Red and Hammer Return
#1
Thor pulled his companion through the gate. His abrupt landing from his zooming flight forced the earth beneath his feet to move, leaving skid marks in the dirt path from the gate. The Knights and their mounts made it through next. Thor and Red Hood turned to face the gates, weapons readied for the soldiers of the Empire to come marching through the gate. The Night Elf emerged on horse back with the soldiers that had lost their horses. She had rallied them to her and led them to safety once retreat had been called for.

"At ease primes the Empire's goons will not follow us. They have been tricked one too many times into giving us the home field advantage and it has left them with a bad taste in their mouths."

Thor had lowered his Hammer at the sight of his allies, but when he looked at Red he saw the battle lust still burned in his eyes. The God put a heavy hand on his friends shoulder. Soft enough to show concern but firm enough to give the massive warrior advantage should he need to take hold of his comrade. The Night Elf took note of the action and took hold of her sword.

"You primes of the Kingdom, are you not?" She spoke wearily.

Thor stepped forward. "Yes. We are sworn to the service of Aragorn, king of Camelot."

"Good, You can fly and you are a prime. Can you construct a flying contraption that can carry our wounded?"

"Yes." Thor nodded

"Good. I will leave them with you. When you get to Minas Tirith find Vimes and let him know we are on our way." With that the Elf left with the rest of her troop that was still mounted.

Thor brought forth his Orb and began to summon.

Rather hesitantly Red Hood finally lowered his guns he had been pointing at the Camelot gate that led to the nexus where their enemies hid. He had hoped that they would be foolish enough to follow them through the gate, he planned to drop them one by one as they disoriently walked through. However they clearly were too cowardly to rise to the challenge.

Red took a deep breath in. The smell of Camelot's intoxicating aroma filled his lungs. He was home. As probably the only lone survivor of the attack on Death Mountain he felt pride fill his heart as he turned to Thor and watch him begin to summon done some of transport for the wounded soldiers who had joined their earlier skirmish.

Even if he had survived the fight with Volvagia it was clear it wasn't that much of a feat since Thor stood before him, somehow perfectly healthy. He had mentioned that within the Omniverse death has no hold on him, the words of the smiling one rang through his head, a comment he had forgotten and truthfully hadn't paid much attention to in his confused state apon entering the Omniverse. At any rate it didn't matter, Red was glad to see the face of his lost comrade once again, he knew that together they would accomplish great things. Even if he wasn't sure yet what that would be.

Red finally holstered his weapons, figuring that no immediate danger was around them. He walked over to one of the injured soldiers, blood dripping rapidly from a wound at his side. He grasped the man's hand looking intently into his eyes.

"Don't worry, we are going to get you help, just hang in there." Red said with feigned confidence. The man gave a weak smile and nodded.

"Thor, how much longer?"
You can't stop crime. That's what you never understood. I'm controlling it. You wanna rule them by fear, but what do you do with the ones who aren't afraid? I'm doing what you won't, I'm taking them out.
