Holiday Traditions?
#1
Do you have any traditions for Christmas (Or another holiday in December).
My tradition is TV Christmas movies.

For New Year's eve, we always watch Dinner for One - and if you haven't seen it on youtube, on TV or somewhere I suggest that you do so right now! It's an old black n white theater piece, absolutely awesome and hilarious.
SPOILERS BELOW
An old lady and her butler keep celebrating new year's eve with the lady's friends, who have long since died - thus the butler plays the role of every friend in turn, including drinking their drinks when the lady toasts to them and getting more and more drunk with every part of the menu.
Also, they have a rug of a tiger with a stuffed head, over which the butler trips every so often. That alone makes it worth watching.
Please message me before you attack my character or assault my base! Thanks!

Hmm, sounds... Interesting. (Kinda reminds me of the movie Psycho (1960))
through-out the movie we hear about Norman's mother but we never see her, the twist was he killed he and pretends to be her.
I've always grown up watching "It's a Wonderful Life" around this time of year. It's a great black and white movie staring James Stewart (Who is one of the great classic movie actors if you ask me!) It's a Christmas movie about a man down on his luck who gets to see how is life would have played out if he had never been born. Very moving movie. Touches your soul and makes you appreciate your krummy life. xD

Basically what I do. We also do a dinner thing similar in size to Thanksgiving.

We have a running tradition where my sister and I drink whiskey and speed run through donkey kong country 2 co-op the night of Christmas Eve. It used to be that we steadily played it over winter break back when we were in school, but as we got older, better and vacation time shrank, it turned into what it is now.

Also, a newer one is that I watch TFS's Christmas Tree of Might.

THAT is an excellent couple of traditions.

We've missed it a few years due to me being in places that don't exactly spread Christmas cheer for work reasons, but it is my all time favorite tradition. I recommend to anyone to make a Christmas Eve run of any game they heavily enjoy and can beat in that time frame, co-op or not. Something about it at that time of year just wakes up the kid in you.
