Dataverse Download Station: A One Way Ticket Down Under
#1
While it is impossible to have an Underverse Base with an exit via Dataverse Uplink, is it feasible to have a one way Dataverse Download Station to bring people into the Underverse at a specific place?

You can use a Recall Station to return to your Underverse base. Just hafta do the quest every time you wanna leave.

Yes, but that's not the question I'm asking, since recall stations require you to link up with them in person. A Dataverse Uplink only requires permission to Download to go from the Dataverse to the base it's situated in: would a one way Dataverse Download allow secondaries and primes who've never been to the Underverse to arrive at the designated location?

Underverse is completely cutoff from the rest of the Omniverse (barring use of a Banishment circle, warp whistle, teleporter or recall station to go there or the quests there to get out), Dataverse included. So that's a no-go.

Edit: To put it simply, what you're asking for would require a base, in the Underverse, with a Dataverse Uplink terminal to be downloaded to. And that's one item you can't purchase for an Underverse base anyway. So again...sad to say, it's a no-go.
If you see me around and you got questions, just give a shout. I'm happy to assist.

Damn. As an exercise I'm trying to work out a legitimate strategy to invade the Underverse. It's quite tricky.

Hmm... on a similar note, if you link with a recall station, then the base it is in is relocated, are you still connected to the recall station?

Would self banishment en masse not work?

The problem is the random arrival points. A scattered army would easily get picked off, especially without somewhere to bunker down and weather the inevitable counterattack.

As long as the base owner doesn't update/change permissions to remove you from the list of who's synced and allowed to use it, I would imagine so, yes. Someone with a darker blue name than me can correct this if I'm mistaken, of course.

Would work. But you'd all arrive in random locations. I imagine coordinating and all arriving together is the intended point of the exercise she's trying.

Pretty much yes. Seems that a 'drop base' scenario would work, although 2000 OM for every outgoing wave is nothing to sniff at.
