In the year 1945, World War II ended. In the infamous race for the world's deadliest weapon, The Atom Bomb, The United States faltered and fell behind, eventually losing the upper hand. Nazi Germany bombed the most important cities in the world; New York, D.C, Moscow, reduced to ash. The combined might of the United States military and the Soviet Union forced to bend a knee or face utter destruction and the death of hundreds of millions.
The Nazis developed a class system that, in essence, kept everyone apart so they could not come together against the government. The main center of civilization was called Valhalla. It was structured in sections, according to your social ranking. Every section was surrounded by concrete walls 50 feet thick. The center was the main base for Hitler and his council of advisers. The first ring was called the Core. It housed the nobility and their servants. The second ring is Called the Estate. It is where Hitler's scientist test medicines, Bio-weapons, and their 'classified' experiments. The third and final ring is called The Fringe, It houses the less fortunate, and consequently is the largest of all the rings, constantly being expanded.
Koal is from the Fringe, born and raised in poverty and desperation, he hates what he is, and what that means. The fact that he will never be able to provide for himself,much less the family he wishes he could have. So, when Scientists from The Estate come and ask for volunteers for a classified experiment in exchange for a chance at a better life, he jumps at the offer. He is accepted as a candidate and is taken through the wall into the Estate.
The scientists use Koal as guinea pig of sorts, using him to test poisons and serums that almost killing him. But then an order from Valhalla comes in. Permission to test what the estate has secretly been preparing Koal for. They perform a ritual that splits part of Koal's soul and replaces it with The soul of Seraph, a malevolent spirit that, after the fusion of the two, possesses Koal's body and goes on a spree of mindless killing. It takes hours but Koal wrestles control of his body back from Seraph, and is forced to run from authorities, for it will surely mean a slow, painful death if they catch him. They chase him to the top of the main research building, where he makes a fight or flight decision.Stay and fight. Or jump. He jumps. As the air is rushing past his face, he starts to feel an extreme sense of vertigo and suddenly he's not falling anymore...
Physical Description:[Koal is a somewhat tall guy, standing at about 6' 4", he has a lean-muscular build(Think like a professional swimmers' build) His black hair is just long enough to brush his eyelashes and is stylized into a windswept look. He has violet eyes that set him apart from most people. Seeing as a surplus of clothing is nonexistent in his social class, he wears the same black leather jacket, dark grey jeans and black scuffed-up converse shoes, every day.(originals only)

Blade is about 4 feet long. The hilt of the blade is very demonic in design and intricately carved with runes.(300 OM)
