty she lifted herself from the ground, as if her body was truly that of a human the age she looked. She recalled vaguely the words of someone ushering her into this new realm, but honestly didn't care enough to think them over thoroughly. It was strange to feel her powers seemingly originating from within herself. For a moment she paused to mull this over, before taking a closer look at her surroundings.
Though they were for the most part blank, Yuuka did notice a fairly large disturbance in the whiteness nearby. It was some huge mechanical device she didn't recognize- seemingly from the Outside World. Those in Gensokyo rarely got a glance outside, so she had little idea what it was supposed to be. Whatever, none of her business. She could scrap metal the thing if she wanted, but saw little point in it right now- she didn't need a shovel yet, or anything. She'd see about that if the thing started acting up.
At the sound of a nearby conversation, her head turned. Ah. Those were humans, from what she could tell. She gleaned that the other mechanical... thing... had been causing problems for the one, but they were working it out. For some reason she doubted these two were permanent residents here as well- there weren't amenities here to house one person, let alone two. And things didn't stay this clean for long with humans around, anyway. They were the type to walk in and just destroy things willy-nilly, after all. That was what humans were made for.
Instead of walking, Yuuka hovered towards the pair. She was only about four or five inches off of the ground, but it was enough to make the average height Youkai look larger. Standing normally, she was only around 5'5" tall. In addition, she went ahead and opened up her parasol behind her, for additional surface area, much the way a cat would puff up its fur to make itself look bigger. Her parasol, too, felt strangely weaker and disconnected from her body. It felt sturdy enough to be used to shoot Danmaku, but not enough to be used as a shield or bludgeoning weapon. Shame. Well, it was still a useful thing to have around.
"Hello!" Yuuka chimed, putting a smile on her face. There was no need for her to be impolite. If it was beneficial to make acquaintances in the meanwhile, then she would do so. She drifted closer to the two, keeping her posture upright but not stiff as she moved. (It was easy to find yourself in a different, non-standing position when flying low to the ground like this.) The Youkai kept herself looking amicable but not off guard. With humans, you never knew what sorts of things they would do. She wouldn't want to have to give them a test to strength this early in the morning. (Was it still morning here? ...Did it matter, if she was tired? She went with no.)

Mei sighed in relief when Fury mentioned he was okay; considering that Snowball was made mostly out of metal, it would potentially be the equivalent of getting hit with a sledgehammer at the speed it was going. But looking over the man with an odd name, she noticed that he didn't even have a scratch on him. He didn't even have any armor on!
Snowball made a little whimpering noise and retreated to its charging station in the cyrochamber. Mei reached out with a gloved hand and patted the drone. "It's okay, Snowball. Just don't run off like that again." The robot chirped happily.
Then the man asked if she were new here. She wasn't quite sure what had tipped Fury off, but since he was dressed for moderate weather, the climatologist guessed that it wasn't all that normal to be wandering around this place with a giant parka. "Yeah, you could say that," she admitted, glancing off at the golden Numbani fountain in the distance. "How long have you been here?"
Before Fury had the chance to respond, another woman came along and greeted the two. As rude as it seemed, Mei couldn't help but stare-- for one thing, the woman had green hair. And she was floating. Not like she hadn't seen someone float in the air before, but that particular person was a spiritually-enlightened Omnic by the name of Zenyatta. This woman... well, she looked normal, but considering the circumstances, she really didn't have any right to judge.
She finally managed to stop staring before things got to awkward. "Um, hi!" She held out her hand and shook the lady's. "I'm Mei."
Snowball chirped in protest.
"Oh, and this is Snowball. Anyway, are you new here too?" A brief moment passed before her gaze fell back down to the woman's feet, which were hovering a few inches above the ground. "How exactly are you doing that, if you don't mind me asking?"

"I been here in the Omniverse about a week now. Before, I was standing were you are at right now. Don't worry, things will become less confusing when you get around. There is no going back where you came from too. I had to learn that the hard way." said Kung Fury with his shades on then leans his head to the right to see the drone go back in it's capsule with the head poking out. Kung Fury sees Mei has her attention on something else besides him which made the cop confused until he turns his head too seeing the floating green hair yokai woman holding a parasol approaching them. Kung Fury wasn't too sure if the woman was new or was just another prime who was been living here long enough. Remembering what the commander told him about the enemies of the empire, the cop was ready for any bad thing to happen. For his posture, he stands still relaxed and didn't look threatening. When the woman greeted them in a cheery mood, this made Kung Fury ease up a bit from the welcoming attitude.
"Greetings." said Kung Fury bowing his head a bit. The floating woman did made Kung Fury curious how she was doing that but she could have some supernatural powers just like him to be able to use that ability. "Are you new here too?" questioned Kung Fury pulling his shades down a bit where you can see his eyes staring up at the yokai woman which made her taller then the kung fu cop.

Well, this certainly wasn't anywhere in Gensokyo. Not to be self-centered, but she doubted people there would be so keen on introducing themselves to a powerful Youkai like her. These humans were strange- one dressed in what Yuuka assumed to be outside world fighting gear and the other in a parka. They weren't even dressed for remotely similar circumstances, let alone this specific (or strangely nonspecific, to be honest) world. While they may have found her floating strange, she found them stranger. At least people in Gensokyo were sensible about this sort of thing.
She hardly cared that Mei was staring at her. People could gawk all they wanted, it still wouldn't bother Yuuka a bit. You got used to people watching you do things when you were powerful and good at fighting. But when the woman stuck out her hand in greeting, Yuuka had to pause a moment to buffer what the meaning of it was. Though she eventually did lightly grasp the other woman's hand, she let Mei do the majority of the shaking part. She wasn't about to rip someone's arm out on accident by shaking too hard. "Kazami Yuuka. But just Yuuka is fine, if you prefer," Yuuka replied. To be honest, most people really did just call her Yuuka- since she was a Youkai, no one bothered to be overly respectful about her name. "It is nice to meet the both of you."
As she did get closer to the two, they may have noticed the unusually strong smell of flowers on her. Of course, as a manifestation of nature, the air around her was flowery just as the air around something like an ice fairy would be cold. She chuckled a bit at Mei's wonder at her floating. Everyone in Gensokyo could do that- it was a basic requirement when it came to danmaku. Still, why not have some fun with these two? No need to be grim when they were just meeting for the first time. "It's actually an intricate setup of very thin wires hanging from the ceiling." Though Yuuka was still smiling, her expression didn't significantly change while telling the ludicrous fib. She didn't even know if there was a ceiling here.
Her smile dropped into a small, slightly frustrated frown as she was asked the status of how long she had been here. Well, it would be fun to fib about living here, but she doubted she could follow up on that one. Better to stick to one blatant lie per conversation until she got a reputation, just to be safe. "Unfortunately," she continued, "I am new here. More unfortunately, this doesn't even seem like an interesting place to be." Yuuka punctuated this by spinning around and leisurely floating until she took a seat on the hood of Fury's car. Flying seemed more draining to her here than it had in Gensokyo. Another unfortunate circumstance. She did not particularly care that this wasn't her car to sit on.
She glanced to Kung Fury, who she recalled had been around a bit longer than the girl. "So, what exactly are we expected to do here? While I have plenty of life ahead of me to waste, I'd rather not spend it sitting here staring into space." Plenty of life was a bit of an overstatement for the Youkai, who could be expected to live several hundred more years at least back in Gensokyo. She glanced to Mei as well. Would it be awkward to suggest they just get it over with and fight to the death already, if they were meant to be seeking power? Probably. "I take it you feel the same way too? Unless you have any other ideas." This was directed at Mei. Perhaps the other woman would bring that bit up. If not, Yuuka wouldn't be too disappointed.
You couldn't expect humans to give you everything you wanted, she supposed.

As Yuuka got closer, Mei noticed a scent of flowers wafting about. Since she generally worked in the icy conditions of the tundras, smelling plants was a very rare occurrence. If this had been a different situation, she would've asked what kind of perfume the Youkai was wearing and where she had bought it, but there were more pressing matters to attend to, namely what they were to do now. Besides, it wasn't like she could actually get that perfume in the first place.
She couldn't help but give the Youkai a suspicious look when she claimed that she used strings to float. "I don't think this place even has a ceiling," she countered, glancing up at the white void. This girl was probably just having fun at her expense. Or maybe flying was just a thing they could do in her world. "Nevermind. ...Hey, if we're all sorta new here, why not team up? Safety in numbers and all that." Mei turned and pointed towards the gate to the Pale Moors. "That place looks interesting. How about we check it out?"

Kung Fury sees Yuuka sits on the hood of his Lamborghini but didn't really care much if she touches it. Strangely enough, this new stranger was giving off a aroma that was smelt like springtime. He hasn't smell this kind of fragrance for who knows how long due to him working and living in the city for almost his whole life. The cop responds to Yuuka's opinion of the place saying "Yeah same here, I came here to know more places and things that this Omniverse holds." When Mei talks about teaming up, Kung Fury turns his head back at Mei and responds "I wouldn't mind doing that, it would be like the old times when I was working back in Miami." The gateway that Mei was pointing to was far away from the fountain most likely the same distance as Coruscant's was. Kung Fury did get information on the types of gateways that were entrances to other verses before he entered the Nexus. What Mei had her attention on looked to be the Pale Moors gateway that the cop heard which holds very possible threats and can be dangerous. "I think I know which gateway you are pointing too. The people I work with on duty back in the city of Coruscant called it the Pale Moors. All I been hearing about that place, it holds some kind of dark tone and but that's all the information I know so far. If you want to travel to that gateway, I have some wheels we can go faster on." said Kung Fury looking back at Mei.
The cop walks back to his car where Yuuka was still sitting which she was resting a bit from levitating. He opens the driver's scissor door up and looks back at the others for their response. "I will warn you guys that this car only has two seats. The one sitting in the passenger seat might have to share room." said Kung Fury back at the two newcomers.

Yuuka kept smiling as Mei got confused about the wires thing. Wow, she really wasn't that sharp, was she? Well, Yuuka figured she could always use her as a human shield later if need be. "I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I was lying, by the way," She replied, almost... proudly? Well, messing with humans was the closest thing to excitement she could get in a place as boring as this. "I'm a Youkai, so I can do a lot of things humans can't. We don't all fly, but the vast majority of us can," She clarified for the others, "and do, since it's much more fun than walking."
The suggestion of traveling together was one Yuuka honestly had to give thought. Would it honestly be beneficial to hang around two humans whom, for all she knew, had specialties in getting themselves and all their friends killed? Well, she could always revive. Not to mention, they would be good for bait if anything bigger and worse than her showed up. "Sticking together may be prudent. Let's all do our best, then." She could always ditch the two of them later. If worst came to worst, they'd maybe make a few days ration between them.
It took Yuuka a moment to spot what Mei was pointing at. Ah, yes. That was something in the distance, at least. Something was at least moderately better than nothing. She listened intently as Fury explained that it was to some place called the Pale Moors. Well, she'd never heard of it, but that was to be expected. Idly she wished they knew a bit more about the place before heading off there with nothing else in mind. That, however, seemed like a bit of an impossibility with two people who had literally just showed up and one who had been there less than ten days. Ah well.
"I suppose that seems as good a place to start as any other." The woman did her best to make her way from where she was on the hood into the empty seat of the car. She had never been in one before, honestly- modern technology baffled her greatly. Nothing this big had a chance in hell of making it through the barrier. Though she doubted it would be easy for two people to share this seat... It was clearly a chair designed for one. She glanced questioningly at Mei. That mechanical thing she had gave Yuuka the impression she may know more about this deathtrap-looking device than the youkai.

Of course she was lying. She would've guessed otherwise. But what exactly was a Youkai? Yuuka appeared to be human. Maybe it was an alternative form for socializing? Or maybe Youkai was a term for "human" in her world. Whatever it was, it wasn't important right now
Mei frowned a bit when Fury warned that the Pale Moors were dark. She'd probably need a flashlight for it... unless he meant something else. Still, it was better than nothing. "We should probably get going then."
Following the cop to his ride, the climatologist noticed that the car lacked any hoverpads; this car was definitely vintage, despite looking brand new. Fury probably summoned the thing using Omnilium, hence the contradiction. He mentioned that the passengers would have to share a seat, and Mei glanced down at her extreme winter clothing. "Ah-- in that case, let me take this stuff off."
However, she found that she didn't need to actually take it off-- after a few moments of wishing the layers of extra cloth were off her, and while struggling to get it off by herself, the clothes evaporated into Omnilium, leaving her in a blue tank top and black skin-tight pants. The cyrochamber vanished as well, which was a good thing since she wasn't sure where to put it. Her blaster, however, remained by her side in a newly-formed holster, alongside three clips of liquid nitrogen.
Now that she took up considerably less room, she turned to Yuuka. The Youkai was staring at the car like it would rear up and attack her at any moment. "Let me help you," Mei said, raising up the scissor door of the passenger seat and ushering her inside. Once Yuuka was settled comfortably in her seat, the Overwatch member slowly slid in until the two were sitting in the one seat. It wasn't uncomfortable, although it was a bit awkward.
"I think we're ready, Mr. Fury," she said, trying to look at the man from behind the Youkai woman's head.

He gets in the car with the others and starts it up. When the car started, the cassette player starts playing a song called Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics. "Ok then ladies, hold on." replied Kung Fury to Mei looking back at her then puts the car's gear into drive. They speed away southeast from the fountain towards the Pale Moors gateway. The cop keeps looking back at Yuuka who is still giving off a strange look to his car which makes him reply with "I'm guessing you never seen a car or technology like this before." Yokai was another term that Kung Fury has never heard before but that was what Yuuka explained what she was. This made Kung Fury think that her species have some kind of God like powers that she can use in her daily life. "So since we are going to become a team, how about we know each other a little bit more. I assume I should go first explaining where I come from. I'm a cop and damn good at my job. Before I came to the Omniverse, I was serving the law in the year 1985 in a city called Miami on the south east coast of USA. I developed a unusual power of kung fu that only one can handle, the chosen one. Now in the Omniverse, I have been serving the Empire Peace Division known as the EPD in the city of Coruscant. The city is the capital to the Empire and it does house a lot of scum and villainy in the lower tiers where we have less control. From my presence, I have been keeping crimes rates down where ever I go." said Kung Fury focusing on driving rather then looking at the two packed in one seat.

Yuuka was beginning to wonder if these humans were trying to kill her. (Tough luck there, weren't they all supposed to be immortal here?)
First off, the cute girl took off the majority of her clothes. Though Yuuka barely got to have a look before she was ushered into the car, it was still a cute outfit. At this point it would be better to keep her distance, though. If she needed to rely on someone, flirting was a bad idea. Well. Bad idea until they proved themselves, anyway.
Being strapped into the car was an experience. If it weren't for the ease at which the mechanism disengaged, Yuuka would have seriously considered bailing on the whole thing the moment she was placed in restraints. She trusted this vehicle about as far as she could throw it. And considering how early it was, that wasn't too far. Maybe if she were feeling better, she'd be able to throw it farther and henceforth have a better opinion of it. But she digressed.
She rapidly figured out why the restraints were in place once the car started.
Oh.
...Perhaps mankind was not meant to speed this much.
Yuuka dug her fingernails deep into wherever was convenient. She looked partially distressed and partially disgusted with their speed. When she realized this, she tried to emphasize the latter. Going at a speed faster than walking was absolutely foreign to her. Though usually something death-defying would be exhilarating to the youkai, this seemed a bit excessive in the speed department. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts to mentally will the car to slow down, it retained its speed. She settled on just closing her eyes as they drove.
She half-payed attention as Fury retold his story. America was something she was vaguely familiar with, but it was a bit too new for her to be totally sure on it. The other place here seemed a bit more interesting, since she could actually go. But he had said "lower layers", implying the place was underground. So, not a good place for gardening. Sad. Yuuka could use somewhere to hole up for a while and get her bearings around here, but neither this "Coruscant", here, nor this "Pale Moors" place they were going seemed suitable.
When he finished his little story time, Yuuka took her cue. "Right. As for me, I live in Gensokyo. Since you're from the Outside, I guess I should explain further. It broke off from the human world in Meiji 18- Oh, 1885 to you. Anyway, it's where things the Outside World doesn't believe in or forgot about go, like deities, ghosts, fairies, and, of course, youkai. Not much comes in from the outside, and even less leaves once it gets there. I've lived there since it was established, so about 130 years now. Time does fly, though. It seems like just yesterday I was making my own incidents. There isn't much consistency within its residents, it's a little small, and there are lots of rules, but it's a place to be. And I don't think they'd let me out even if I asked really nicely anyway." Yuuka chuckled at this last addition. "But now I'm here! So that's about all I have."
Some time during her little exposition-fest, Yuuka had opened her eyes and started staring into the distance. At least her mildly pleased smile had come back as she was reminiscing on the whole thing. She could have started much earlier than Gensokyo, of course. But one could only condense so much history and explanation into a bite sized chunk before most humans got bored with you. And with reason, anyway- personal narrative time was dull as hell when you weren't interested in people. She just hoped the humans would have something better than generic stories to keep her busy on the way there. Yuuka bored far too easily for those to keep her interested for long.
