Gathering Intelligence

This place was not Gotham City, and thus Matthew didn't know where everything was. After approaching one of the nearby civilians after he left it behind, he asked. "Which way to the library?"  The citizen pointed him in the right direction, and Matthew thanked the citizen. Checking to make sure he had the batarangs hidden up his sleeves he began to walk through the bustling city. The technology here was astounding. They had Hover Cars, and technology like that was common place. The buildings were even taller than the ones back home in Gotham City. Whatever this place was named, it was certainly impressive. Matthew was not sure it was called but apparently the Storm Trooper had told him it was called "Coruscant."  However, the name did not ring any bells of any variety.

Matthew looked around, and sighed. Wishing that he had a map of the area,  he attempted to create one with Omnilium. Yet the map was completely blank. What the slag? Why was the map blank? Not knowing the answer, or the directions to the library he started wandering aimlessly through the world of Coruscant. Eventually he made his way to the library, but by the time he was there, he was sweating and panting.

"Okay. I'm out of shape."

Getting his body back into shape for fighting crime was definitely in order. Entering the library through the sliding doors, he'd start to look through the shelves and wander aimlessly, not expecting he was about to run into a creature from myth. Of course with whose son he was, as his DNA was not that of Mary Mcginnis, or Warren Mcginnis. Really, his parents were Bruce Wayne, and Diana Prince. As such he was not fully "human" as it were. His physical abilities were well above what a human normally had. What he needed to do was a lot of research.

Grabbing some of the books on Coruscant, including an Atlas and one that had maps of Coruscant he put them down on a table.

"Let's see here.  So far I've got Maps of Coruscant,  the Abridged EditionHow to make explosives for dummiesHow to prepare poisons for dummiesGuerrilla Warfare Tactics for dummiesAmateur's Guide to Free RunningPressure Point Guide for Dummies,  and finally, a list of all the gangs in the city. This city is just as bad as Gotham."

If the city was as bad as Gotham City,  Matthew had his work cut out for him. Picking up the book on the map of Coruscant he started to make a mental map of where he was on Coruscant. This library was going to be a place he'd need to frequent.

"This is interesting,"  said Matthew, as he examined one of the locations in the book. It was an abandoned manor that had been built atop an abandoned Imperial Research Facility. Such a place could prove useful for Matthew, to make his home. It was also going to make a good place for him to build a lair in so he would have somewhere that he could call home. Really, though it was only going to be step one of his plans to make sure that he could survive in this new world that he had no clue about whatsoever. While he had solved his issue of not knowing his way around from reading the maps, he still knew he needed to be ready.
Given the reports of the gangs in some of the books, he knew he had to be equipped properly. Having an HQ he could operate out of was only step one in order to be equipped properly for the job. Equipment was only half the battle. Skills were needed, as were equipment.

Getting out of the chair he was in,  he went over to where some books on Architecture were. Building the place into the perfect base for himself was definitely going to be a good idea.

"So let's see here. I've got the location that will be my new home, the abandoned manor once I go there and fix the place up. That's a good start, I suppose. I will still need to learn more about this place, and get better equipped. No offense to Amanda Waller, but the knife and Batarang won't be enough here. With others who can manipulate Omnilium I am going to need more tricks up my sleeve than I have now."

Matthew sighed. It was times like these he wished he had the equipment of the Justice League. Perhaps in the future he could attempt to create replicas of the gear used by the Justice League for his own personal use. It was going to be a challenge, but it would be well worth it in his opinion.

Green Lantern's Ring for example would be useful, if it could allow him to fly.  As he did not possess a jet,  he wouldn't be able to keep up with any of the "Primes" who could fly. Noticing a book on secondaries, he started to read over it. So Secondaries were ones who were made using Omnilium by Primes. This was a good bit of information he had not known before.

A lot of supplies that had been wielded by the Justice League at one time were definitely useful, if he had any of them at his disposal. Sadly, he had no access to the Watchtower if it existed here. This meant he lacked access to the technology on board the tower that was capable of enabling Teleportation. It was a shame as such would have been very useful to him during his early arrival. Getting up from the chair and stretching his legs for a moment, so as to prevent any form of blood clots or similar problem from developing,  Matthew looked himself over. Truly he was not in his top form yet, but he could get back to there. It was possible and if it was a possibility, it could be achieved. Training was essential to ensure his survival, so that he could keep an eye out for others from his world or universe who had been displaced by this "Omni" and perhaps unite them with the goal of finding a way home, or making the best of this place. Either way he had a lot he needed to do, and had needed to do if he was to survive here. Step One had already been completed, in that he had found somewhere to call his home. What he needed now was a way that he could access whatever passed for the internet in the Omniverse.

If he was to be able to do his research without repeated trips to the Library, being able to access the web would be well worth it. With that in mind he took out the rainbow colored orb of Omnilium that was in his possession. This had to be some sort of nanotechnology, or adaptive circuitry like that of the Batman Beyond Suit his brother had worn. Nothing else Matthew could think of could explain what the orb could do. Concentrating, he'd think of what he needed. Ideally he'd have some sort of communications device that could access the "internet" here as well. It was going to have to be portable, and something that could keep his hands accessible so he could still protect himself while using the device. An eye piece was a good idea. Two minutes later, he'd created that but rejected the design. No an eye piece was not fitting, as he was not Dead Shot. Perhaps a Domino Mask? No, he was not Robin, or Nightwing, or Red Hood.

Finally he settled upon creating a helmet similar to that of Red Hood. While this was not one of his original choices, it was going to have to do. It was the best he could come up with, and that meant he could use it. Sliding it on, he'd begin to get directions from his current location to the manor that he planned on repurposing into his HQ. Of course while he didn't want to create some secondaries, those who lived in a manor were likely to be expected to have some servants, perhaps a butler like Bruce Wayne did. Maybe. Matt didn't know what he was going to do with the place.

Exiting the library, he made his way towards the Manor.
