Consciousness returned to Nyeseth as his cheek felt the coldness of a flat surface, the coldness was not new to him as where he’d been prior to here he remembered was cold and wet, but the flat surface was new, he remembered dirt and grass, but that was all he remembered right now.
Putting both his palms to the ground, Nyeseth hoisted himself up, his body ached but it was devoid of pain. Nyeseth opened his eyes, becoming instantly confused as he was met by a blinding darkness that surrounded him, Nyeseth went through a cycle of closing and opening his eyes to check that there wasn't something wrong, he became increasingly confused as a white silhouette began to materialize in front of him, contrasting the darkness that had seemed to consume him, although this did provide an answer to the question of whether he was blind or not.
Nyeseth tried to speak but found himself unable to, looking at the form that had finished forming in front of him, he noticed it’s out of proportion, gigantic grin on its face, as if it new something he didn't. it bothered him, unnerved him a little, even though the memory of the hollows he was fighting had begun to return, their grins couldn't hold a candle flame to this one.
‘My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse.’ Omni began to explain as Nyeseth trained his eyes on his grin. Omni continued onto the rest of his monologue, explaining the essentials, as he handed Nyeseth an orb that shone with all the colours of the rainbow. As Nyeseth touched the orb, it immediately absorbed itself into his body, causing him slight discomfort but settling after a couple of seconds.
‘That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.’ Omni grinned maniacally as he faded away, causing the darkness to fade to white, as if the world had been bleached. Nyeseth looked around at the area around him, it was hard to tell the difference between the sky and the horizon, making it difficult for Nyeseth to figure out where to go. Nyeseth noticed a fountain, the water triggering the return of his memories, the Soul Society, the Hollow invasion, Violet...
‘Violet!?’ Nyeseth called due to a knee jerk reaction after his memories of her returned to him.
‘Omni you bastard, is she here too!?’ Nyeseth called out, but with no response, his heart full of sadness.
Nyeseth began to examine himself, his standard shihakusho and white belt was intact, his zanpakuto was strapped to his left hip, his sandals were on his feet, where they should be. It seemed as if his death was rendered null and void, instead of his soul going through the reincarnation system, it was transported here, wherever here is. Nyeseth felt his face, his scar still where it was.
‘Well you could have healed my scar…’ Nyeseth sighed as he noticed something in the distance. It was as square, with light emanating from it, outlined with what appeared to be an archway of steel, it seemed like a gate, which was something he was familiar with. Nyeseth spun around to see another seven different gates, eight in total. Nyeseth had no idea where to go, so he picked a random gate and began to walk, hoping to find answers to all of his questions.
