Habits Die Hard

Oook. Although i have enjoyed playing -angetsu. (A certain letter key has stopped working on my keyboard. I'll let you guys figure that one out).

I had a lot planned out for him, but well.. I guess i wasn't reatlly enjoying it as much as i thought. The lack of real mobility really takes away from how i can describe him, and having to rely on another character to get around at first wasn't really appealing. Also, I cant get -angetsu's personality down right and the times I do makes me cringe from how cheesy it is. For this reason i am thinking about another Alt, sorry for those i had plans with x.x

Now, those I am considering:

Seraph: Ex-Espada That is currently working for King Gilgemesh. he is a curious fellow, literally. Good or bad he always looks for new things to explore, for new things to experience. (kinda how he died back in his homeworld). Think of him as a cloud, drifting where ever the wind blows and only weighed down by the one he serves. Expect to find him at a bar somewhere drinking up everyone's alcohol. Also New babylon needs some membership, and i would enjoy throwing him back in.

Marluxia: The character i originally joined the site as hailing from Kingdom Hearts. This guy wants nothing else but to obtain more power. He can be viewed as cold and egotistical, but what's the harm in having another one of those here? This bish is absolutely fabulous.

might add some later.

The best way to make Zangetsu work is with Symbiosis. With that, you can basically take control of whatever unfortunate secondary finds you. Then you can control them. >_>

I really like Deadpool's idea. I also enjoy the idea of the secondary occasionally 'dying', leading to you having another sap take up the sword and become overwhelmed by the sword's personality. Some pretty great comedy could come of it.

And I wouldn't worry too much about coming across as cheesy. Odds are it's just the writer over-analyzing the work, I do it all the time.

Yes! Sorta like this dimension's Soul Edge. You could get telepathy and warp the mind of the person that wields you, like the One Ring.

The problem I have with this is that...well, you're essentially interested in switching to characters that you've already switched out of. :? Not that it isn't possible to find renewed inspiration for an old character (Ditto and Omni can attest to that). But if you lost the will to write as those characters before, you need to ask yourself whether there is a possibility that it will happen again.

Plus, I agree with the others. I think you could use the limitations of your character to your advantage and have the story not just be about the sword, but also about the poor soul that decided to take it with them. But if you don't find that particularly compelling, then I suppose a more conventional character would do you good.

Hmmm i like these ideas (Already have symbiosis for those exact reasons x3, i just happened to got snatched by another character haha)

@DL: I see, though Marluxia was the only one i've generally lost interest. Seraph well.. i just didn't have the right mindset. I was too stressed and depressed to pull off Seraphs happy, curious personality without accedently comprimising what i wanted the character to be and represent. (and i could only have one character at the time and didn't know i could opt to play a secondary character on the side. woops on my account x3)

Anyhow, thanks for your input. I guess i'll continue with good ol zangetsu and push Seraph through as an NPC (New Babylon needs some peeps). Seraph wouldn't be getting any better anyhow.(lazy bum)
