Casshan

CHARACTER NAME: Tetsuya "Casshan" Azuma

CHARACTER SOURCE: Casshan/Casshern anime from 1974

CHARACTER HISTORY: Tetsuya was the son of Midori Azuma and Kotaru Azuma. Kotaro dreamed of making robots to help people, though one night, lightening struck his lab, and his first robot, BK-1 broke free prematurely. Disgusted by the way humans perceived him, he built his own robot army and set off to kill all of the humans. Wanting to help, Tetsuya volunteered to get turned into a robot to defeat BK-1 (now known as Braiking Boss). Donning the name Casshan, Tetsuya fought to stop Braiking, with the help of his girlfriend Luna, and his robot dog Friender.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 5'11", muscular though thin. He wears a full body white suit, with his C shaped emblem on his chest. He wears a helmet where only his eyes can be seen, though he can lower the face guard.

STATS:
ATK: 3
DEF: 2
SPD: 3
TEC: 2

STARTING PROFICIENCIES: Physical Strength

STARTING POWERS: Survival, Super Jump Tier 1

STARTING MOVES: Boulder Chop- Using both hands, he performs a chopping motion in front of him. It is slow and thus strong, though he can't move while doing it, and his backside is exposed. It takes a seconds to wind up, though if it succeeds in hitting an opponent, it may break something. The attack leaves Casshan fatigued, unable to use it again for 3 minutes if it hits, 1 if it misses.

Catapult Knee- A simple uppercut, but performed with his knee instead. It launches opponents in the air. It is a mid speed attack, so it's not super weak nor strong. It's mainly the force of them falling from the sky afterwards that hurts the opponent, though if they have resistance to fall damage, it's not super useful. He can't move much while doing it, so it could theoretically be dodged. That, and again, his back is exposed. It takes a second to wind up the attack, and he can't use it again for another minute.

All of his moves weaken him, causing him fatigue. Exposure to the sun, or other heat can recharge him, but only to his full capacity, not beyond, it's not like Superman where being closer to the sun makes him uber strong. It just makes him less tired. It also won't heal any physical damage.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Welcome to the Omniverse. Everything looks mostly good, just a couple things.

From a basic overlook, all of your moves look like they could just be done with the basic Physical Strength proficiency and wouldn't need to be moves. But if you want them to be stronger than normal or have special effects, we can work that out. I'll go over what'd be needed for that below.

Boulder Chop:
-- The only thing I can think of for this one is some kind of windup for it, a little charge time. Given what's already present, a second or so would work fine.

Shooting Star Kick:
-- This is the one that most wouldn't need to be a move; it's just something you could do with a regular kick while you were airborne. That said, I can't really think of much else to add to or say about it, though you might add some extra fatigue or a windup/charge period to it, too, to add some extra force and help the knockdown attempt.

Catapult Knee:
-- Same as for Boulder Chop, a brief windup or charge period would cover this, even if it's a fairly brief one of just about a second.

General notes: Mention in the moves themselves how much fatigue each one causes, since I imagine they'd all do different there. And make sure going forward to include the OM cost (or what you think it should be, based on rules) and what proficiencies/powers it would require. In this case, they'd all be 300 OM moves, and require Physical Strength; Shooting Star Kick would require Super Jumping, as well.

Lastly, as for the thing about the sun: you're free to play it that way if you like, but in an actual competitive event or officially graded fight or the like, fatigue would still wear him down eventually, sunlight or no. Omniphysics can be a cruel mistress that way.

Thank you for your input! I wasn't sure exactly what should count as a move or not. Also, I have a habit of making characters weaker than they should be to avoid any complaints. And then there's also me thinking that it would be necessary to have a few moves.
The sun thing, I can totally just scrap that, it's not a big deal.
I shall make modifications right away.
Though, should I repost, or edit my initial post?

Haha, not a problem, friend. New systems always take a little adjusting to and learning the limits.

Feel free to just edit the original post or repost it, either is fine.

Alrighty, moves lookin' a little better now. The fatigue limits are a little overdone now, though. You're more than fine if you want to leave them as they are, it would certainly give them a boost in power, but you can also lower them quite a bit if you'd prefer. Either way; nothing else stands out particularly. I'll get your account activated now, and here's your Roster:
