Retane blinked. He knew he had died. The street fighter had killed him. But why was he back here? Was this a joke? Did some higher power have some sick sense of humor and choose to recreate his coming to this land? "What is this?"
The Mark and Sigil on his arm slowly began to glow almost instantaneously. The Namek almost wanted to call the Lythian off. He really wasn't in the mood for dealing with him but this was different. This wasn't the Shadow Mist being activated. No this mist was more of a platinum light, a silver hue even
It formed into a ball and Retane had to wonder if he was suppose to concentrate and form the being that it would soon take the shape of, as he had done with Arith. But, before he could though, a bright flash burst from the orb, blinding the Namek momentarily.
When his vision returned. he found himself staring at a an elf. The skin was fair almost pale, but nearly silverish, matching his long hair.
"He killed you. You let him kill you. Why?" The new being spoke, obviously interested at the Namekian dying.
"Who are you?" The Namek was angry, yet still so lost.
"I can answer that, but only after you think about speaking on what I just asked you.
The green warrior paused, still confused. He had no clue what was going on. But he thought back for a moment.
Retane had called the street figher out and it seemed he had done his job. But why was he being forced to think about it? Was this death? Gouki was no longer about and Retane was sure he had accepted death, so he must be dead.
The warrior tried to think, but his mind had a million questions and very little answers. "I do not know why I allowed myself to lose. I dont know. I don't seem to know anythng but my name and what I am." He paused, " And still I don't even know that."
Retane found himself looking down at solid dirt as he spoke. He felt emotional; angry; sad, confused, and still wondered about all the questions in his head.
A sniffle came from ahead of the warrior and Retane snapped his eyes to look at the figure. He was in the shadow mist, yet the Namekian had not summoned him, and it was that of a silvery gow.
"Summon Arith ad then we shall speak." The figure stepped then, the mist giving way to his figure and color. Still though, he seemed shaded, as if he didn't belong here, but wore a dark orange cloak and had silvery hair.
Retane wanted to call him a Mystic for some reason, but before he had a chance, the shadow mist cast itself and Arith appeared in his golden dragon armor.
The namek paused for a few moments to ponder the situation and had to wonder what the hell was going on. " I didn't summon him, but he's here." Retane had a scowl on his face. "So lets speak?"

"So let's speak." Retane had questions, and wanted answers. "First off, who are you?"
"Enroshia..." Arith blurted the answer out as soon as he looked towards the figure the Namek was speaking to.
Enroshia had turned away from the Green warrior after making the request to call forth Arith, the Dragon Warrior of Lythia. Hearing his old friend's voice the Lythian could only stiffen a bit and finally turn around. His face was stern, but looked a bit emotional.
"My friends, I have failed you." Enroshia lokked them both in the eyes. "I am sorry for that. But I want you.. both to listen closely as I don't have much time. "
Retane looked towards Arith, who had his helm off his head and a confused look on his face. The Namek had heard what the Mark was for so he knew that Arith wanted to go back to his own home, however, Retane wanted to know what 'home' was for himself.
"Arith, my friend. I dont know how long its been anymore. But I am sorry. I know you want to go home...We all do, but you just have to give me time." Enroshia spoke with a stern voice. It was straight forward, and Arith only gave a nod in response though it was obvious he wanted to speak.
"I have passed the Mark onto Retane. He killed a 'God' to help save a planet. He also was willing to sacrafice his life to save a universe. His natural instincts are even greater then your own." Enroshia let a weak smile twitch his lips and released it soon after.
"He has had some dark spots in his past, and he past and future are for him and him alone to choose. I want you to aid and obey him, not matter his choices. It is not his fault that he is here but until I can make things work, this is how it must be."

Enroshia turned his eyes to Retane, "You don't remember me do you?"
The Namek gave a slight shake of his head, "No."
The elvish warrior looked down for a moment then up to the sky, "Then what I am about to tell you, you will either believe, or may think I have made up. I do not know, because I no longer know you, as you no longer know me."
Retane listened intently, and sure enough, he was wondering if this was some kind of trick.
"You are a Namekian, born on planet Namekian. You were one of Gromp's offspring all great Namek's in their own right. Gromp, however was one of the greatest psychics ever known to your kind. You were a member of the Warrior Class, and during a spar with a comrade, you killed him. You belived that one could not get stronger if they took it easy. You had a will to hone your skills. Thus from this action you were exiled from Planet Namek.
"You became a mercenary, wearing the guise of a mask and called yourself the Dark Hunter, bent on pushing yourself further and further. You found yourself on Planet Namek after meeting and allying with a dark Konat named Minoshia. You both respected each other. One would even call yourself friends. From there you and a few others created an Aliiance calling yourself The Horsemen. A Group you would later become the leader of and would pass on the rights to your so-"
Enroshia stopped himself for a moment and "Half my time is already up. It seems."
"Then hurry up and tell me what you were saying" The Namek had been listening intently wondering if this was all true, and Enroshia pausing to tell him he had already spent half his time here annoyed him.
"While on Earth you, Minoshia and others encountered ancient Gods of an Anceint time. There you chose to fight them, because you were The Horsemen and The Horsemen did what they wanted. You few defeated your advesaries one on one testing your powers and skills agaisnt their own. You killed the God of Death, and claimed his title and power. Because you were your father's son, you possessed the power to sense things, a gift Earth itself had initially granted you and upon acheiving the powers of the God of Death's ability, you achieved the ability no other mortal had acheived. You could sense those in the afterlife.
"You, were a part of the Defense of the Universe against a group of Sentients called the Hive. They turned all beings they killed and became insectoids of the Hive. It was suicide but you, as a Horsmen joined. You weren't going to lose your Home Planet, and Earth, the Planet that had given so much without a fight. Plus being The Horsmen you were, never backed down from a Challenge.
"Killing the God of Death, would later put a target on your back. Where the off sping of the Former God of Death would spend his life preparing a spell that would rip you from the fabric of our time and space. But you had become more stronger then he had ever imagined. So instead you found youself cursed in limbo. Even I couldn't help you because of the curse. It seems you have arrived here though. The curse was to remove you from existance. But still, you remain.
"You have grown strong, and because I have seen what your genetics can acomplish, I have no doubt that you will become great again. You have managed to help save a race, have stopped the destruction of another, helped save a universe, was once the Champion of Earth. You have also been the Namek that killed many that ever challenged you. They use to whisper your name in the dark shadows.
"You had friends though, ones you cared about. You had a good side, and a dark side. Those in the afterlife brought you back from there because of this. You were our own mercenary. Aside from me, you had Minoshia and his brother. Tapion. Tapion was a person that died in a fight and you went beserk in a tournament called Dante's Abyss. You ascended in power then. And you showed you really had a heart.
"During the Hive, you wanted to be remembered even if you died, so you gave an egg, which..." Enroshia paused again.
"Speak already. You keep either trying to tease me or are hiding something. Tell me what it is!" Retane could sense he was hiding sometihng, something in his mind and he couldn't explain.
Enroshia sighed and furrowed his brow. "You had a son."
Retane didn't flinch. He showed no emotion, though deep down inside he didnt know what to think. "I had a son... Not have?"
Enroshia kept his scowl, "Had a son. Because of the curse yu were never born and with it, Respawne, as you named him, or Maleficus Nova as he took the name, the Jade Fend; The Imperfect Namek; because his egg got cracked. He was dubbed the Imperfect Namek because his egg was cracked in a sonic boom and the doctor you gave the egg too, saved him with technology. He had living metal in parts of his flesh but he lived because he had your genetics. His skills were different however; Never got your god of Death abilities was strong with the conection of air. He also had a close friend. One he chose to share his life with in his body so she wouldn't die for a single mistake.
"You let him live his life but as any father would, intervened a few times. He rejected you and loved you at the same time. Because he never knew you were always looking over him. But because of the curse, Maleficus Nova, and Tamsin Sazuko have never been. The Horsemen you helped create and he continued, never was.
"Your ascendancy has never even happened. But because of the power you acheived back then, and because of how strong you had become. You seem to be at the age where you killed your comrade. I dont know what it means. But it was your first action that, though an accident, made you who you were."
"His name?" Reatane had to ask.
Enroshia gave a confused look and let out a sigh.
"His Name!?" Retane had become annoyed.
"Nova. "
Retane didn't flinch. Though his breath was held for m any moments.
Enroshia studied his former comrade for a few moments trying to understand or figure out what was going on in his head.
"It wasn't your fault. You just.... had aspirations... To Protect... You must become strong... To survive you must become strong...."
Enroshia looked up again, "My Time is nearly up, it has spent me nearly ten years your time get here for this long. I am sorry. But I gave you my Mark because I wanted to help you. I have time for a few questions, but you have to make them fast."

Retane gave it some thought for a few moment, "Is there anything you aren't telling me?"
Enroshia thought for a few moments, "At the moment, not really, that was the best way I could explain to you of how you once were in this short period of time. I wasn't gonna sugar coat it for you, though didn't want to enrage you either and hurt you by mentioning 'him'."
Retane accepted the answer but wasn't up for wasting time, "How do I return? Can I return?" It was probably the most important question.
Enroshia let out a sigh, "I don't know. The only one that knows at this moment is the Jackal that laid this curse upon you. It took me years to locate your life source, and even more to appear here through time and space. Once I return, I will do my best to seek out answers for you. But no matter what, you must get stronger. Right now, I could tell you that at your current state, you wouldn't even survive another shift, let alone the limbo."
"These Lythians of yours, are they any good? And how many are there?"
The Mystic Elf glanced at Arith, "The men in my company, there are a few. Whether you will be able to summon them all, depends on yourself. As for their skills, each one has their own traits and unique personality. But all are loyal. Perhaps Inirtias or Ashlon could help you better understand the others and maybe even help guide you. Arith, has always been my champion for his skill in battle. He never let me down no matter the outcome. I have at times had to even let him go in my stead into battles, but he can be a bit... eccentric."
The Namek looked to the Dragon Warrior who just gave a shrug as if he had no clue what his comrade was talking about. Retane had seen the antics of Arith, and only guessed he had seen only a small portion.
"Any other advice? If I choose to believe all this?" Retane couldn't think of anything more significant then the three questions he had asked. And was still unsure what to believe. But, still he had to ask this.
Enroshia paused for a moment and looked to the sky, " My time is up. But if I was you, perhaps you could try following what you did before? But stay away from anything like Dante's Abyss. That tournament seems to comsume and unleash a dark side of you...."

Enroshia took a deep breath as his skin became slowly transparent. He tried to offer a weak smile, but even the Mystic knew that this was just the beginning. His form soon diminished, fading into a light grey hue of smoke. The smoke flowed to the ground and dissipated into the the air itself
.
Retane stood there looking in the spot where his former comrade had just been standing. He didn't know how long he stood there, as he mulled over the event that had just transpired. It was a lot to take in, and handle at the moment. When he had first came to, he hadn't known who he was really, hadn't known his past. He knew his name and that he was a Namek. Or that's what his inner thoughts wanted him to believe.
Now Enroshia, a being from another plane, and planet, with the ability to cross through planes some how, had managed to seek him out, claiming he was an ally and had given him a bit more insight on who he had been. That is, of course, if he could believe the elvish warrior. For now though, he had nothing else to go on and so he just had to go with the flow.
The Namek turned his head realizing he was being stared at and looked at Arith, Enroshia's champion and loyal comrade. The golden warrior had one arm folded across his chest and the other hand on his chin, as if pondering something in deep thought. "What", Retane had to question.
Arith focused his eyes to the Namek's and his visage produced a frown as he began, "I still think Enroshia might be wrong. "
Retane took a few moments to ponder the words and his own features portrayed his puzzlement. Arith, however, ended it as he continued, " I still think you might just be some freakishly over grown gremlin.
The Namekian shook his head and turned around and began walking west.
"Where are we going", The Lythian worded as he started following suit.
"We", Retane asked as he glanced back, "Thought you didn't like 'gremlins' "
Arith threw his hands in the air in a shrug, "Was told that we follow you"
The Namek knew the answer before the weird individual had spoke. "I don't know where we are going, but we are going to do as your friend suggested. I am going to recreate The Horsemen. I'm going to get stronger."
