Classpect: Sylph of Hope

Analysis:
Alright so the Sylph of Hope. Sylphs, at their base, are healers of their aspect, and hope is all about faith and positivism. With this, it makes sense that close to 100% of the time, the Sylph will have an optimistic outlook, no matter how shitty or grim things become. The Sylph would be fierce in their beliefs, pushing themselves and others towards their goals. Although they will not have direct healing ability, it is possible that they might be able to heal through simply giving the other enough faith that it is so. Believing that the wounds are cured with the Sylph would be enough for it to become a reality. At first, the sylph will be very passive, taking a more supportive role in the start of the session, helping and believing in others, before becoming increasingly headstrong and pushing others to do what they believe in. An extreme ability that they may possess is the ability of swaying the death of a god-tier player.

Relations:
People you will get along with: Now that Joker has switched his character to a Witch, your relation to his character will have drastically changed. Now that his character isn't inherently destroying the aspect, Light,  you share a connection with, you are gonna be a lot better friends. In fact, with also being a Witch, you two will have a great understanding of each other, possibly becoming the bestest of friends in the session. They very much compliment each other and will often have each others' backs.

People you wont get along with:  You won't be really getting along with the Prince of Life, mostly because of conflicting beliefs and ideals. Perhaps, when you are near each other, you will feel slightly uncomfortable and won't ever go out of your way to reach him unless in dire circumstances. Overall you will tend to avoid him.

Everyone else: Your relationships with everyone else will be quite good, possibly taking a liking more to the Maid of Heart, or even trying to encourage the Mage of Doom. One person you might want to try to help is the Bard, believing WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT that he can stay sane and help you guys out.

Classpect: Knight of Space

Analysis:
Alright, so you are gonna have a tough role. That much is gonna be obvious, since usually its the Space player and the Knight of the session that help with the Genesis Frog(this will be explained at a later time), which means you gotta do all that shit on your own. However, you also have to juggle with being the protector of the group, though some other roles might be able to help in that. In addition, knights also have a HUGE impact on the session. Whatever their aspect is, there is a lack of it in their session. For Dave there was a lack of time, and for Karkat, a lack of stability between all the trolls relationships(Blood). For this session, there will be a lack of Space. This may not be as bad as it sounds, but it just means that everything is gonna probably be.... smaller. Smaller planets, smaller moons, less area to cover. In fact, this might even be a benefit to you and the rest of the players, but we cant be sure quite yet.

But back to your specifics as a Knight of Space. The whole being the Knight and the Space player is going to make you a unique case. Knights are proficient at protecting with and exploiting their aspect, using it as a defense or weapon. Before you become god tier, this will manifest in small ways. You are basically the master of improvising, using whatever materials you have in order to overcome your impatience and using the objects around you to accomplish your goals. You will most likely be into some type of fashion or art, as you are quite creative. Now, in addition to this, you are also heavily in charge of the Genesis Frog, so you will most likely adapt your weapons and your abilities to these amphibians, though how much is most likely up to you.  You will also be quite fast, as you are able to move through Space with ease, and will most likely be able to use a variety of weaponry to your expertise. You will also tend to be dissatisfied with yourself, even if what you did was actually pretty great.

Relations:
People you will get along with:  As being a player that starts rather strong, you will most likely be wanting to help out the Page of Breath, since they will be starting out weak. This is more of of a choice for you, as often time the Knight will be caught of with other things instead of catering to the Page, and you have quite a bit on your list as the Knight and Space Player.

People you wont get along with: You are probably gonna hate the bard. Not like, aggressive hate, but like dread hate, since he is going to be the biggest threat of what you want to protect, and you will probably do whatever it takes to keep him in check.

Another person you probably wont get along with is the Prince of Life. However, you will most likely make it clear that as long as his focus is on the enemy, you wont have any problems.

Everyone else:  You are gonna be known as the guy that adapts to any situation, so your relationships with others are often gonna be spontaneous, and people who like that are gonna be friendly with you. Page of Breath will most likely look up to you, and you will probably be up to supporting the healers of the group, making sure they are safe.

Classpect: Bard of Blood

Analysis:
Ah, the Bard of Blood. You are gonna be the wildcard of the session. And, if you have read far into Homestuck, you know that bards are dangerously dangerous. Now, this is because Bards, sometimes by just being alive, can cause the destruction of their aspect. In this case, Blood's symbolism is the relations and bonds between people. This means that they are gonna be able to fuck up everyone's relationships, whether they try to or not. Now, the one thing about bards is that they tend to act like their opposite, meaning that you will probably act more like a breath player at first. You will be calm and pretty free with what you do, just flowing in whatever direction, but if someone were to push you hard enough, you will most likely go straight into destroying friendships and bonds and tear the group apart. Be warned, its not gonna be without consequence if you do, other players will put you down if needed, for their own survival.

Relations:

Who you will get along with: If the Maid of Heart is willing to risk herself, though she probably will be, then she might take you under her wing to help you become a bit more stable and decrease the chances of you going haywire. In addition, you might like to hand around the rogue a bit, though not exclusively, due to your habit of wandering between people in friendship.

Who you wont get along with: Alright so like I have mentioned, the Knight of Space isn't gonna like you. So if you ever fuck up, he will probably be the first to  you about getting your shit together, most likely protecting the Maid if she is also trying to help.  You are also gonna feel uneasy around the Page of Breath. He is gonna irk you a bit, so you don't really like him all too much.

Everyone else:  Everyone else you are kinda going to be neutral with, not really friends but not really enemies either. This miiight be because you kinda hang out with them but at the same time, they kinda know that you could snap at any moment.

Classpect: Page of Breath

Analysis: Well, looks like someone has everything in common with Tavros. Page of breath eh? Now, you will share a lot of similarities with the brown-blooded troll, one of those will be your confidence. You will probably start out with very little self-esteem. You will have to learn to be more confident in yourself and grow as you gain more of your power since Pages start out with little of their power and aspect until they mature and become one of the most powerful players in the session. This will manifest as you having a childlike personality, believing they are independent when they realise how bound they are at following others, especially to the point that everyone knows except you. Eventually, you will realize this and work harder at your freedom and independence, knowing what are really your decisions and your choices instead of just following others. Just make sure you don't die beforehand. In addition, as god tier your power will be similar to John's being able to surround yourself in wind, but I believe you will be able to invite others to your freedom once you discover it, boosting them through small bursts of wind in order to aide in battle, working the wind through the battlefield.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: You will probably really look up to the Knight, who is able to be so independent and especially since he is of Space, bear so much responsibility on his own. He is most likely the person you will try to mimic for independence intil you make your own real one.

Who you wont get along with:
Not necessarily not get along with but possibly have quite a mixed relationship with, and that's the Seer of Void. Although Breath and Void are very similar, the Page is not good with being taught or lead through to his aspect, as his rise to power involves many hurdles. The Seer would definitely try to help the Page see past his obstacles or work around them, which would hinder the Page in the end.

Oh, and the bard kinda scares the shit out of you.

Everyone else: Everyone else will probably roll their eyes at you, being the "Page" and all, but don't let that discourage you. So long as you manage to keep some steady growth, you will make some friends along the way.

Classpect: Thief of Mind

Analysis: The Thief of Mind is it? This is a class I am allll too familiar with. Ahem. As a Thief of Mind, you will be doing exactly as it sounds, stealing the thoughts and intelligence of others. Personality-wise you will be very prone to teasing others, luring them in before you take their logic away from them, causing them to make fools of themselves or make irrational decisions. You will take all of the knowledge for yourself, and even increase your own intellect with what you take.  god Tier, these powers will be enhanced, making it so that you need no ruse to simply pluck the thoughts of those you see, a genuine mind reader. To add to this, you are even able to completely use another's inner mind to become them in form, a master of disguise, perfect for infiltration. Most likely, your character will be the one fighting the Agents of Derse, due to your skills.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: You might take a liking to the Heir of Rage, though it can go one of two ways. You would either attempt to get him to focus his rage logically in the session, turning him against the right foes, most likely your own, or you might be more of a tease to him, just trying to piss him off a bit. Perhaps a bit of both. A very mixed relationship.

Who you wont get along with: You won't necessarily hate them, but you just won't get whats up with the Page of Heart. All of their stuff with being true to yourself, the whole thing, it's just illogical sometimes. You just don't get it. It will probably bring you to a scoff or eye roll every time you see her do her thing.

Everyone else: Everyone else will be the same in the sense that you like to mess with people sometimes hopefully not enough to derail the session, and hopefully just focus on the Agents of Derse. You will probably try to be the mastermind behind everything, trying to manipulate the others for your own benefit or for everyone to survive, or at least, the people you like.

Classpect: Rouge of Time

Analysis: The time player. You are gonna be helping out quite a bit. But first, a bit of personality, you are gonna be all wrapped up in time, thinking that you never have enough of it. This means keeping things for as looong as possible, especially if they hold meaning to you. In fact, you will probably have a lot of your own keepsakes because of this. You will also feel uncomfortable about your own destiny, or the inevitability of things. Luckily eough, you are going to be the one buying time for your session. As a god tier, you will be able to steal the time away from your enemies, giving them almost no time to prepare for fights or the future as you give it to your friends and allies. This means that everyone will have their time to develop and reach god tier if they can. The Rogue of Time will be a great aide in this, helping prepare for the great battle towards the end of it all, and causing their enemies to rush, unprepared.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: You will probably be working alongside the supporting players of the group, the Page and Sylph, especially in Dire situations, where they need time to get everyone under control. You will slow the session into slow and steady progress with them, hopefully making sure every wrinkele gets ironed out before the big fight.

Who you wont get along with: Luckily, you wont really have it out for anyone, and neither will anyone on you. You will probably have your tongue in cheek about how the Maid's powers seem to come off of them without any effort, when you have to take it from your enemies for yours to work.

Everyone else: Like I said, you will probably be on good terms with about everyone, so you wont have to worry about making friends or accidentally, enemies.

Classpect: Prince of Life

Analysis: Prince of Life. Well, Princes arent the nicest of people, and when you are the Prince of Life, you are usually less so. You will probably try to take the role as leader of the group, most likely having the physical size and muscle to try to do it as well. IF you do manage to be the leader, you are either gonna be really good or really bad. You are probably gonna start out acting like a doom player, really pessimistic and such, but you are also gonna like laying down rules, or at least, YOUR rules. In battle, even without god tier abilities, you are gonna smash through everything, like one punch man or some shit, just tearing through imps and whatnot. In god tier, this is gonna be enhanced, but you will be able to even do this from afar. Some kind of sith lord being able to just crush their enemies by clenching a fist. As an extreme ability, you will be able to destroy Life, with Life. This will probably mean sacrificing you own in order to take our a powerful opponent or even using the life of those around you to give you power. Quite a force to eb reckoned with. Let's just hope you don't turn on the group.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: You and the Thief will probably like each other quite a bit, and you might get along with the Mage of Doom. The first because both of you take your aspect/destroy it, except the thief actually gets something from it, while with the Mage you will most likely have similar views on death and with your pessimistic lifestyles.

Who you wont get along with: You probably won't get along with the Knight, after all he is trying to create the most like of all, being that he needs to create the Genesis Frog. In addition, I mean, you might fuck that up, being a Prince of Life and all, so he will most likely make you keep your distance.

Everyone else: So long as everyone abides by the rules you set in place for them, you won't have issues with them, but some might have issues with you depending on what rules you try to make.

Classpect: Seer of Void

Analysis: You are gonna be an interesting one. As a Seer of Void your struggle will lie with the darkness and meaningless of Void. In fact, at first, you will probably be a horrible seer, just seeing darkness and nothing else until you begin to embrace your role and begin to see through the Darkness of the Void. In fact, you will be able to see more than just a single -path, you will see every path as nothing will block your vision, both literally and figuratively. With the literal sense, one of two things will happen. You will either have perfect vision with night and heat vision, basically able to see in any conditions, or one I think is cooler, going blind and getting the sixth sense. You will most likely have some kind of object that you will use to be in touch with the Void. Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if you happened to go Grimdark.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: Like I mentioned, you are probably gonna have a mixed relationship with the Page of Breath, most likely trying to help him but hey, probably won't work out.

Who you wont get along with: ^^same as above

Everyone else: As the Seer, you are probably gonna be spending time helping everyone see the paths ahead of them and steering them clear of danger and such.

Classpect: Mage of Doom

Analysis: Alright, so Mage of Doom. You are going to have a lot in common with Sollux from homestuck. One of those things is that you are probably going to be pretty damn pessimistic, suffering a lot from your aspect, which are rules and restrictions placed upon you, and you will feel obligated to do many things. Doom players usually have something that only they can do in order to continue the Alpha Timeline, as they understand what needs to be done. They are great at finding loopholes and are usually the best aT exploit in them, since they have such an in depth understanding of them. Your powers may not be as upfront, but your understanding through Doom will most likely ensure that something happens in order for session success.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: Two people you will get along with are the Maid of Heart and the Rogue of Time. The Rogue gives you some relief in your restrictions and obligations, giving you extra time in order to complete them all, giving you the time to take the best route to ensure session success. The Maid appeals to you because she is also a way to keep the Timeline in check, though her way is more attuned to the players.

Who you wont get along with: You will probably have some type of opinion about the Witch of Life, especially if they are careless with their powers. However, you will respect those who can truly become in tune with their aspect for the greater benefit of the session.

Everyone else:  With everyone else, you will be pretty neutral, mostly probably doing your own thing and watching from a bit of a distance to make sure things go smoothly.

Classpect: Heir of Rage

Analysis: Heirs tend to have their aspect given to them so they can become it. This means that as an Heir of Rage, you will be able to be one of the most intimidating players in the game. You will probably be very convincing and know exactly what to say to convince someone of something. You will probably also be at the front of the battlefield, using your rage and a frontal force to cause the enemy to flee and your allies to work alongside you. You will also be quite a good leader, so long as you can keep the Prince of Life from butting heads with you.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: You will probably like the guidance from the Seer of Void, since they might be able to help you with controlling your aspect and understanding more about it so that you can help your friends and the session.

Who you wont get along with: As you will be trying to get guidance from the Seer, the Thief of Mind will most likely be tearing you down a bit, letting you succumb a bit to your rage, but so long as you have someone else by your side to help you have a bit of defense against it.

Everyone else: With everyone else, you will most likely have them on your side if you can wield your rage well. They would respect you as a leader.

Classpect:  Witch of Light

Analysis: Witches can control their aspect, and with you, you will be controlling luck and meaning. You will be quite powerful and also start out rebelling against the idea of luck, making unlucky things lucky or lucky things unlucky. You will be a very egocentric person with this, trying to get others to see what you can do, but you might get carried away, taking away meaning from something that it actually important. So long as you are careful with what you mess with, you should be beneficial to the group, bringing luck to your allies and aiding them in battle.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: Like I mentioned, you will probably become very good friends with the Sylph of Hope, as you two will have a few differences as well as a few similarities. The Sylph will believe in you and your luck, giving you the attention you seek as well as showing you the true uses of your powers and helping keep you from straying off and becoming too self centered, becoming a dynamic duo, stengthening each other. You will probably also be able to literally control light, able to make a house of mirrors and whatnot.

Who you wont get along with: You will probably  have a bit of abrasion with the Mage of Doom, like I mentioned, if you don't use your powers responsibly. You also might have the urge to compete with the Seer of Void, as they will have the ability to see through the Void and you control light and knowledge.

Everyone else: You will probably try making a few friends with others, though your relationship with the others really depends on how you develope.

(04-12-2016, 03:59 PM)Hatate Wrote: Player Name: Mary
Classpect: Maid of Heart
Analysis: So as a Maid of Heart, you will probably start off as pretty clingy and wanting others to tell you what to love and hate, not trusting in yourself. However, eventually you will trust in your own instincts and create your own passiom, one that spreads like wildfire to others. Once you realize this you will be able to flare up a passion within your friends, a motivational speaker and one that will no longer be pushed aside as you make yourself heard. With your passion you will strengthen your allies and make them nearly impossible to take down, their hearts flaring with determination.

Relations:
Who you will get along with: Once you become passionate, you will take it upon yourself to most likely help the Bard, helping them reach the realization you have and keep them in check in order to make sure they focus on the enemies.

Who you wont get along with: The Thief of Mind will probaby flustered you at times with their mischief, making you aggravated with them sometimes, but other than that, you wont have much issue.

Everyone else: Once you become self realized you will make friends with everyone much easier, but at first everyone will probably reject you and push you aside. In fact, during this time, the Sylph of Hope might be your only or one of your few friends and will help you reach u derstanding of yourself.

...I'm gonna be honest here; That is not what I expected someone with Light as their Aspect to be like at all.

I expected "light" being more like, say, the goodness inside someone.

Light is knowledge and luck, as well as the literal "light". All of these are less of a good and bad and more of a figurative aspect to show values.

You pretty much need to throw out all preconceptions when it comes to Classpects. SBURB is an RPG in mechanics only; the lore has no basis in 'standard' good vs. evil, elemental magic, etc, etc.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued

My Quest is planned to play out as kind of a 'standard' good VS evil scenario.
