CHARACTER NAME:Louis "The Wizard" Brown
CHARACTER SOURCE:Original setting
CHARACTER HISTORY:Louis's early life was absolutely nothing to write home about. Growing up, he had no interest in the arcane, magic, or any such nonsense. He was a born performer, a young lad with a guitar and a dream. The typical crowd one such free-spirit would find themselves around would be wood elves, or other such down-to-earth races. Louis much preferred the company of kobolds and half-orcs, distasteful of the elves in his youth who would so freely pick on anything without pointy ears. Louis's boring, normal upbringing would come screeching to an end when his grandfather passed away, leaving some gray robes to Louis's father, who now proudly wore the robes. One might wonder if those robes were cursed or something or other, because not too long afterwards, Louis Brown had watched an adventuring party, looking for a dangerous wizard donning gray robes murder his parents in front of him in cold blood, as others had his grandfather. A bloodlust not yet sated, they turned their ire towards him-- but the wizard in question appeared in a flash, not-so-coincidentally named Louis Brown. The adventurers were made quick work of, and the rest of Louis's upbringing was facilitated by himself-- from the future. Trained by one of the most powerful wizards known to his world, on Louis's twenty-first birthday his guardian had disappeared as if he had never existed, leaving a mere note and his wand. Simple instructions were scrawled-- Louis took the wand and traveled back in time, as his predecessor, his guardian had before him. At the dawn of time itself, there were one-hundred and twenty one beings of great magical might that grew power from their very names being spoken. The shapers of his reality itself, his gods-- they had made a fatal error, and put all of their trust into a corrupt state of clerics and priests, who were to subjugate and rule the world as the chosen ones. Louis did not particularly like this, and nor did his predecessor, nor the one before him, nor did anyone in all of reality itself named Louis "The Wizard" Brown. Aptly, there was a complicated, convoluted curse on his note that Louis had just so happened to try, turning the fledgling would-be conqueror empire into a bunch of bizarre ents. These ents would not be able to say much more vocally than "yes" or "no," and writing would prove impossible-- the curse would cause excruciating pain at any attempts. Destroying the records, Louis believed the horrible injustice he had corrected would be solved with time, and time would be on his side-- Following the notes, he left a dummy wand buried deep in the earth. Louis traveled back to his home time, give or take a few years-- he had to make a few visits. First, he dug up the 'dummy wand,' which aligned with the stars perfectly to absorb the bulk of the now deceased energy of the divine, giving him all the more juice to travel in time with. Second, he gave his grandfather some hand-tailored gray robes, masquerading as a travelling salesman. Thirdly, he had to save himself from an abrupt death, and-- the story repeated for the next generation. Louis Brown, now twenty-eight, had succesfully trained his apprentice, and, like many with his particular Louis Brown-y circumstances, decided to spend the rest of his life tampering with other planes of existence rather than his home plane-- he was no longer needed there, and any interference he might have might stop the cycle, the production of more... Louis-es. Unfortunately for Louis, he was sucked into the Omniverse before getting to do, well, anything.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Louis the wizard is a thin, slightly tanned man with shoulder-length black, frizzy hair, hazel eyes and a well-kept moustache. Never caught dead without his gray wizard robes and hat, when you get really down to it he looks like Inigo Montoya decided to change up his hairdo and steal Gandalf the Gray's robes. Louis is a fairly tall fellow at 6'1, however, you will be hard pressed to get him to tell you his weight.
