A fairys dream

[Cirno]

As Cirno was in a deep sleep she could see someone almost flashing a flashlight in her eyes causing her to cover her eyes in distaste; with a weak ass attempt to smack the light away. “T-ten more minutes Dai-chan. I- I was up late last few days trying to survive a giant frog hunting me.”


She groggily opened up her eyes and saw the white pallet that was the nexus and groaned in slight anger. “Omni why must you do this to me?! Was i that disruptive to Gensokyo’s way of life that you plucked me away from there?!”


She could see someone in paper armour near the fountain refilling there flask and sitting. She got up and walked over to them waving and saying hello. The samurai looked around in confused before shrugging and continuing to fill the flask up with the water there. She waved her hand infront of there face only to not get any reply. This caused her to get red faced and mad before sitting with a frown and a glare on her face at the samurai.


First it was being here and now it was like she was a ghost to everyone around her. Not something a fairy has to deal with every day, the actual prospect of eternal death and cirno was not taking it well. Being a fairy of ice and thermal control the air around her quickly cooled in her annoyed state causing snow to fall for one of the few times; if it is truly the first true time it has gotten cold enough to snow in the nexus.


People around her started to see the snow and scratch their heads in confusion before getting up and away from the cold. She wanted to scream at all of them so badly, what she wouldn’t give to teach everyone in gensokyo that she was strong enough to be a equal. Now she waited for someone or something to come along and finally see her.

A strained sigh rose up from Clownpiece’s chest, muffled by her closed lips as all feeling slowly returned to her. With her eyes shut tight, she stretched luxuriously, arms overhead and back on the ground. Warmth suffused her sleepy muscles, and the fairy let out a deep breath, relaxing once again. She opened her eyes slowly, adjusting to the endless white she was met with again.

“Ah....” Another small noise escaped her. For a few seconds she simply laid there, staring blankly at the emptiness, before she thrust herself up into a sitting position. Her hands shot up to her head and patted against the purple fabric atop her head. She cast a quick glance down to her body, to her star-spangled dress, back in one piece. Her eyes flicked over to her right, where the endless white of the Nexus was broken by the lunatic purple glow of her torch.

“Alright!” She let loose a cheery exclamation, grabbing at her torch with her right hand. The hell fairy sprang to her feet and lifted her arms up in another needed stretch. That death game hadn’t turned out quite how she’d hoped, but there was always next year. For now, she needed to-

“Clownpiiiiieeeeece!” A jubilant shout sounded out from behind the patriotic fairy, jarring her right out of her thoughts, and suddenly a heavy and cold weight slammed into her from behind. Clownpiece’s breath was forcefully expelled from her chest, and the sheer momentum behind her bombastic friend threw the both of them right off their feet. The two fairies crashed into the featureless ground and tumbled for a few feet before rolling to a stop.

“Hi... Cirno...” The newly-revived girl said unenthusiastically, head spinning. A rather heavy weight pressed down into her from above, suffusing her back with a spreading chill.

“Jeez, it took you long enough to revive,” Cirno grumbled from atop her, “I’ve been waiting here for hours.”

“Yeah? Well I’ve been dead,” she shot back, slowly getting her bearings back.

“So was I!” The ice fairy exclaimed indignantly.

“...Good point,” Clownpiece conceded, falling silent for a moment before continuing. “How’d you die anyway? Someone broke my eyes in the arena so I wasn’t able to see.”

“I took on two people at once and almost kicked their butts!” Her haughty tone was back again, and the cold weight was finally lifted from the blonde’s back.

“Woah,” she slowly got back up to her feet, voice filled with awe. “I just fought a really angry guy. That was such a bad match-up though!” she turned to face her friend, grabbed her chilly shoulders, and leaned in really close. “How do I drive someone mad if they’re already mad!”

“Uh...” Cirno could do nothing but hum absently as Clownpiece shook her.

"HOW DO I DRIVE SOMEONE MAD IF THEY'RE ALREADY MAD?!" Cirno was shook by her shoulders and honestly confused. She just hummed in thought as the two made a scene in the nexus with one of them hyperventilating at the thought of someone being immune to there effects. Cirno growled at Clownpiece's overreaction before she grabbed her by the shoulder and shone her icy blue eyes in a glare.

"I thought you were hell's greatest fairy? Couldn't you have done something else besides the insanity torch? Look what you need is some relaxation. I don't care if we go to a spa, a beach, hot spring or something else completely. Just calm down and follow me since I took the liberty of learning about the omniverse more as one of the few fairy's who know how to read. There is many verses and I think the one you would like is in this direction." She goes to point to the Vasty deep and started to walks that way before turning off her tablet and flying off with Clownpiece in tow.

After a few hours of flight they finally make it though at this point they are carrying each other to the amazement seeing two palm trees meeting each other. The two fairy's were baffled by what these trees were because they had never seen one. "You think a fairy did this Cirno?" As Clownpiece spoke to the tomboyish ice fairy; Cirno went to touch the palm tree only for it to not get partly frozen to her annoyance.

"GAH what is this magic?! it didn't get permafrost or ice on it at all?!" Cirno was now the one hyperventilating with the thought of something that wasn't inherently hot or warm getting permafrost at least and a tree at that. "C-cirno remember we got relaxation so you go first!" As Clownpiece with a bit of strength that was not there before pushing the ice fairy into the Vasty deep without warning causing her to scream undignified all the way into the Vasty deep

After the beach thread

As Cirno and Daiyousei left the warm and frankly too hot beaches of the vasty deep’s they saw that all too uncomforting white of the nexus; They began to have clearer heads due to fairy biology giving them faster metabolisms. Daiyousei saw cirno take off making a bee-line for a specific portal. The greater fairy had to speed along to keep up with the ice fairy who was moving at a speed that clearly showed her showing restraint.


As Daiyousei reached cirno she looked to her left and saw Cirno with  a determined look on her face as she raced across the nexus. “So why do you fight Reimu almost everyday? I mean i can understand that you call yourself the strongest but doesn’t it hurt getting beaten every time?”


Cirno let her mind run through every loss she had suffered, every pain she held, and how painful each loss was. “Red-white is someone i look up too, she can do the impossible beating even yukari was beaten by her; though that was because of spell card rules most likely if they were not in place she would not be standing.”


As Cirno sighed as she created a large snowflake “My . . . danmaku at best is boring. I try to make it cool but given that i’m facing patterns such as Red-whites or Sakuya’s.” She clenches her hands in anger and starts to sob. “I-it hurts so much when i lose every time i fought Red-white everyday losing everyday. It hurts so much Daiyousei.”


After that the two fly in silence before walking into the camelot gate.
