Out and About
#1
Slowly, she blinked her eyes, squinting at the glare of bright white. "Ugh..." Right, the Nexus was an awful place. Just empty with lots of bright, white light coming from nowhere and everywhere. There were worse places to end up (the Time Rift came to mind), but this place was...preeeetty awful. Luckily she wasn't planning on staying long.

She hopped up to her feet, not even stopping to think about how she'd ended up sprawled on the ground (or how long she'd been there, for that matter) and did a quick stretch. Everything was still sore from the events of Dante's Abyss, and she was still more than a little exhausted, but it was all behind her for now. It was over, and on top of all that, she'd won. Somehow. She was pretty sure there was supposed to be some sort of prize for that, but...

As if on cue, a notification flashed on the lens of her scouter, alerting her to a new message. With a trace of surprise, she opened it up and was caught completely off-guard when she noticed who the sender was. Quickly, she read the message over. Once, then again, and a third time. "Whoa. That's awesome." So there was a prize! She'd kind of left in a hurry and not gotten it in person, but it looked like Karl Jak had thought ahead. It was waiting for her in a lockbox, in Coruscant. She was planning to head home anyway, so that actually worked out pretty nicely!

She shut down the message and dataverse access to clear her vision, and took a deep breath, her eyes closing and head tilting back. Just one thing to do.

For a long time, she just stood there, focusing. Narrowing her thoughts and mind down to a specific point. Gathering up her energy and working toward something she'd been missing ever since she'd arrived here. With Omnilium, anything you desire can be yours. She was pretty sure she had enough now...

Minutes later, she was on her way, back in flight as she went. And it felt good to be back in the air again; back in her element. It wasn't much faster than if she just stuck to the ground and ran, and it wasn't any less taxing on her — if anything, it was a lot more tiring than it would've probably been to just run the same distance. But it felt good, to be able to do something so simple, after not being able to do it for so long.

Upside down, with her back toward the ground, and eyes on the gate to Coruscant in the distance, she streaked across the Nexus just as fast as she could go.
