Roster lockdown

So, I'm notoriously known for swapping my characters constantly, and being horrible at sticking to anything or anyone.
That is something I want to work on, so that for once, I could maybe get somewhere.

So, I hereby request, that my swapping of either Jaina or Nova, would be prevented for the next 6 months.
If possible, I would like to include a caveat to this as follows: 
If the staff member "Dark Link" deems that my situation is f**ked up enough to permit a swap, he could allow me to do so ahead of time.
He has the full details on what kind of situation would have to occur, for him to allow it ahead of time.

I ain't staff, but the answer will likely be "no", for a few reasons.

First, it's better for you to switch a lot and stay here than to never switch, lose motivation, and drop the site. We'd rather have an active player who switches all the time than someone who stuck with a character and is never around.

Secondly, if a 6 week lock isn't enough yo dissuade you, it's unlikely that a 6 month lock will do much more.

Lastly, no one can really force you not to switch except for you. Plenty of folks are willing to assist you in sticking it out, and lots of resources on the site to help you find motivation. Both staff and regular members want you to succeed. It's a better solution for me to offer my Skype whenever you need to discuss your characters than to straight up lock you into something, even by your own wishes.

The lockdown will take into effect today, 17th of March, at 23:59 GMT and will end on the 17th of September at 23:59 GMT+1 (it's the same timezone, adjusted for daylight savings). I will make a note of this in both of your logs so that staff in general is aware of this arrangement.

I will add that Omni and the Archangel (Alex) will also have the authority to override the lockdown, both for obvious reasons as well as the fact that leaving the authority over this matter solely in the hands of a single staff member would be inefficient.
