Prime Reading(I'm going to play this prime thing out xD)
#1
You like your work being read right? Me too! ...and I like reading your work as well! I know, I'm just a kick ass guy, thank you. So why this post you ask? Well, and mind you, you don't have to, but if you would all put links to your IC threads (in order that they happen) on your roster I would most certainly read your work ...and more others probably would too!

Some of you make summaries for your threads and that's cool too (You kick ass go get'ers, you!) but you don't have to if that's whats discouraging you. A simple list of links to your threads is perfect! Just throwing it out there. Its better to read your work in order than to of jumped around reading this or that, helps the process a lot actually. Can't wait to read all your blockbuster, ass kicking tales of legend. Thanks for being a rock-star and stay classy. *Flashes finger guns at you*

Seeing as how I don't have a fleshed out history in my roster, this was a nice exercise to do.

The Scramble – viewtopic.php?f=12&t=165 – Proto Man arrives in the Omniverse alongside many other primes, drawing the attention of the Kingdom and Empire, who send their top representatives to try and recruit. During the process, Proto Man as a mild stand-off against Judge Dredd, Coruscant’s chief ‘justice’ officer. Proto Man meets Samus Aran, a bounty hunter in a suit of armor, and Nanoha, a kind and gentle woman. Despite his distaste for Dredd, Proto Man travels with the group to Coruscant, where he receives a room in an upscale hotel on Tier 1.

Hope Rides Alone – viewtopic.php?f=16&t=343 – Proto Man settles into a life in Coruscant. In the process he unknowingly summons his ‘family’ and encounters a mysterious ‘inspector’ investigating some events around Coruscant. In the process he also acquaints himself further with the woman known as Samus Aran.

The Emperor’s Jubilee – viewtopic.php?f=16&t=304 and viewtopic.php?f=29&t=385 – Proto Man, Samus Aran, and Nanoha Takamachi are ‘recruited’ to help deal with a potential terror attack at the Emperor’s annual jubilee—a lavish parade on the top tier of Coruscant. When the attack fails to materialize, they are informed by Doctor Gero of strange activity in the Dataverse. Dredd sends the three into the Dataverse, where they are immediately attacked by a slew of adaptive machines that chase them to the safety of the Archives. In the library, Proto Man seeks to learn more about the Copper Eye, so the Librarian sends him into a digitized novel. In the novel, Proto Man befriends a young boy whose older brother is a member of the Copper Eye. The two talk and eventually the boy tells Proto Man where the headquarters is after Proto Man convinces him that he doesn’t want anyone to die. With Samus, Proto Man goes to confront the Copper Eye, where it is revealed that the ‘terrorists’ are starving, ill-equipped people who just wanted to escape the tyranny of the Empire. Just then, Dredd and the Space Marines arrive and kill everyone in sight, revealing that they bugged Proto Man upon upload to the Dataverse. Dredd says he’ll give both the primes medals for the good that they’ve done, leading Proto Man to storm off in a furious rage.

Family of Steel - viewtopic.php?f=16&t=517 – In the aftermath of the Copper Eye’s destruction, Proto Man is bitterly passing his time in the city when he sees several news reports about familiar-looking robots. When Gashon the inspector verifies this, Proto Man heads down to Tier 6, where he meets Roll and the other ‘Generation 1’ machines built by Doctor Light. Roll quickly grows fond of her older brother, although it takes a little longer for the other Robot Masters to bond with Proto Man as they try to track down the machines built by Dr. Wily, who they believe are up to no good.

Rage of the Rathalos - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=464 – News of a rampaging dragon draws Proto Man to Camelot. With his chocobo salsa, he traces the dragon’s tail to where it is fighting many other primes. The primes fight in unison, causing the monster to retreat. With the monster hunter Cindy, they trail it to its lair in the mountains, where its mate—the Rathian—lies waiting for the primes. In a grueling battle, the primes slay both monsters, who leave behind their two eggs. Cindy ambushes Samus and claims one of the eggs. Proto Man moves to defend his friend, but Cindy summons a dragon and slips away. Meanwhile, Ganondorf and Eighteen overwhelm Link and take the other egg.

Be Welcome to the Seat of the Council - viewtopic.php?f=17&t=745 – After the Rathalos, Proto Man sets out with a wounded Samus at the behest of Harry Dresden, who has left them instructions to follow him. With Biggs and Wedge, two Camelot soldiers, they track Harry to his base of operations. As Samus regains her bearings, Proto Man talks about the Omniverse with Harry, answering some of the wizard’s questions before receiving news from Roll that a potentially rampaging Robot Master has been spotted in the Ashen Plains.

Family of Steel – Man on Fire - viewtopic.php?f=23&t=812 – Proto Man travels to the Ashen Steppes in search of Heat Man, who has supposedly killed several people. When Proto Man confronts the Robot Master, he learns the true story of how, despite being vicious, the acts were in self-defense. Heat Man had just been wanting to study the area in peace. As they are talking, they are attacked by a powerful prime from a dystopian world called ‘Cell Delta.’ The two smaller robots escape down an erupting volcano and hide out in a cave until they are found, at which point Heat Man takes a savage blow for Proto Man. Proto Man savagely tries to protect his dying half-sibling, but in the end, it is Heat Man who fends off the prime. Wounded, partially crippled, and without anyone, Proto Man takes the dead Robot Master’s power and travels into the unknown.

Family of Steel – Carved from the Blighted Oak - viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1014 – Proto Man, wounded and deprived of many of his higher functions, winds up in the Tangled Green rather than the Nexus. He isn’t there for long when a rebooted application tells him of a nearby transmitter. Heading there, he discovers a video log left by Wood Man, another Generation 2 Robot Master. The log is from weeks ago and speaks of the machines efforts to study the flora and fauna. Finding the transmitter reveals another one deeper into the verse, so Proto Man goes to find it. Along the way he discovers Snake Man (a Gen 3), who was tracking Wood Man. Proto Man learns of the Blight, and after finding more caches, he discovers that Wood Man was infected by it and used the rest of his life to study it for the benefit of whoever tries to stop it. Meeting up with Mireya, a half-night elf, Proto Man pushes into the darkest, deadest parts of the Green, where he finds out a way to prevent the Blight from spreading. He also learns that Wood Man certainly succumbed to the transformative disease. With Snake Man and Mireya, he heads back toward the entrance, where they confront the Blighted Wood Man and defeat him before heading through the Gate en route to the Pale Moors, where the source of the Blight lay.

Out of Light, Into the Dark - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1489 – Arriving in Darkshire, Proto Man and company discover that they aren’t the first ones to track the Blight. After a meeting with Dobson and the mayor, they set out to figure out where the Archdemon (the source of the Blight) may be lurking. Along the way, they are separated, and Proto Man winds up with two warriors who are part of a caravan traveling to Silent Hill (see ‘In Blackest Night’ if you want to read that fight scene). Reunited with his friends, they press on to an old abandoned village, where they discover that a demon has turned it into an armory for a would-be army of darkspawn. This demonic blacksmith reveals that the archdemon is called Scylla and has set up camp at the Black Gate. In the fight with the blacksmith, Snake Man is killed and Mireya is grievously injured before Proto Man can defeat the demon.

My Brothers’ Keeper - viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1899 – Roll, who hasn’t heard from Proto Man in many months, has worked hard to keep the Community Center operational in her capacity as a cook/maid/quartermaster. One day, she receives a strange little device that converts her into binary and sucks her up in front of most of the staff.

DigiDestined (WIP) - viewtopic.php?f=29&t=1947 – Waking up in a strange world, Roll picks up the device, which summons an egg that quickly hatches into a little creature calling itself Leafmon, who reveals that they are in the Digital World and that she is a DigiDestined, destined to do great things alongside him, her Digimon companion!

The Cure (WIP) - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1833 – Returning to Darkshire, Proto Man learns from Dobson that Whirda, one of the original primes who investigated the Blight, has been excluded from Darkshire due to a dark taint. Proto Man tracks her and learns that, while she isn’t suffering from the Blight, she nevertheless seeks to stop it. The two set out, and along the way, they pass through a mountain range claimed by drow—evil dark elves who live underground. The primes escape the fight but learn that the dark elves may be manipulating a monster called the Tarrasque. Seeing the danger in letting a creature like this live, they plot a course to deal with it.

I already maintain such a list of threads related to Sarah's and DL's storyline in our C&C thread. I've updated the list for this occasion, so right now, it is up to date.

I hope you will enjoy reading them. If you're up to it, I'm sure both me and Sarah would appreciate it if you posted any feedback you might have in that thread.

Summaries-

A Dragon's Roar - Forbidden Memories (Nexus)
To anyone who knows of Fairy Tail and follows the saga, this is actually a pretty somber thread. Gildarts is a well known wizard in his original verse and is badass enough to save his guild members with a single punch. However, this time he is snatched from his world in the moment his guild might need him most. He faces a dragon of death set on destroying them all and just found out he had a daughter. These things happened simultaneously yet Gildarts can only remember the dragon (which implies some of his distinct characteristics that tilt toward his warrior lifestyle) and it hasn't actually hit him that he will be unable to see his guild again. The oblivious man still believes himself to be within reach of his guild, never before has he been so wrong.

Needless Carnage (WIP)-Vastly Deep
Despite the name, you would expect to see a bloodbath of besieging agony leaving no innocent left unharmed. However it is not so, sorry to disappoint but in this thread Gildarts battles with the compromises he must make as a overly strong mage and I made an effort to emphasize the downsides of destruction (particularly in imperial societies) to contrast the consistent name of the thread. There's a lot going on here within the mage (though I am leading into his path rather than starting right on it) and I think there is more to be said about power than who it should be used against.
