[Dream] Windows and Doors
#1
“Wh-where am I…” It was a simple question or would have been if Des could've actually pulled himself off the ground. Looking around to his wrists the robot saw the healthy green grass knots around them that were holding him down, they only brought up more questions than answers. It wasn’t until he saw the flaming grass that he remembered where he was.

The large metallic door at the other end of the room suddenly slid open, the screeching sound of it only quieter than the dialog that followed as it bounced off the dark purple stone of the circular confined layout. “Finally, after all these years, I have got you back in my grasp, how pathetic you must be to think that I would not have found a way to travel between universes to capture you and your loser cohorts.”
The bruised and battered robot just looked down at the ‘evil mastermind’s’ glowing forehead. “I honestly didn't think it would’ve been this easy to trick you.”

“Silence you puny landlubber, the Great Victor Seahooker the third of the Pacific Ocean's Kraken Killer Pirates does not get tricked” The braids in the pirates beard swayed so that the beads clatter together to add to his laughter, then the gruff pirate waved Desmond’s own cold metal cutlass against him.
“Are you sure about that?” The crimson clad hero spoke, a smirk cutting across his human face from behind a mess of scarlet locks. ”Because everything around here seems to be mine. You're holding my cutlass, I’m tied up to my ship, and we’re in my great ocean: The Sky!” His amber eyes burned with determination!
The aggravation in the ‘great’ Victor’s dark eyes was as clear as the light of day as he thrust the silver weapon towards his prisoner. Desmond just casually flipped his wrist to narrowly avoid it, before headbutting and dazing his arch enemy.
Using this time wisely, he soon cut the nearest arm’s bindings and his opposite leg’s restraints off.
“Why you little-!” The pirate's second attempt to take Desmond’s life didn’t fare any better for him. Using his free foot our tied-up hero stomped at a floor board directly below him, which came up to hit Victor in his special zone. The Dangerous D soon got the rest of his limbs free before standing before the now not-so-intimidating pirate that was on the ground in pain. “I’ve got you now.”

“W-what do you want with me?” The young blonde-haired boy said as he staggered weakly underneath the black android, pathetic.
“Oh dear sweet clueless child,” Desman started, letting each word’s syllables linger as long as they wanted. “You don’t know it yet, but you’re quite a special young lad!”
“Special?” Despite the fear in his curious blue eyes, they were intrigued, much like any other child his age would have been.
“Well you see, there is only one you.”
“I-isn’t there only one of e-everyone?” The little boy asked, he didn’t mean to be a pain, it’s just that’s what everyone told him.
“In this universe, yes, but I’m not just talking about this universe, I’m talking about all universes. In all other universes, all multiverses, all metaverses even. This universe, this specific chain of events, it’s the only one where you exist. I have been looking for people like you, people that only exist in one universe.”
“W-why?” The fear was more prevalent than the curiosity at this point. He started to shake.
“For your heart.” The short black android quickly thrust his hand to the boy's chest area. “Argghhh!!”

The metal of Deman’s longsword only clinked against the horns of the young red dragon, his scream easily blocking the sound out from the party's ears. If it wasn’t for the angle of attack, the knighted robot would’ve been melted by the flames by now, the counter attack made by the dragon's claws only just missing his torso.
“Why do you continue to fight me metal one?” The dragon growled, its voice thick with the accent of an ancient time before and as deep as the cavern's secrets. “You know you cannot win, so why even try?”
“Because,” Started the robot, his voice echoing in his helmet. “I need to protect my people and my honor.”
The dragon couldn’t help herself and burst out in laughter, pulling fully away from him to let it all out. “I-I’m sorry, it’s just that’s wwaaayyy to cliche.”
Desman’s only response to his scaly friend was just a solemn grunt.

It wasn’t a wonder why the human male was bored of that place by now, he been at this same desk for hours, the same way he's been at it for days - for weeks before, which turned into months, which turned into years. Sometimes he wished for adventure, but he knew adventure would never come, he only just managed to pass high school and go onto the Technical and Further Education program, but it had been all too much for him. He was lucky he was even able to get a job that paid quite as well as this one did.
As soon as his work shift was over he packed up his things, there was enough to fill a suitcase - and it did. The only thing he hated about that was that it was creating havoc for his back.
Now he was standing outside his home. It wasn’t a very pretty house from the outside, but it was his. It was the inside that was the best part of it. Always changing, never boring, forever interesting. His partner sure was keeping him on his toes as of late, and he liked it that way.
“Honey, I'm home." Desman bellowed as he creaked open the door.
"Thank goodness Desman,” They responded trying to stop the smile from spreading across their face and mingling in with their words, “I've been waiting for my hero."
"Heh." Desman smiled. They always knew what to say to him. "Where are you?"
"In the bedroom. I'm just about ready."
Desman paused. Did he forget about a party they had planned on going to?
"Ready?" He asked, reaching for the door but pausing there. He could hear their giggle, their laughter sent happiness through him. Like always. "For you, Desman." They answered him seductively through the door.
Face on fire, he eagerly pushed it open-

Desman was shaken awake by a rough jolt, setting straight up into the bed.
He gasped for fresh air as he stared down at the wet sheets across his lap. His mouth was dry, his face was soaked, and his hair was in his face. He swallowed trying to produce saliva before reaching up and running his fingers through his hair, the sweat holding his bangs out of his eyes which he had to close for a bit. His body was heavy, much heavier than it had ever felt in his robot form. He couldn't get the images that had passed through his mind during the night out of them. He didn't know which ones were the nightmares and which ones were the dreams, but they felt more like memories than anything.
It then suddenly hit him! The human body shot out of the bed, and he stood naked beside it, staring down at his hands.
HANDS!? Two of them!
And feet, legs! He hadn't fallen out of the bed this time.
But..
How? How did this happen? When did this happen! Wait.. Hadn't he been human in some of those dreams? Or was his time in the Omniverse a dream? Ash and Jak? Just dreams?
Or was he still dreaming!? IS THIS ALL JUST A FIGMENT OF ONE'S IMAGINATION!!!

Desman awoke with a start!

Yuuka KazamiBig Grines is like that one meme like... "How many levels of Omniverse are you on?"

Revan Noctis : Desman what are you currently doing in the omniverse?
Desman Black: I'm faking an engagement to a sex deamon to stop two samurai I accidently summoned whipping them in half, while also trying to stop them from doing the same thing to my best freind who is currently having relations with said deamon, and wh has now accidently summoned his previous girlfreind. So you know... normal stuff
