His right hand that had held the Oan Power Ring had been viciously cut off, and the wound was gushing out blood. As the wound continued to shoot out like a fire hose, Jack wished that he had been more skilled with the Power Ring he had once had. Now that he no longer possessed the Oan Power Ring there was a lot he couldn't do. The majority of the tricks he had learned with the ring were no longer options because he lacked them. Cursing the humidity of the Tangled Green, Jack made a mental promise to himself that he was going to master the next item he created. Wait, next item. She had called him a disgrace, and it was true. Jack had never had any training with the power ring. She had said it was one of the most powerful weapons in all the universes, so he planned on recreating the ring, but more stable than it had been. In order to recreate the Power Ring, Jack was going to need to possess something more than Omnilium because he didn't trust his skills at using Omnilium to make a power ring.
The Key to Vector Sigma would be a good item, perhaps if he could combine it with the Forge of Solus Prime. Sadly he had neither item, and wasn't a Cybertronian anymore. Using them was out of the question, right? No, it wasn't. Omni had said Omnilium could create anything the user wanted, should they have enough and desire it enough. In the mean time he needed to find someone to educate him on how to use the replica of the Bow of Primus. Since it was all he had left, Jack would have to learn how to operate it one handed until his hand regenerated, or he could restore it.

Eventually he was certain he could make the power ring that he needed. Of course, it was going to have to wait. Jack was not going to remake the Oan Power Ring any time soon. It was unstable, he knew that much. For now he had to work on more mundane firepower in order to help him prepare to face down that lady that had beaten him so effortlessly. Jack really needed someone who could educate him in how to fight, so that he could protect himself should she come around. The next time he would be ready, and prepared to face her. The Green Lantern Corps would exist in the Omniverse, and Jack would have a key role in that. However, he did not want to lead the Green Lanterns. No, he merely wanted to make the Green Lanterns exist. Should the Decepticons be around, Jack wanted there to be a group that could handle them. Since there were no Autobots other than Arcee, it fell to Jack to attempt to prepare some technology and resources to help preserve life. After all, Optimus had entrusted him with the key to Vector Sigma which had allowed him to restore the memories of Optimus.
Without both of his hands, Jack had a lot of work to do. The other wound gushed out like the right hand. Cursing the woman because of her cruelty, Jack knew he had to find a way to move past this. His next set of hands had to be stronger than the ones he possessed previously so they couldn't be cut off like she had done. While he wouldn't normally alter himself like this, Jack knew he had no other choice until he could get strong enough to use the Green Light of Will on a level that would surpass what he had been able to do before. "In Brightest Day,"
Jack stopped himself. No, he couldn't say those words right now. He was unworthy of being a Green Lantern. But one day, he'd be worthy of being a Lantern, and when he was, he'd summon his ring.

A day passed, and Jack had not been able to make his hands return with Omnilium. Cursing what she had done, Jack looked at the paled hands that had once been his. They were already starting to degrade. At least he had managed to stop the flow of the bleeding, although it had been difficult for him to do. Still, it was going to make future things impossible for him. Unless he were to gain access to some sort of new limbs for himself, he couldn't do much without using his mouth, or his feet. The Oan Power Ring had been something he had disgraced, because he had not understood what the ring was capable of. Any future power rings he made were going to be studied by him in considerable depth, before he even considered posting ads on the Dataverse, or questions on it.
Not that he could post ads, or questions on the dataverse, right now, mind you. For his ring had done all of that for him, and he did not possess another means of access. Sure he could create one with Omnilium, but he didn't feel like doing so. Right now, it was like someone had taken every bit of fighting spirit, and will power, and drained it right out of him, like someone would drain a glass of wine, or a glass of soda, or a glass of milk.
The brutal actions of the Sinestro Corps had proven to Jack that they were tyrants, and abusing their power. They were every bit as bad as the Decepticons, but had the support of the people of the Endless Dunes. Due to this, Jack couldn't go up against them without support backing him up. Even then, he couldn't go up against them as he was now. As he was now, it would be laughably easy for one of them to send him to that place that the woman had warned him about. Some sort of 'hell' or prison that was a place from nightmares for the Primes of the Omniverse. There was a place Jack had no intention of ending up.
Said Corps's actions had also taught Jack a valuable lesson, though. The lesson was that he hadn't been ready to wield the power ring, and hadn't deserved to have it at that time. Even with all he had done to save Optimus from the Decepticons, and protect the rest of the Autobots, he shouldn't have gotten the ring without some sort of training.
Drifting through the Tangled Green, jack made a decision. His education would have to be in a different verse. Perhaps he could go to the one that had the white armor clad individuals around it. If there was technology advanced enough to make the armor, perhaps they had a way they could clone his hands. Not that he'd keep the cloned limbs, of course, but they would come in infinitely more useful for him than just his mouth, and his feet, mind you.
Forcing himself to keep going, despite his arms somehow sending signals like someone was constantly cutting him, Jack made his way towards the Gate that led to the Nexus. There was no time for him to feel sorry for himself, he needed to get stronger and become more able to protect himself in this place.
