Character name: Crono

Character source: Chrono Trigger

Character history:
Born in 983 A.D. to Gina and an unnamed father in the city of Truce, Crono quickly befriends a girl named Lucca. Seventeen years later, on the day of the Millennial Fair, Crono met his bride-to-be, Marle, though he did not know it at the time. Together, they enjoy the fair's festivities until the unveiling of Lucca's new invention, the Telepod. Always faithful to his friend, he agrees to test the device despite all dangers. The transportation is successful. However, when Marle tests it, she is sent back in time. Following her, Crono returns her to the Present and rescues her lost ancestor Queen Leene to ensure Marle's birth in that time period.

Returning Marle to Guardia Castle, her home, Crono is accused of kidnapping her in attempts to thwart the throne. Represented by Pierre in a trial, Crono is sentenced to death by the Chancellor, regardless of whether he is found guilty or not guilty. Lucca frees him seconds before he is brought to the Guillotine and together, they flee the Prison Towers. On their way to Guardia Forest, Marle tags along and the three travel to the Future via an open Gate. Investigating the area in search of a means to return home, Crono and his friends find food supplies for the inhabitants of Arris Dome, where he also meets his descendant Doan and learns that the ruined future was caused by Lavos. He vows to save the planet from destruction through the use of time-travel. Shortly after, he assist a robotic man named Robo in deactivating a Derelict Factory to find a way home.

Entering the Gate, he arrives at the End of Time where he receives magical abilities. With the aid of these powers and the powers of his allies, Crono successfully reforges the Masamune by acquiring Dreamstone in Prehistory and attempts to slay the Fiendlord, Magus, whom he believes is the root of Lavos's presence in the time line. This leads him back to Prehistory where helps the Iokans destroy the Reptites, thus securing the evolution and prosperity of the human race whose lives were jeopardized by these sentient lizards. Directly afterward, he realizes Lavos was not summoned by Magus, but is an alien species who fell from the sky in this time period. Attempting to follow the beast to the crater it created by landing, he is transported to the Antiquity era.

In the Antiquity era, he rescues Melchior from the Mountain of Woe and subsequently attempts to rescue Schala, the innocent Zeal Princess who is being exploited by her mother, Queen Zeal. When Crono confronts Lavos in the Ocean Palace of the Kingdom of Zeal as a result of the rescue mission, he sacrifices himself to save everyone present. With time travel, his friends manage to replace Crono in the moment before he dies with a clone received from the Millennial Fair in 1000 A.D., however, instead of returning to his friends, he ended in a different place somehow; he had arrived to the Omniverse.
Physical Description:

Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
SPD: 2
TEC: 4

Starting Proficiencies (2000): Physical Strength (1000), Debuff (1000)

Starting Powers (1900/8000): Master Acrobat (400), Foresight (1500)

Starting Moves (600):

Nameless Katana - 300 OM
(Requires P. Strength Proficiency)

The sharp weapon that Crono always keeps nearby at all times. The blade is pink and has a length of about 25 inches, while the hilt is of a gold color and has a blue cloth covering the handle. As mentioned before, the blade of this sword is quite sharp and made of a lightweight material that allows for fast, moderately-powered slashes. Cutting things like wood is no problem for this weapon and it can leave scratches on both boulders and steel, but it won't cut them until after several strikes.

Frenzy - 300 OM
(Requires P. Strength and Debuff Proficiency)

Crono's most powerful, non-magical, single technique. Using both his speed and swordsmanship, he leaps towards an opponent and lands next to them. Then, he circles around them by constantly sidestepping, confusing them as he also swings his weapon repeatedly against his target. Crono strikes a total of 5~7 times before he finally jumps away of the opponent. Although the damage output is decided by the weapon he's wielding, enemies will be left confused for about a minute or so, leaving them unable to target their attacks properly until it wears off. Crono will be left a tad exhausted for several seconds after this move is perform.

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Hello there and welcome to the Omniverse!

This move needs a drawback! Does swinging this sword around cause Crono fatigue? Of course it does! You need to include that in your move description.

Because you have stated that the damage output is variable, this technique would require an additional 300 OM to be added to the cost for each weapon he wields. As Crono only has one weapon at the moment, I would suggest making Frenzy specific to the Nameless Katana.

Also, leaving enemies "confused for about a minute or so" is a bit too long when this move is hardly draining for Crono. Maybe reduce this confusion time to ten seconds, stating that the Frenzy leaves them open to attack because of it! This makes it a lot more proportional to the fatigue time Crono experiences!

Can this technique be interrupted if an enemy has a higher TEC or SPD stat than Crono?

Cutting things like wood is no problem for this weapon and it can leave scratches on both boulders and steel, but it won't cut them until after several strikes. Due to its non-sturdy nature, however, it is recommended to use against thick armors or sturdy swords, as the katana might end up broken as a result.

Foes with a higher TEC than him can overcome the confusion though and even retailate with a move of their own. Crono strikes a total of 5~7 times before he finally jumps away of the opponent. Damage output for this attack is somewhat medium low, given the strength of his nameless katana is not that high. Enemies that fall under this move will be confused and dizzy for about ten seconds, leaving them unable to target their attacks properly until it wears off. Crono will be left a tad exhausted for several seconds after this move is perform.

This.... doesn't make sense to me. Where is the drawback?

Frenzy is great, thanks for making those changes!

Well, it's supposed to mean that the sword is fragile and breaks quite easily. Bad wording? Anyway, let me go with your previous suggestion.

Nameless Katana - 300 OM

Cutting things like wood is no problem for this weapon and it can leave scratches on both boulders and steel, but it can't cut them. Swinging the sword around causes fatigue to Crono, which is why he tends to not attack like crazy, keeping his average combo to 2~3 slashes at a time.
