the great skeleton and the forgotten child join forces

As Chara, walked through the portal she saw Papyrus a few feet away from the portal looking around. She then looked around to see trees that were probably a mile in height, a large plethora of plants and animals. As she walked forward she saw him turn towards her. "Hello human, I am the great papyrus what is your name." he held out a gloved hand

She then had a flashback, she was a ghost again and Frisk was engaging battle with Papyrus. she tried to block out the words papyrus said but it had little effect, at this point the skeleton had fallen in one hit. "I know you can do a little better; even if you don't think so" he turned to dust at that point.

She jolted back into reality, she was on the verge of tears, her arms were holding her, and she was rocking back and forth. "Are you ok human? I did not mean to scare you." She sniffed and got up. "im fine, my name is Chara, nice to meet you." She shook the hand and got up.

She then realized that it was hot and humid here; so she decided to spend a little more time at the gate summoning along sleeve shirt with the same pattern as the sweater and parka she had. Once it was summoned she took off the sweater and slipped on the long sleeved shirt before putting the sweater into the knapsack she had.

She then turned to Papyrus who was training by the looks of it with a bone, and asked "May I follow you, as I don't have anywhere really i'm heading to?"

As Chara posted the picture she felt papyrus take the phone out of her hands and start to type something on it. "Give it back papyrus! that is mine!" she started to wine as she was much shorter than the skeleton; who started to mess with it. After a while she managed to grab it, and she puts it in her pocket, so papyrus doesn't grab it again.

She then grabbed the skeletons gloved hand and pulled him along as he would get himself killed if she didn't keep a eye on him. She felt someone or thing look at her just from a distance and she looks around before shaking her head and continuing into the jungle with Papyrus in tow.

After a while of walking she felt her phone ring, she lets papyrus's hand and snaps open her flip phone to see the reflection of a creature sneaking up behind the two of them, it rushed the two of them heading for the kid. She in one swift motion had her knife out and was fighting the, reptilian animal with one large toe. She thinks its a Utah Raptor but cant be too shure. "Papyrus get ready for company!" Papyrus nodded and summoned his bone staff and spun it before the two were back to back. Chara with her real knife, and Papyrus with the quarter staff.

Well then they saw the pack pop there head up in the dozen's. "Oh shi....' The two saw a flower pop up and thorny vines gave them a slight defense. ' Flowey nice to see ya." She then stabbed the neck of one of the reptiles before kicking it away.

Flowey mockingly said "Is this one of Alphy's many experiments gone wrong?" He then hit a Utah raptor with his pellets.

Papyrus was quickly making work by knocking them away but not killing them. "Papyrus we have to kill here, if you don't we all will die."

"I don't care taking there lives is not right." Papyrus put up a wall of five bones to slow there advance if for only a few seconds. Chara started to sweat and once she had a chance to move she grabbed papyrus and glitched to a near by branch while Flowey moved up the a different tree.

As Chara, and Papyrus started to move they quickly lost each other and the dinosaurs in there wake as they gave up on there hunt. Once she jumped down from the tree it was quite dark where she was and she heard rustling in the bushes around her. She heard a whisper and felt something that was never there before since her time here in this god forsaken place, the smiling one brought her to. Her scratches on her body quickly turned jet black on one side and covered her right side, while her normal eye gained black goop that ran down her face and would not stop.

She held out her hand and started her trek to the nearest settlement to sate her blood thirst for now. "must kill, Love is the name of the game and you are just a pawn while i'm a queen." She quickly found a settlement but did not give enough time to think about who she was attacking but once the ten people living out in the middle of nowhere had died. She then realized what she did, and say that a message had been sent to ambrosia for help.

She ransacked what ever items of use to her before heading. A rusack, a couple days rations, a lantern (hopefully she didn't break it again), and a set of clothes that fit her surprisingly well; before she headed off to this Ambrosia to see if there was anyone who could help her problem out.

As the demon who comes when people call its name walked down the path, she felt the hate disappear for now, before seeing that she leveled up to level twenty one on a screen that popped up before disappearing right after. The tree's were probably miles in height and around a hundred years in age. She saw many birds of paradise fly doing some sort of mating ritual, bugs were everywhere, and it was hot and humid to make it worse. She anticipated the Geno-weed had followed the tall and lanky skeleton.

She didn't worry that Papyrus would die, If papyrus met sans if he was here. Flowey would have a bad time, that was the only concern of hers. She decided to lay her back on a tree and see what rations there could be; even though she didn't have to eat due to her special case. She found one that was some sort of clam chowder and with it a brownie. She decided to make a backpacking stove as she forgot to grab one from the inventory of the settlement.

After a few minutes she had a backpacking stove that was gas powered. And ten minutes later she has her lunch ready to eat. She grabbed the brownie and took a bite of it, and then felt her nerves start to relax. She muttered something about chocolate and how the underground really pailed in compared to the quality of food here except this brownie was stale sadly. She got up, packed everything up and decided to head in the direction that first popped into her head, and that was south east.

After what seemed to be forever and what was not making navigating this place any easier was that everything looked basically the same. She found herself at what seemed to be a colonial era place? "what in the heck, where did I walk into?" She could see things floating, talking, even working to name a few a key, a green big man, and a weird creature holding a piece of timber. She decided to head further into this place to see where she could find a scientist; preferably a monster from the underground Alphy's ... How was she doing? Chara then got a whiff of some sort of sugar, and headed towards the smell hopeing they didn't have stale chocolate products.

Once deeper into the settlement she saw a sign that said welcome to ambrosia in almost a mix of bubble, and comic sans fonts; She had to wonder; who was the person that gave the order to use these font's. Then she realized that Guu was in power here, due to her saying that she did. Chara found the source of the smell, to be some sort of factory although it said emporium; and entered to find a club with more of the weird creatures working what looked like round the clock.

Chara took a seat and waited for someone to take her order. She quickly found a creature that was shaped like a sunflower; give her a menu and she began to flip though the menu before finding a chocolate cake. "Can I have the ten chocolate cake? and just a fork I have my own knife I can use." The Sunflower nodded and headed off to give the order to the cook's. Chara heard someone whisper to her to turn around and she saw Flowey grinning as he hung from a pipe, and he gave a look that just screamed genocide. "Hey Azzy' Chara turned around and put her hands on the back of the wood chair before continuing.

'Why are you here? I thought you were following Papyrus to help him?" Flowey shook his head, before takeing a good long look around the place then he spoke. "Speaking of skeletons, I'm going to look around, and maybe get some sun outside; enjoy your meal!" Flowey waved with his little leaf, before heading off doing what ever popped into his head.

Chara turned around to see that the creature was back with the slice of cake. it was three layers with a bar of chocolate on top as decoration. The demon thanked the Sunflower, before pulling out her real knife and eat while tuning into conversations around her. She didn't hear anything of interest so she just tuned everyone out ,and pulled her flip phone out before calling her base, to see that someone actually picked up reception.

 It was a bull monster, the black smith of the settlement. "Hello this is Chara, how are things going on? And something I would like you monsters to do is to start building a lab for determination research. second executive order is to gain attention by trading something of worth to either Darkshire or the Camelot verse. Now report" The bull rubbed his hands before speaking. "Well we will undertake the plans you have devised, its just that the assault may hit us next. As you know how we didn't help the assault. I would suggest that we move to a safer verse. That is all that has happened at this point; Connecting off now." The screen turned off and Chara sighed as she closed the phone before eating the cake.

She felt something big was coming, she didn't know what but everyone would be in danger if it won; "god help us all." and she ate another piece.

As Chara finished her Cake she had a thought; What if I wrote about a important story from her past that she cherished? She after five minutes summoned a book, and a pencil and started to write.

The story of two wizards.

There were two powerful wizards who created a barrier to hold the monsters underground. They both ruled the kingdom with a just rule; and the kingdom was prospering from the peace. Till one day the two of them had differing opinions on if they should free the monsters. The Wizard of Determination wanted to free the monsters while the Wizard of Bravery wanted to keep them sealed away to protect the people. Bravery confident in her powers challenged Determination to a dual, If Determination could beat her, then they could destroy the barrier and let the monsters free.

Bravery was much more powerful, but as the battle dragged on ;Bravery saw a strong power in the other wizard. Bravery grew weaker and weaker while Determination grew stronger. Till the battle was over and Determination was victorious. Bravery felt humiliated with her loss and thus lost her trait, and with it her magic. Bravery banished herself to look for a soul that was stronger than determination. But alas, she found it.

To change ones soul, a powerful, but dangerous and forbidden spell. However her humiliation, drove her to care not for the laws of magic. She came back to Challenge the soul of Determination once more. During there final confrontation *the word is blotted out for some reason* power overcame Determination's. Instead of growing stronger as the battle continues, Determination lost more and more power as the battle progressed.

The kingdom went into ruin because of the destruction the battle brought. She came out victorious and shattered the very soul of Determination. Due to the sudden change, her soul could not compensate and started to shatter. In her final act she sacrificed her soul, to create the most powerful and destructive being imaginable. One who's soul purpose was to never let humans and monsters live in peace.

Chara finished up the last paragraph, and put the rough draft into her bag before getting up; and deciding to head to Coruscant as it seemed like a place she should head to again. She took one last good look at the place paid her tip and price, before getting the heck out of dodge, and back into the jungle of lots o deadly things.

After a while she managed to reach the portal before wonder what powered these portals? could it be Omnilium or magic? as technology was unlikely. She made a rough draft of the portal, that would have to do as she wanted to not spend more time. She finally walked through the portal into the white abyss ahead.

The skeleton walks among the woods, lost in thought. That child was familiar to him, and he doesn't know why. Their fighting spirit, their small stature, even the clothes they wear. It all reminded him of Frisk. Staff in hand, he continues to walk, looking around the area.

What is he going to do now? He has no idea where he is. Chara and Flowery left him pretty much immediately after the raptors lost interest. He has no idea the way back to the gate, so he can't just ditch and look somewhere else. After a minute, he decides to focus on his surroundings and see how it could help him. Trees are positioned all around him, making it dangerous to drive his car in the area, with no real path set out. Tall trees of most varieties formed homes for the local wildlife. A bug is crawling up one of the tree's roots.

Turning, he can see...A clearing in the trees. If he had to guess, about 5 feet wide. Seems passable, though there's no direct path leading into it. He can also see an animal of some sort - he can't really tell from here - on the other side of the path, likely searching for food.

Without another thought, he turns, beginning to walk towards the clearing with a spring in his step. However, he halts himself, hearing a voice behind him.

"Sir?"

Turning, Papyrus keeps his optimistic smile as he sees the human behind him. Tall, male, with tan skin and a noticeable lack of hair, as well as dark brown eyes. He's wearing a lab coat. He has a message of some sort in his hands.

"GREETINGS, HUMAN!" the skeleton greets.

"Greetings. I'm looking for able-bodied Primes for help," he states. "We need as many willing fighters as we can get."

"WELL, IF HELP IS WHAT YOU WANT...THEN I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WOULD BE HAPPY TO PROVIDE!!"

The human nods - not the most extravagant person he's met in his days, it seems - before handing Papyrus the paper. "Read this. If you're still interested in helping, I can lead you to Dr. Regal's lab."

The Monster then reads.

It appears to be a call to action of sorts. Someone by the name of Dr. Regal requires assistance with something - the details appear to be somewhat vague, but the skeleton gets the general idea - it's a request for assistance.

Papyrus nods, the human taking this as a silent acceptance of his proposal.

"Follow me."

The two then begin to leave the woods, towards the gate back to the white canvas that is the Nexus.
