Quote:“My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”
Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most."
“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
“Babe."
"BABE!” A woman called out to him.
Broly snapped out of the fog he was in and realized that he was standing in a fountain, ankle deep in water. As reality came crashing back down to his conscious mind, his ears picked up the familiar sound of the Schism Reactor winding down as his wife climbed out of a hatch on it’s turret, dropping down to the bow of the 80-ton war machine.
“Still shell shocked I see.” Emilia said with a grin as she leapt from the edge of the tank bow, sloshing her way through the water.
“Yeah, what the fuck happened? Some white guy just held up a rainbow-colored turd.”
“Better question. Why are you still Super Saiyan?” His wife countered.
“What?” Broly said, taken aback.
Quickly looking down at his reflection the male Saiyan noticed his eyes were teal and his hair was blonde still, but he felt no drain on his stamina or energy reserves. Looking back at his wife he almost laughed as she was washing what appeared to be months of grime off her face and filling several canteens from her belt with water. Closing his eyes, Broly tried to relax his transformation like he used to but found that there was nothing to relax.
“So apparently there is no transformation to relax, Emz.” He said, sloshing over to his wife.
Taking one of her canteens he emptied it into his stomach, which made her scowl and snatch it away from him.
“Well, then show me what you got. See if you at least have access to the benefits before we write it off as some weird Omniverse thing.” Emilia said, dipping her newly emptied canteen back into the fountain water.
“Omniverse? The fuck are you talking about? Where are we?” Broly questioned, taking a step back to ready himself.
“Just…don’t ask and get combat ready.” She replied, dumping her newly filled canteen on her head, letting the cold water flush the sand from her hair.
Crouching down into a squared stance Broly clenched his fists and ignited a flame like golden aura that shot up around his body. The water around him spraying everywhere as he unleashed a roar that sent his power skyrocketing. The ground beneath him shook as he drew upon the wealth of energy he had within him, his golden aura expanding upward and out. As quickly as he had started, the Legendary Super Saiyan took a breath and relaxed his energy letting his aura flash away.
“I’m significantly weaker here. I don’t even have access to the true form.” He said, stepping out of the fountain and over to the tank.
“I figured as much.” Emilia replied with a nod, stuffing her canteens into a rucksack that was tied to the side of the armored skirt that protected the tank treads from enemy fire.
“Hop in. You’re driving. We have a lot to talk about on our way. I assume you still know how to drive a stick?”
“Always.” Broly said with a smirk, grabbing hold of one of the double barrels and pulling himself up onto the bow of the tank, before opening the hatch to the drivers’ seat.
