Let's say I want to make a ghost character in the Omniverse. Ghosts normally do not interact with other entities in the real world, so in order to simulate this...
If a ghost has a high defense, let's say 5, then attacks will generally go through it UNLESS it does damage, in which case it hits it like any normal prime. A weak attack from someone with Atk = 1 will go through it, but a slice of a sword from an enemy with Atk = 5 will slice it like a normal person.
Weak attack + Your Def is 5 + Their Atk is 1 = They phase through you
Average sword slice + Your Def is 5 + Their Atk is 5 = Ghost gets cut
Similarly, if the attack barely does squat, the ghost just kinda phases through the enemy. The same example applies, but replace the enemy with the ghost and vice versa.
Weak attack + Their Def is 5 + Your Atk is 1 = You phase through them
Average attack + Their Def is 5 + Your Atk is 5 = They get hurt
Would this be applicable or would it violate the basic laws of the Omniverse? It still allows people to do damage in the same way it would hurt a guy with armor, but instead of stopping on or bouncing off the armor, it just goes through them instead.
(also sorry for all the questions I just like asking off-the-wall questions spontaneously)
