Interested in getting involved in designing content for the Omniverse?
Please be aware that when I say 'content,' I don't mean grandiose events. Everyone always has grandiose ideas, but what I'm looking for are people who can help make the world feel more alive. This means helping to create content in the form of unique or repeatable quests, along with NPCs and areas.
As part of this, I'm taking applications to become a 'Story Aide'. What's that?
->What about Story Guides/the Storyteller?
A Story Guide has access to the Storyteller account, which they can use to write approved storylines, deal with situations in the main verses ('dropping the hammer' on people who make awful choices in public spaces), to host Storyteller events, or simply at the request of a writer ('hey can someone write this NPC for me?')
A Story Aide with a successful track record may start to design and then write their own ‘Storyteller’ storyline. This will be posted in the R&D forum.
Once a Story Aide completes this thread, they become a Story Guide.
->What does this do for me?
Aside from help you partake in content design, the Story Aide, like the Judge, should be someone who is well-read. Being well-read, able to process threads, evaluating for bounties, and generally having a good knowledge of at least some aspect of the IC world is 90% of being a Sprite.
->How do I sign up?
If you're interested, you need to send me 2 quests (they can have any difficulty you desire). What you send me must follow the Quest template we use. Bonus points for Frozen Fields, Camelot, and the Vasty Deep.
Write those quests up and PM them to me.
->I have a question...
Ask it here.

Staff Forum Alex Wrote:A Story Aide is part of the Story Guide user group
The primary role of a Story Aide is to collaborate with other Story Aides to:
DO: Help create New Content for existing verses. This can fall under the umbrella of designing sub-zones, secondary or prime NPCs, or storylines
DO: Create new Quests – This can run the range from more open-ended repeatable quests to unique quests that give out rewards or special items or whatnot
DO: Help Story Guides/the staff flesh out Storyteller threads and Storyteller 'responses' to in-world events
DO: Help make the world feel more fluid and dynamic on the local-level.
DO NOT: Create grandiose quests with artefacts and world-shattering stuff
DO NOT: Feel the need to like, fundamentally alter existing status quo
DO NOT: Design giant sagas or other stuff
Story Aides have to provide some form of content in a given time period or they're removed. I'm more than happy to micro-manage this group of people, with the intention of working until a team of dedicated and energized writers/rpers can be found. They're out there, I know it!
