Deja Vu
#21
Forsaken and Fades were all Greek to Neku. Honestly, he was glad to have a partner to work with, in a sense, though he doubted that the enemy was a Noise this time, or that the same rules applied as the UG. He did know that his enemy was a Reaper, though the fact that he specified Soul Reaper was a little odd, as was the fact that he hadn't shown his wings yet. When he'd first begun the Game, he would've been nervous about fighting a Reaper. Now, though, with Omni's bit about death not being the end and with his own experience, he had no qualms about the matter at all.

He raised his arms, crossing his right hand over his left wrist and activating the psychs on the pins. A blue glow formed around his arm, and he turned to tell Desco to run, only to see her floating slowly away... with tentacles and a tail? And a bunch of eyes everywhere? Focus, Neku. Raising his left arm, he called a bolt of lightning that extended from five feet to Nyeseth's right to ten feet on his left. The electric tether wasn't very thick, but if Nyeseth didn't dodge he'd be in for a world of hurt as Neku maintained the shock.

Nyeseth was confused, first Neku had accused him of being an enemy, and then Rand as well, but this time he was on his own. Well there was Desco, but he didn’t think she’d be up for a fight right now, and besides, he had to protect her.

Desco, get out of-’ Nyeseth began as he turned to see Desco floating away with a strange creature behind her.

Well then…’ He said as he noticed the electricity that Neku had summoned. It was wide, and heading straight for him. If he didn’t dodge, he’d be hit, and getting electrocuted wasn’t on Nyeseth’s bucket list.

Nyeseth began to run to his right before realising that he wasn’t moving fast enough. The electricity was closing in on him fast, he had to move faster otherwise he’d be hit. Nyeseth flash stepped hoping he’d dodge the attack. After realising that he’d made it just outside the electricity’s range, Nyeseth wiped his forehead clean of sweat.

Phew! That was close!’ Nyeseth exclaimed as he looked back at Neku and Rand. Rand hadn’t made a move yet, but he could still see the caution on his face.

I don’t know why you’re attacking me, Soul Reaper’s are the good guys!’ Nyeseth exclaimed as he began to move towards Neku.
Nyeseth didn’t want to, because it would tire him out, but to close the distance between the two before Neku could react, he’d have to use his flash Step. After closing in on Neku, Nyeseth noticed that he was only a few feet away, Nyeseth Drew his sword in preparation for his own attack.

Now try and guard against my Flash Strike!’ Nyeseth exclaimed as he began his attack. He would try and hit Neku as many times as possible out of the ten he could muster in one go, but he didn’t know how skilled Neku was, it was a gamble at best.

"Yeah, good guys. That's why you were erasing Players and trying to brainwash Shibuya." It looked like Rand was taking stock of what he could still do; he didn't move to intervene as Nyeseth rushed Neku faster than most beings have a right to move. Still, he wasn't as fast as Pi-face. Neku had time to form a blade of wind from the Tin Pin Blade on his wrist, and the sword met Nyeseth's, but the Reaper could keep up the speed a lot longer than Pi-face. He managed to block one, two, three of the hits, and a reflexive twitch brought him out of the way of the fourth and fifth, but the black-robed Reaper just kept coming.

Neku managed to catch the next two hits on his right arm; his pins were all on his left, and that's the arm he needed to use them with. The steel hurt, though not as much as a Mosh Grizzly's claws. It's probably sharper, Neku thought grimly. He dashed backwards out of the way of the rest, the twirl that allowed him to keep an eye on his opponent coming naturally after weeks of practice. Almost without thinking, Neku spun the dial on his headphones while he whirled, cranking the volume as the track changed. That's better. He flung his left hand skyward and a flash of bright blue, freezing cold light formed around Nyeseth; a 3-foot diameter circle that gave way to a rising stalagmite of ice a mere half-second later. "Do all you Reapers name your attacks? Is it like a security blanket or something?" The sarcasm was mostly to distract himself from his right arm; the cuts burned like the sword had been made of fire. He'd need to do something about those. If only he still had the Visionary Blend pin.

Quote:This is what Neku's listening to.

Nyeseth was astounded at Neku’s skill, he’d only managed to land two hits, and on his right arm, as if he was protecting the left one. The cuts were average, Nyeseth, with his centuries of training, could tell that they weren’t deep, but also not shallow. Neku had dashed out of the way, looking at Rand, who still hadn’t moved, before raising his arm to the air as blue light engulfed Nyeseth.
Erasing players? What are you talking about?’ Nyeseth responded in a confused manner to Neku’s seemingly angry comment.

At this time, Neku had thrown a taunt at Nyeseth, saying the name of his move was merely a security blanket.
It’s probably a diversion tactic.’ Nyeseth thought to himself as he realised the blue light was getting colder and colder. As Nyeseth saw the pillar erupt from the ground, he dashed to the right, but he was too late, and before he knew it, the pillar of ice had caught his legs and thrown him into the air.

Gahh!’ Nyeseth howled as he crashed into the stark white ground of the nexus, his sword still in hand. As Nyeseth raised his head, he saw that Neku had become partially distracted, probably by the cuts on his arm.

If I aim for his left arm, I might stop him from attacking.’ Nyeseth whispered to himself as he slowly got to his feet. His legs had become cold and they throbbed with pain, Neku had definitely done some damage, but Nyeseth had been in far worse positions.
‘It’s not going to be as fast, but he hasn’t got his full attention on the fight, if I get there fast enough, I can get his left arm.’ Nyeseth said to himself as he initiated his high speed movement. A bee line right to Neku.

As Nyeseth ran towards him, as fast as he could considering the damage he’d sustained to his legs, Neku’s attention had returned, and he was already preparing his guard.
I just need to damage his left arm somehow!’ Nyeseth thought strongly to himself as he let out a couple of strikes at Neku’s left arm, hoping for a hit.

Rand had been quietly observing both his opponent and his apparent ally. In doing so he had arrived at several conclusions. First of all, Neku could apparently use the One Power or something similar at the least. Second, the Soul Reaper had incredible speed. Third, Neku's left arm required protection for some reason of another. Finally, the Soul Reaper had arrived at the third conclusion as well and was now preparing attack Neku's left arm.

Rand found himself wishing he could channel in order weave a flaming heron-marked sword into existence. As he did so he found himself gripping something and upon looking down he found the sword of white-hot flames in his right hand.

Rand felt his mouth forming into a smirk. He then stepped in between "Nyeseth" and Neku and prepared to block the blows the Soul Reaper was getting ready to unleash upon the boy's left arm. Rand observed the movements of the shadowspawn and blocked the Soul Reaper's various sword attacks. "Now shadowspawn, prepare to meet your fate at the hands of the Dragon Reborn." He then unleashed several attacks with his own flaming sword. He tried to be inconsistent with the swings of his white-hot sword. He attacked high, right, left, high, low, left, and finally aimed a strong swing towards the humanoid creature's rib cage.

Desco charged into the fight as fast as her little floating ability could take her. Yogsothoth floated slightly above her as her body moved horizontal to the ground, her tail and Yogsothoth's lower tentacles waving and flowing with the wind. She took little notice of Guu, who was doubtless easily walking behind Desco trying to charge. Desco was a Final Boss, even de-leveled she still had to have some power! She had to help the nice guy that talked her and fighting would give her more experience and would help to regain what she had lost. Killing two Prinnies by throwing another Prinny. As she approached she saw that the nice guy was under attack. The two were moving together but not quite meshed together, ice being cast at Mr. Samurai and melee attacks slashing at him while he countered with his own katana. The others hadn't noticed her yet, floating above the ground made little sound and they were focused and countering eachother's attacks, so Desco got in as close as she could. She approached the one not slashing at the Samurai guy who Desco first met here. The weird knight guy had stepped forward to attack. Perhaps Desco could take the second out of the equation and take his attention. Then she would look to get Rand's attention too, after all a Final Boss fights three or four heroes at once and not just one!

Desco stopped and balanced on her tail for a moment, then floated up a bit and swung her tail forward, looking almost like she was sitting on it. The power from the swing could be heard as it pushed the air aside. The situation went through her mind, the Final Battle wasn't always the only time the Final Boss showed up. This was an early battle, when the Final Boss would strike down weak heroes in attempt to force them to adventure to gain power and face off against the Final Boss much later. She had to make herself known to the heroes and taunt them! "Desco came back to help the nice guy that talked to Desco! Prepare yourself to fight an overwhelming demonic power you have not seen before! The unstoppable abomination and Final Weapon, Desco!" The little demon girl rebalanced herself on her tail and, from 10 feet away, bent herself back as she reared up, Yogsothoth's top two tentacles stretching up and becoming bigger. The tentacles opened their maw's showing the red void inside and then lashed forward, stretching and attempting to bite into Neku's body.

Guu follows Desco until she is a safe distance from the battle.
Her eyes become wide and innocent, tears streaming down her face, watching intensely as if the outcome of the battle mattered the world to her.

Neku had a fairly open mind with regards to fighting. He expected a lot of things. Grafitti dragons, killer frogs, evil pigs.

This? This was a whole new level of strange.

Neku was trying to line up a shot past Rand to get to Nyeseth, but the two were basically occupying the same space at this point. The girl, Desco, that he had talked to earlier had returned and seemed to be taking the Reaper's side of the fight. Two tentacles swung at Neku, and he dashed out to the side, putting some distance between himself and the girl. "Desco, what are you doing? He's a Reaper! He's probably working with Omni, playing games with us just like Reapers always do!" Neku directed another bolt of lightning; this one behind Nyeseth. He sustained the tether this time; a diagonal bar of electricity that would deliver a shock if Rand could back the Reaper up into it. "Get out of here, Desco! I don't want to hurt you!"

Rand’s attacks had been inconsistent, but clunky, Nyeseth had been able to block the first four strikes, but his legs were still cold and this caused him to flinch a little, leaving an opening for Rand to strike him with his fifth attack, a gash to his left arm. As Nyeseth stumbled back he realized that Rand had made one more attack, a direct attack at his ribs. If Nyeseth didn’t block, it would mean the end of him.

Nyeseth placed his left hand at the tip of his blade and blocked the blow with the flat side of his sword, the force of the attack pushed him backwards, sliding across the ground on his feet, still in his defensive stance.

You have quite the power behind your attacks, but you’re nothing Compared to Kenpachi Zaraki.’ Nyeseth said as he dropped his left arm and held his sword up with his right, the gash that Rand had managed to create stung, but if he didn’t keep fighting, it would mean certain death.
Nyeseth clashed with Rand over and over, he wasn’t particularly fast but, he could anticipate Nyeseth’s attacks. As their swords clashed, Nyeseth looked past Rand to see Desco attacking Neku. Desco didn’t know about his left arm, he had to let her know.
Desco, incapacitate his left arm!’ Nyeseth shouted as he felt Rand trying to push him backwards. Nyeseth turned his head slightly to see a large, diagonal bar of lightning behind him, and Rand was pushing him towards it.

If I touch that, I’m done for.’ Nyeseth thought to himself as Rand kept pushing him backwards, they weren’t close, and there was still a few metres to go. Nyeseth had to make a move, and fast.
I can’t let Desco fight Neku on her own. I know what I have to do.’ Nyeseth thought to himself as he moved the weight off of his feet, Rand began to push him faster but it was no use, Nyeseth sidestepped away from Rand and then behind him.

Now take this!’ Nyeseth exclaimed out of desperation as he kicked Rand in the back, pushing him towards the lightning. It was a long shot, and he didn’t think it’d work, but at least he could rush over to help Desco now.
Desco I’m coming! Don’t forget to attack his left arm!’ Nyeseth yelled as he made a dash for it, unsure of Rand’s condition.

Desco stopped for a moment as Neku had evaded her attack. She frowned, and withdrew her tentacles, snapping back into place. Then he spoke something about him being a Reaper. He had said it himself after all. He is a Soul Reaper. Some kind of variant to the Reaper race though, as he was human shaped, and they worked for themselves like all Demons. They were related to Emizel, though none worked for Death. At least not anymore, since Emizel is a weakling coward who was only starting to learn true strength. Besides, this guy was as lost as the rest of those here. "If he were the enemy, he wouldn't be nice to Desco!" Not unless he was really evil anyway, but that might not be such a bad thing either to Desco unless he really was with Omni. That guy who stole her power, and his power, and probably others. Did he think he would be the Final Boss here?

Desco charged her fast enemy, tentacles waving in the air, her charge not nearly as quick as he was, but he was distracted trying to attack his enemy while dealing with an attacker. At least for someone who had an ally to not strike in the fight it took time to aim accurately and strike an enemy. She floated along the flat white ground and as she got close the two tentacles that attacked before reached out again. But this time, the distance was different, Desco wanted to strike as quickly as possible. She leaned forward and floated fully parallel to the ground. The tentacles stretched out to 10 feet as Neku had seen, then one stopped and the other kept going out up to her maximum range of 20 feet. The tentacle aimed for his left arm as Mr. Samurai had suggested. If it struck and latched on, the second would push forward to follow up with another strike on one of his legs.

Neku wasn't exactly thrilled with the way things were going. Desco was back in the middle of things, and taking the Reaper's side to boot. Rand got outmaneuvered and Neku had to cut the lightning tether before Nyeseth could force the man into it. It looked like Rand could use some psychs Neku hadn't seen before; that sword of fire was pretty nice. He backpedaled as Desco's tentacles reached out for him, repressing the instinct to attack and dashing backwards and to one side.

Those things had a lot of reach.

The tentacle reached out and slapped Neku in the chest, latching on like a gigantic octopus, but with teeth. The other one flung itself forward, sweeping Neku's legs out from under him. He gave the attached limb a hard shove as he fell, freeing himself from that mouth with a sound of tearing clothing and skin. A not-insignificant amount of blood decorated the flat ground as Neku hit, wincing and yelling in pain and noticing Nyeseth closing in fast. He spoke to Desco as he rolled to his feet, already activating the psych on his Black Jupiter and Black Uranus pins. "Desco, this doesn't concern you! Get out of here! It isn't safe to be around a Reaper!"

The teen, forced to use arm motions to keep his concentration, slashed upward through the air with his left arm, trying to lead Nyeseth with the pillar of ice that he was summoning. Then, he swept the arm diagonally down, sending a bolt of lightning from behind Nyeseth to just next to Neku. He didn't bother sustaining the psych this time, instead backpedaling to keep both the Reaper and Desco in sight. "Getting little girls to fight for you? That's just low, even for a Reaper." The situation reminded him of when Shiki had been possessed by Kitaniji, and the memory made his blood boil. He'd paid the Conductor back for that, and he wasn't going to let some Harrier in a kimono get the best of him.

Nyeseth had watched Desco attack, he’d thought she’d been a simple little girl, but no, she was some sort of demon, but she was on his side, and that was all he needed to know… for now. Nyeseth was running, and fast as he watched the tentacles extend from her and attacked Neku. She’d managed to do some damage, but Neku’s reluctance to fight a little girl was what attributed to that, but, it was an advantage she had over him.

As Nyeseth approached, he’d noticed that Neku had once again, turned to him, he could see the blue circle of light that signalled the ice pillar, side stepping around what had tripped him up last time. But what had caught him off guard was the Electricity. Nyeseth didn’t realise that Neku could use his abilities within such a short time of each other. As the electricity materialised, Nyeseth held up his blade to defend from it, but it was no use, the electricity had already passed by him, dispersing as it did so, causing Nyeseth to fall to his knees.

The electricity had burnt his clothing and his skin, and it had electrocuted him to the point of bringing to his knees, unable to move for a couple of seconds. Nyeseth looked up as he saw Neku move backwards as to keep the two of them in sight, Nyeseth and Desco. Nyeseth didn’t know who Neku was, but he was a skilled fighter. Nyeseth got to his feet, the electrical burn on his left side stung, but he had to fight through the pain. Nyeseth used his Flash Step to reach Desco quickly, standing in front of her and getting between the two of them as Neku shouted at him.

I’m not getting her to fight for me, she has chosen to fight with me.’ Nyeseth responded as he gripped the sword with both hands and held it up in front of him.

He didn’t want Desco to get hurt, and he’d realised that Neku didn’t want to hurt Desco either, this was something that the two had in common, however, he’d assumed that if Desco kept assaulting Neku, he would think he had no choice, and Nyeseth wasn’t going to let that happen. There was only one thing he could do. Omni had apparently taken away most of his abilities, and this had deprived him of his shikai, which would have given him an upper hand here, but he’d adapted.

Flash strike is all I have…’ Nyeseth thought to himself as he judged his energy, and how much he had left.

I can do it, I can do it…’ Nyeseth thought to himself as he initiated his flash step towards Neku. Neku had already anticipated this, getting his guard up, and the damage Nyeseth had made had made him significantly slower than the last time.

Flash Strike!’ Nyeseth yelled as he began to move around Neku, striking at him. Neku seemed much faster this time, or maybe Nyeseth was just slower, but he began to move out of the way of Nyeseth’s strikes, dodging the first two by side stepping out of the way, the next two strikes missed because of Nyeseth, the electrical burn had caused him to completely miss, strikes six, seven and eight were dodged as Neku simply moved backwards out of the way. Strike nine had cut the shirt just under his right arm as Nyeseth felt his energy drain.

I need to get his left arm!’ Nyeseth thought to himself as the hope of landing an attack had begun to fade. A desperate thought as Nyeseth moved in close for his last attack, he sliced at Neku’s left arm leaving a vertical cut along his fore arm. Nyeseth moved backward, out of Neku’s range and Back to Desco, disappointed that he’d only managed one cut on Neku.

Nyeseth stood there in front of Desco with his sword readied, blood dripping from his left arm, courtesy of Rand, an electrical burn on his left side and aching legs, courtesy of Neku. His face looked as though he was struggling to keep his eyes open. Nyeseth was tired, but he had to stay alert, for himself... and for Desco.

Desco's tentacles hit the mark and tore into Neku, but he still didn't understand. Desco was encouraged by her strike, he dealt a strong attack. She was still strong, if not as strong as the Magnificent Final Boss was then still as strong as a Demon and these guys would be no trouble for her. Desco had her confidence to fight, but Neku just tried to get her to run, to protect her. Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy. Mr. Samurai however was in bad straights, taking attacks from the knight person and this guy. This wasn't how things were supposed to go at all! Nyeseth got in front of her. The bottom two tentacles of Yogsothoth reached forward and pulled Nyeseth off his feet and backward, under Desco and behind her. A rough ride for sure, the surprised Soul Reaper tried to exclaim but Desco looked back at him.

"Its not fair, Desco is fighting now. You stand back Mr. Samurai, Desco will fight!" Yogsothoth's tentacles let go and snapped back onto him. She looked out at Neku and she swung her tail forward as before, growing to twice its size that held her up and in a position to suggest that he come at her. She didn't want them to fight anymore, and he didn't seem like such a bad guy either. "Desco is a Final Boss, a Demon from Hades! If you want to keep fighting, you fight Desco!" Desco's tail withdrew back to supporting her and she leaned forward, Yog's top two tentacles opening up and lashing forward into the air, making a loud snap as they closed. "But you seem like a nice person too, why don't we stop?"

At some point during the battle, she took into account what the combatants were saying and developed a plan. She took a few minutes to focus.
As Desco stood between Neku and Nyeseth, Guu’s voice rang over the three of them.
“Middle school my dear Desco,” Guu said. “This looks like a case for Junior Detective Guu!”
Guu walks up next to Desco, her social face still active, however she’s wearing a stereotypical Sherlock Holmes hat and shawl, complete with bubble pipe. She speaks with a soft and gentle voice but still keeps an authoritative tone; like a child pretending to be an adult.
“Now I heard Carrot Top over there doesn’t like the other guy because he’s a Reaper.” She continued. “However, I’ve never seen Reapers where I’m from nor have I’ve ever seen any demons where I’m from. And considering the position I’ve held, I would have heard of them and they would have heard of me.”
She points towards Nyeseth.
“He kept going on about powers I’ve never heard of and so have you Carrot Top. Clearly you all work under completely different rules, which tells me we are all from completely different universes.”
She turns to Neku.
“To me, when I call you Carrot Top, I think of the comedian, however I existed in the world where the comedian exists. The word probably has a completely different meaning to you.”
She walks up to Neku and looks him straight in the eyes.
“So maybe when that guy over there said he was a Reaper, maybe he meant something completely different. Think hard, has he shown any of the characteristics of the beings you hate so much?”
She struts back towards Desco with a confident look on her face.
“From this I deduce, that this is a classic case of misunderstanding. Case closed!”
She stands next to Desco and goes back to making deceptively adorable faces while listening intently.

Desco turned to look at Guu, she said something very curious. Never seen demons before? Desco thought about what kinds of places that would be. Demons were all over Earth even though humans covered up their existence. Well, they were supposed to be everywhere but the corrupterment was doing a bad job of managing things and demons scaring humans was a job that was only starting to recover since they overturned the corrupterment. There was only one place she think of that might be Demon free and that was Celesitia. Though Desco would actually be wrong about that because Prinnies are all over Celestia. But Desco nodded to Guu as she finished up her detective work. Guu seemed really smart, maybe Desco could play detective sometime..."So yea!"

As soon as he had returned to standing in front of Desco, Nyeseth had been thrown to the ground but her tentacles and shouted at. He was down now, on his back looking up at both Desco and Neku.If they break out into a fight now, he’d be of no use, he had already spent most of his energy. Luckily though, Desco had proposed a cease fire, a means of ending this fight.

Nyeseth smiled as he watched Desco defend him, or rather, tried to prove her usefulness to herself. Four hundred years had made him wise, he could recognise how someone felt just by observing their actions. He also saw the naivety in her statement, hoping that maybe they’d all become friends. Neku’s hate for ‘Reapers’ was something that had developed over time, a few words were not enough to sway him.

Nyeseth watched as yet another little girl entered the Fray, this time, it was a small girl with light pink hair and huge eyes, much like Nyeseth had seen in Anime. It was oddly confusing when she started making conclusions about this world and how each of them came from a separate universe. Nyeseth watched as she walked right to left and back again, speaking and making conclusions, ending up next to Desco.

Nyeseth sat up as much as he could, looking at the two girls and then at Neku. The fight was definitely over. Nyeseth was tired, and he could see it in Neku’s face as well. This little girl’s deductions had made sense, it was clear that she had been observing the fight. Hopefully what she had said, made sense to Neku as well.

Now I have two people I need to protect.’ Nyeseth whispered to himself as he fell back down to the ground, his right hand still gripping his sword as he looked up at the stark whiteness. He had exhausted himself, and the injuries weren’t helping. He just wanted to leave, heal up and then roll out. He’d take Desco and her friend with him, but he had to see if she was here, look for her maybe. If he was brought here, then she might have been as well.

Rand woke up in extreme confusion. A little girl with pink hair was presently spouting some strange stuff about middle school, calling Neku "Carrot Top", and concluding that this was all a misunderstanding. That was nice and all but...

"So let me get this straight none of you work for The Dark One?" He asked still extremely skeptical,"Nor a Forsaken or as you may know them The Chosen?"

"Because if any of you work for them, then we are enemies of the highest order for I am the Dragon Reborn," he said trying to provoke a response in any of them that may be shadowspawn or dark friends. "If none of you are then I suggest we go our different ways."

Neku didn't have any idea what was going on here. A little detective-looking girl with a bubble pipe walked up to him and pointed out that they were all operating under different rules, though he did actually have a vague idea of who Carrot Top was. The comparison was pretty frequent, even in Japan. Her logic was pretty sound, especially since Nyeseth had fought without revealing his wings for even a short time, which he'd never seen a Reaper do. He was still pissed, but the girl's calm reason helped him to stop himself for a minute and take a deep breath. It helped a little bit. At the very least, if he was an actual Reaper, one of the ones that ran the Game, Desco wasn't going to let him do anything about it.

Before he could say anything calm and rational, Rand woke up. That lightning bolt had really done a number on him. Neku winced in sympathy. Then he started spouting some nonsense about a Dark One and him being a Dragon. "Well, this just makes me believe Dame Edna over there even more. I have no idea what you're talking about." The comedian reference seemed like an apt rebuttal for the "Carrot Top" thing. "But I can definitely agree on going separate ways."

The redhead turned to face Nyeseth, still seething slightly but much more composed. "Maybe you aren't a Reaper, or at least, not one of the ones I'm familiar with. Maybe you are. I don't care." He knelt down to Desco's level, trying to sound a little more chipper for the kid's sake, despite the fact that she probably wasn't a normal kid. "I don't know why you're defending him, but I'm on your side, too. If he hurts you, find me and I'll kick his butt for you." He stood back up and, giving Nyeseth a final glare, turned and started walking towards one of the Gates. He called over his shoulder as he walked away; "I mean it, Reaper. One scratch on her and we'll find out if Omni was telling the truth about death."

Man, it felt good to be the one delivering threats to some kind of Reaper after three weeks of taking it from them. Even if it wasn't the right kind of Reaper.
#39
Desco nodded and smiled. The kid and the knight were strange and though Desco met them first now she was hanging out with Mr. Samurai and Guu who was swimming in the fountain earlier. Desco felt a little confused but a little warm at the defensive postures that Neku and Nyeseth had been making over her. "Desco doesn't know who those people are, Sir Knight. Desco doesn't work for anyone, she helps Big Bro and Big Sis."

It didn't occur to Desco to talk about them in any more detail. Big Bro was the Tyrant Overlord and head Prinny Instructor. He had overturned the Corrupterment, and with Desco and friends saved the Earth and the Netherworld. While Big Sis was just an ordinary girl that was reincarnated now so Desco didn't know where her soul had gone. But if she was still here, she would continue to believe that everything was a dream and Desco would do anything she asked.

The two little girls with the Soul Reaper wandered off from Rand and Neku.
