Quote: “My name is Omni. This is not the world you know. This is the Omniverse. You interest me, so I have made you part of it. The Omniverse is a place that reflects the wishes of those who are part of it. But! There are rules. I will explain them only once, so listen carefully.”What a scene that was. Bruce opened his eyes and found himself in a vast white area, not the other lab where he had his standoff with Superman. That machine Lex build was suppose to transport the heroes from the parallel earth to their own, something must have gone horribly wrong.
Omni hands you a glimmering orb in which all the colors of the rainbow coalesce. “This is Omnilium. It’s what ties the Omniverse together. Without it, you are nothing. With it, anything you desire can be yours. But you will need more than this. If you desire it enough, you will find it. You will find that using it comes naturally. Just think of what you desire most.
“You will not be alone in the Omniverse. There are others. Of course, they, too desire Omnilium. Do not fear death. For as long as you interest me, you will be reborn.
“That’s all you need to know right now. You’ll figure out the rest soon enough. I’ll be watching … and waiting.”
He carefully observed the nearby area, if the machine brought him here, it may also have brought the others. "No-one nearby, best case scenario would be Clark and the others got separated, -if- they were brought to the same dimension I was." His thoughts were going through ideas, attempting to make sense of it all. Last thing that happened before he stood eye to eye with this Omni character was Barbara activating the dimensional transporter, hoping to get backup from a parallel earth to fight Clark's death squad and the dictator himself. Something must've gone wrong. Bruce activated his communication device within his helmet, "Barbara, Kate, can you hear me?" His message was followed by static. "Barbara, Kate?" Another futile attempt, it seemed his com was down. Either that or, he was indeed no longer with his allies in his home dimension.
" If Omni was speaking the truth and this is another world, things would become even more complicated than they already are. With a new player like Omni on the board things will change drastically. That is, if Clark and the others were brought here as well. I need to get my bearings, where I am and how to get back."
The caped crusader went through several different scenario's in his head, none of which sat all too well with him. Especially how the white childlike creature suggested Bruce wasn't alone, that there were others like him. Did he mean prisoners in this world or simply inhabitants. Many questions unanswered. It was not for him, being in the dark like this. He had to get moving and obtain as much information about this place as possible. Even though he hated to admit it, he could use the help of John Constantine right about now, that jackass has more experience with these kind of things. Without much more delay he started to move, without any clue as where he was or where he was heading towards he started his journey in the Omniverse.
Around him he noticed several small structures far away, he could even tell one of these structures had several individuals with it. "lets avoid people for now" He headed in the opposite direction.
In the far distance Bruce notices one of the gates, that are located in the nexus, getting closer. It took him hours before even getting close to one of the gates. During his long walk he noticed other characters passing through the vastness of white. When he came close to one of the gates he noticed two white masked individuals approach him from his right, Bruce tried to ignore them and move along, yet the patrol addressed him, "Halt, who goes there?" One of the stormtroopers called out to him. Bruce tried to ignore it and go on his way. He was stopped by a hand placed upon his shoulder, "I said, Halt!"
With a swift move Bruce grabbed the stormtroopers hand and threw him over his shoulder, incapacitating him on the ground. He looked over his shoulder towards his partner who got his rifle ready and aimed. "Who are you?!" The patrolman asked.
With his deep rough voice he simply replied, "I'm Batman.."
