Working out a Character Idea

I have two questions here:

If I did a character similar to Kuzuru, two personalities/appearances in one, would it also be okay to have the separate personalities as NPC as well? I'm thinking of doing this with Disney's Moana where sometimes I'd be Moana, sometimes i'd be Maui, like Kuzuru does, but I'd like to summon an NPC of the other when I switch. (Provided I follow the proper guidelines for Prime/secondary NPCs)

Basically, when I am Moana, I summon Maui as a NPC and vice versa when I am Maui, I summon Moana as a NPC. Just like Kuz, I would also create separate movesets for each within my own OM pool.  


Also, how far away from yourself can you summon an assist? A few feet? As far as you have eyesight? As far as you have enhansed senses? Further with moves? Even further with supers? Tier 3 super = summon your assist in another verse? xD

The way you described it is a no go, Sassy. You're essentially trying to play two different characters on the same account. My suggestion would be to just take Maui as a Prime NPC and Assist.

You can summon them somewhere in your general vicinity.

As Croc said. It's a no. Since you'd playing two characters. It'd be like asking to play both Mario and Luigi. They're two seperate characters.

For an OC, you'd have a bit more sway (since, like, it's your canon so you can shove 'em both under the same character bracket as if they're alternative personalities). So someone like Summer/Sonny could get an assist for Sonny and Summer so they can both fight at the same time in seperate bodies. And in non-combat situations simply have the other be about and both exist at the same time with a fodder move. Doing it with NPC Primes wouldn't fly, since it wouldn't really make sense - and you'd be using them to get a direct advantage.

I wouldn't use them together in fights, outside of assists, this idea isn't for an advantage of any sort, but I do understand not wanting to take two prominent characters in one, I just didn't see them as that prominent. The one Disney character we had (Mickey Mouse/Jacob) was allowed to pull all kinds of Disney characters, even lead roles like Simba from Lion King, so I didn't think this was a stretch. 

Also, would we not allow Mario to assist Luigi? Is using him as a NPC that much more of a stretch? I would surrender rights to anyone attempting to join as Maui also. I don't wan't to be Maui, but I don't want to be Moana without Maui either...  (lol) It's cool if its still a no, just my reasoning for why it thought it might be allowed.

Edit: If I did indeed add alt forms to this equation, would that change things for the better?

With alt forms it would probably be denied. Since, again, you'd be playing two sepearate characters.

You can write from any point of view you choose. I could write a whole fight with Dane from the perspective of a secondary of his if I wished, as long as I never used that secondary to his advantage in the fight (unless I spent SP for however long to bump them up to an assist for a post or round or so). You can have them in a fight as an assist and your assist moves (and highly limited non-assist moves for them). But you can only have one "main prime". You could have your main character be either of them, and have the other be the assist (and npc prime). 

You're probably overthinking this a bit. It might be worth brushing up on the NPC and assist rules.
