On the Lamb Part 2: Electric Lamb
#1
Rouge passes through, and as soon as ey cross over, a detector scans em, the lights flash from to red, a icon on a screen flashes and shows that there is a small bounty on Rogue. Luckily, whoever was supposed to be on this side of the gate was on some kind of break. Rogue give eir bounty info a cursory glance.
“Hmm, only one hundred of this OM”, Rouge comments simply and then smirks, ey then quickly vacate the area. With the form of the business woman, ey slip into the back area of a local cantina, copying one of the waitstaff. Rogue walks out right through the establishment, instead of carrying a briefcase to hide eir helmet, ey disguises it as a large astrolabe, and into the street. Ey then slide into an alley and start to scale eir way up the side of a building and to the roof. Ey continue the trek across the rooftops, leaping from one to another. Occasionally ey have to climb up the side of the taller buildings.
Meanwhile, the Stormtrooper who was supposed to be at the gate, walks out of the restroom only to see a warning on his monitors,
“Well, fuck”, he sighs, wondering why today, why does today have to be the day he has to deal with a Prime. He skulks over to the console and reports the warning, then clears the console screen. A few minutes later a raven haired prime crosses through the gate,
“They were here”, Dawn states simply, the trooper gulps and nods,
“Y-yes ma’am”, he stutters, Dawn ignores his concern, and once the trooper realizes he isn't going to be reprimanded, he lets out a sigh of relief.
“Have you reviewed any footage of them since they have been here?”, Dawn asks, the trooper nods and rolls over to a monitor. He pulls up a file and play the video,
“I can trace her up to the restaurant, but I lose her their”, says the trooper as the video plays, he lets it play a little longer and it shows one of the waitstaff exiting the building while carrying an astrolabe, Dawn notices them,
“Pause,” she says and points to the person carrying the astrolabe, “that’s them, follow them”, the trooper types away, and pulls up all footage of the disguised Rogue, wo then heads down an alleyway and starts climbing up the side of a building.
“Looks like they are heading towards the docks, if you go now you can catch-”, the trooper turns around to Dawn, only to see that she already left.

Swift as the wind, the vigilante stormed through the crowds of Costa del Sol. Occasionally she had to stop and ask a citizen directions towards the docks. When she was close enough, made her way towards the vast ocean where her prey was running to get away from the jaws of the wolf. Her wings blew glorious, unburning heat around the bystanders of Costa del Sol as she blew of the ground. With view of the huge ocean, she looked upon the docks. A woman walked towards the docks at hurried pace, trying to get away from something. Dawn could easily see through her sheep’s wool, though.

She slammed down in front of the ‘waitress’ and rose to her feet. Her eyes as fierce as the waves in the ocean behind her, the cyan gaze fell upon her prey like a tidal wave.

“Enough with your shit, shape-shifter. You have more to worry about than a few lousily trained gate guards.” Her voice called out to the faux-woman. Rogue wasn’t ready to give up the jest just yet, though.

“I don't know what you're talking about, leave me al-” Her voice was interrupted by a kick to the chest. Her cloak flickered to his original form, showing through the disguise.

“I don't play games. Raise your weapon, or die like a coward.” The half-demon drew her katana on the shape-shifter, pointing the blade at him menacingly. Rogue grinned under his helmet and released the copy he’d made. In his hand, he readied his karambit.

The assassin watched as the shapeshifter twirled the curved claw of a blade over his hand with grace that even she could not match. It was easy to tell he had seen many fights with such weapon. Her grip on her sword tightened as he rose to his feet in full stance and took a hostile pose. Dawn sneered at his confidence: She already knew how this was going to end.

“Your choice!” She said charging in at him with tenacity in her eyes and murderous intent in her heart. Her blade whirred through the air screaming the sound of death, it’s song of blood. Rogue easily ducked under the initial assault of the three foot long blade, needing to rely on his perk of agility. Unfortunately, Dawn was just as fast as he was, zipping back around with an overhead swing. Her movements were fluid, but so were those of the dexterous shapeshifter. His speed at least matched hers, giving him the reaction speed to dodge the medium of her bloodlust.

He jumped back at the blade, dodging the next attack as he was just about to reach in for a swipe. The Rogue was at a severe range disadvantage but that wasn’t going to stop him from taking down his enemy. She struck with an upward slash followed by a horizontal cut to her left. He jumped on her, reaching to grab her right forearm and spinning the assassin to his front side. Her sword went flying as her arm was bent backwards. She groaned as a bone popped in her shoulder from the strain.

“What a careless assassin, being disarmed so easily.” He says under his mask, the fang-bladed karambit placed near Dawn’s throat. “Disgraceful to the name of murders.”

“Tch,” the raven-haired assassin scoffed. “Such an idiotic coward, thinking that his enemy can be so easily defeated.” She grabs his wrist and headbutts him - hurting herself more than anything - allowing her to slip free of a swift death. She reaches for the blade strapped to her leather boot and drives it into his arm, but much to her avail, he does not drop his weapon. Blood seeps from his wound and spreads against the sand of the beach.

The two separate, or more accurately, Rogue retreats. Dawn on the other hand retrieves her katana from its place in the sand, dusting it off quickly before placing it in her dominant hand and her knife in her off-hand. She grins at him, teeth white as the full moon, eyes as blue as the ocean water to their sides.

“You’re gonna need more than a butter knife to kill me.” She says making her charge again. Slashing like a whirlwind of steel, the assassin’s blades slice the musky wind of the beach. Rogue finds it even tougher to get a gain on her. If there’s one thing she’s good at, it’s leaving no room mistakes. Her blades are impossible to get around. Slowly, cuts begin to form around Rogue’s body. The lacerations hurt his pride more than anything. After realizing his body would soon become a gallery of Dawn’s craft, Rogue quickly realized this fight was a losing battle. He had no way to combat this primes ability and arsenal, or even outlast it at this point. His only hope was to take this battle to the stealthy side.

The first breath he gets, he dives into the crowd, which sends most of the observants into a flying panic. Everyone scatters, scared of Dawn’s careless rage and disregard for the anyone’s life beyond her own. Her face turns to a scowl as her opponent scours for a safe-haven. His ability to elude the assassin was successful, nevertheless. He navigates the crazed crowd, targeting the assassin alone, who was clueless to his sly approach. His karambit finds her guts, via her back reaching deep into her body twice before she’s able to get him off her. Curse words pushed against clenched bone.

“God...Dammit!” She coughs up, blood seeping between her lips. “That’s it! I’m done with you!” Her wrists get tense and her sword spins around nearly decapitating Rogue completely. He was just swift enough to fall back on his back to avoid it. This, however, did not stop the assassin from impaling her blade through his stomach. The real victory was yet to come, though. It came when her combat knife found its way into her opponent’s stomach several times, before being kicked off him. The crowd of people took several leagues back now, knowing this battle was easily a free for all, and neither of the combatants had any intent to spare innocent life to expand theirs. (Despite the both of them being immortal.)

The rogue pulled the sword from his stomach and slowly pulled himself up from the sand. His heart skipped a beat when he felt the immense power in front of him, nearly bringing him back to his knees. He watched as the assassin’s body enveloped in black flames, conjured by magics unknown to him. Her white mane was his first exposure to the demon he now faced, the red eyes of murder pierced the blackness that hid her face.

“Know the cold of death’s touch.” She could feel the tear oozing from his body, even through his mask he could not hide the fear he had of his opponent in this form. She slowly approached him, seeing as he had no longer the will to fight on. She grabbed her sword from the sand again and sheathed it on her back. “This fight is over.”

The ice cold assassin stopped in front her mark and offered a scowl as he looked up at the demon. Her fist drove back, and then forward, bludgeoning the poor receiving party’s skull. Her hand broke through the helmet he wore and into his skull, making it bowl of brains and blood. The crowd around them dispersed quickly, imagining the horrors the demon in front of them could inflict upon them if she wished. The Rogue fell to the ground, lifeless as the demoness removed her hand from his hollow head. She had only now noticed that she was bathed in his blood - good.

Blood stained the vigilante’s pale-white hand. The purity of her clear skin stained by the blood of a short live enemy. Dawn scoffed as the mess on her hand and flicked the excess off her wrist.

“Weak, next time we meet, bring some better tricks.” After pulling out her phone and commemorating the kill with a picture, the assassin turns and heads for the Coruscant gate. The crowd that remained around her as she finished him off wonder if they should attempt to stop the Prime. Then they all realized how completely stupid that sounded in their heads.

To the raven-haired girl’s uncanny luck, she ran into the captain leading the division of inspection at the Nexus gate. It seems he had come to inflict a revenge sentence on the Rogue.

“You’re the dude that was at the Coruscant gate in the Nexus? All you look the fuckin’ same to me.” She says bluntly. The Stormtrooper was not amused under the pure white helmet he wore, though, she could sense his distrust of her was apparent.

“Yeah, where is the creatine. Did he get away?” He asked with his rifle readily armed and safety off.

“Tch, as if. I was the one hunting him. If you wish to repent your revenge on his corpse, you can certainly go look at the canvas of blood in the sand by the docks before his body become ethereal Omnilium. However, I suggest I get my payment for destroying him.” She held out her hand for whatever she was expecting to get from him. The stormtrooper was hesitant at first, but eventually he reached into some kind of storage unit strapped to his armor that Dawn was unfamiliar with and gave her a glowing ball that mocked the shape of dog shit. She looked at it oddly, like- ‘The fuck is this shit.’ -then memories of Ghidorah, curse his bronze scales to hell, came to mind. The way he absorbed her body into Omnilium.

Her hand folded over and smashed the pearlescent colors of Omnilium before she felt a slight power course up her arm and into her body. It was exhilarating, making her hair stand on end. It was then her phone beeped with a bounty update, but it was not what she expected.

’Looking for ally to dispatch all outstanding EPD bounties. Meet me in Tier 1 of Coruscant precinct at the front desk. All rewards benefitted from our hunts will be yours.’ -Anonymous

Dawn wasted no time.

“Out of my way now, I’m busy.” She says, going past the commander and making her way through the gate, after being thoroughly checked- again.
