As Aquamarine floated throughout the black and vast void surrounding her while waiting for the glowing silhouette who called himself Omni to finish talking, she started to think to herself what was happening to her. The last thing before she spontaneously appeared in this black void that she could remember was waiting for the Diamonds to give her a new job, and she was guessing that either the Diamonds shattered her because she was only able to bring in one human despite bringing Rose Quartz to them, and that this place was the afterlife, or whoever the being talking to her was somehow even more powerful than the Diamonds, and dragged her to this void because she somehow piqued his interest.
While she continued to think about the void she was floating around in, Aquamarine saw the silhouette create a glowing orb that floated torwards her before entering her Gem, making her feel a bit more complete. As Omni explained the more fundamental laws of the orb, apparently called Omnilium, Aquamarine was intrigued on how it tied the universe together, much like how her Gem could hold her light-made body together, but she was also slightly worried when the silhouette said that she and others that interested him would always be reborn after death. After all, if you didn't have to worry about death, than everyone would be free to cause chaos, and the world would fall into a lawless wasteland.
Before she could ask Omni on what else she would need to know about the Omniverse, the silhouette already vanished, as the dark void around her slowly turned into a vast white landscape, with a fountain in front of her and what looked like some weird humanoid alien with a tail talking to what looked like a different alien and what she assumed was a human of a unknown type, just maybe a My Dad. "Hmm... No sight of other kinds of Gems in the distance, but at the least I can see that there is others around here. Even so, considering the words that Omni said, I should probably steer clear from them, at least until I can gather enough of this Omnilium to be able to succeed against them despite the number disadvantage if things turn sour."
After trying to walk around the three people, Aquamarine decided to test out to see if any of her old abilities still worked, starting with her ability to fly using her Water Wings. With a quick hop, followed by landing on her face in whatever the vast white floor was made of, she guessed that the Omnilium was limiting the use of her Water Wings or made them incapable of holding her up in the air, though they could still flap around and create some wind.
With her wings now only being useful to blow a heavy breeze now, Aquamarine moved onto the second, and arguably the more important thing that she wanted to test to see if her wand would still work on moving objects around in the air. Since there seemed to be nothing around to move around in the air, Aquamarine decided to test out trying to create a simple object out of Omnilium to test her wand on, and after a few minutes of focusing, Aquamarine eventually created a small orb much like the one that Omni used in his explanation earlier, only this orb was just blue rather than all the colors of the rainbow.
Now that there was something to test her wand on, Aquamarine quickly pulled the wand, hidden in her hair at the time in a ribbon-like shape, and formed it back into it's natural shape before trying to use it to move the orb around from a distance. Luckily for the Gem, Aquamarine was able to easily move the orb around with her wand, though it seemed to have a much lower radius than before she came to this Omniverse. "Well at the least I know that my wand will still have a use, but what now? I don't see anything of interes-"
It was at that point that Aquamarine noticed the multiple gates surrounding the fountain, with most of them seeming to be as far away as the horizon, which intrigued the Gem a bit. The closest gate out of the ones she noticed though seemed to be the gate that looked as if it was made of metal, though it looked like it would take at least a few hours before the Gem would reach the gate, especially with the speed she was going at. Despite the faraway distance of the gates and the time it would take to actually reach each of them, Aquamarine decided to reach and study the gates, if only to learn about their functions.
