Once they had arrived back in the Vasty Deep, they'd arrived on a small island that had no shortage of snow.

"We must find a way to my island from here."

Sombra's side was bleeding due to the fight. The gash was nasty looking, and deep. Even his armor had been damaged by the battle, but he wouldn't admit to it, right now. Unfortunately, not even the cold of the current island they were on could soothe the agony he was in. The trolls were going to be wiped out or enslaved, preferably the latter when he got his power back.  "We have much work to be done. Come Young Pupil, let us away to my island where we will begin your lessons in the arts of dark magic. You will also obtain a communicator and a Mobile Dataverse Device of some sort."

They were going to need a boat or preferably a ship to get them the hell off this island. Sombra's plans were not going to be stopped by something as simple as an injury. Every step he took pain shot through his body like fiery lances. Sombra cursed Omni and all of his supporters to a slow and painful demise for taking away his shadow form. It was something he definitely needed back but had no idea how to regain. What was wrong with him? Was he a weakling? Apparently so in the Omniverse.

<From Revelation>

The journey through the gate had led to another island full of snow though Revan had been assured this was not the case wherever Sombra's home was located.
It seemed Sombra would require a boat to be transported to his island and Revan knew not where to look for one.

The island was still snowy it seemed but was far less cold which meant he could take a moment to warm himself up and adjust to the warmer temperature.
He wondered if the island was safe from danger however but presumed for now at least it was safer then where they had come from a moment ago.

A small town appeared to exist on the island which was not too surprising. Yet he desired to learn a bit more about the different cultures this one it seemed was fairly different and a fair number of other humans also existed here which actually made him feel slightly more at home then he had been in the former wasteland.

The homes were mostly made of wood and stone much like ones back in his own world though upon seeing some other strange creatures he realized that there were probably plenty that felt far less at home then he did. Turning back to look at Sombra he wondered exactly what world his new found friend had come from and if it had been a safe world and if the pony had family or not.

"Sombra what were things like in your own world I mean was it that different to things here?" asked Revan interested in learning more about the pony

"I take it your world did not have Trolls or Dwarves in it that is probably something more unique to this world" said Revan knowing that Omni would have made this world more dangerous if it entertained him more

Revan wondered if this place had the Trolls and the Dwarves they had just met or if they were only found in the snow land they had come from.
He was not currently wanting another fight but to him knowledge was always valuable and he would like to learn more about the forms of life that existed here.

It did seem he noticed that Sombra was wounded from the fight earlier which was worrying yet he was not about to say anything about it just yet.
The battle he had to admit had been tough and he had been thrown around a fair amount as well such wounds he presumed however would heal in time.

Sombra had then referred to him as young pupil which brought a smile to his face he was amused by the ponies intention of taking him as a student.
He did however know many magical spells which if nothing else Revan would need to learn to fight against other opponents that perhaps used the same power.

Sombra had also spoken of such things as a communicator and some other mobile thing he was not sure Sombra had said which he had to admit intrigued him.
He did not have these tools that Sombra spoke of and was not yet entirely sure how to get them since he had no idea what they appeared as or what they actually did.

"I am unsure of what those items you speak of are but I would very much like to learn" he said deciding to be honest about his lack of knowledge

He continued to consider learning more about his pony companion and he wondered what other things the pony knew that he could learn about.
He continued moving across the island it seemed reasonably large and he wondered why Omni had supposedly made all this at least if he actually had made it all which was still up for speculation.

"So you came from some other place what happened when you first arrived here?" he asked curious if every other being had the same experience he had

He was unsure of exactly how much Sombra knew this place even if he did have a home here he figured that very little knew much of anything in this world.
He could do little but follow Sombra for the moment though he found himself looking at the ocean and wondered how many strange creatures and other islands awaited him to find.

"Do you know your way around this place Sombra?" he asked wondering if the pony would be honest with him

He also wondered what kind of company Sombra had and if he knew anybody that lived around here and if he even bothered to speak to him.
He saw a small stall over to his side and for a moment decided to wander off to stare at what sort of items the place had.

The stall was run by an old man so it seemed and many bits and pieces were spread out for him to see though he had no idea what any of it was.
He saw weapons that much was obvious even ones he had not seen before he recognized though many other items remained that he could not even guess what they did.

"Greetings" said the old man approaching though his smile faded slightly when he realized that Revan was a dangerous prime

"Greetings old man I am Revan Noctis and I have come far I could not help but notice what you have here and was interested in learning and perhaps purchasing some things from you" said Revan doing his best to smile back despite the mans obvious sudden change

"Forgive me but primes usually choose to create their own items" said the man apparently he had just been surprised

Revan supposed he understood he had seen Sombra pull items out of thin air personally and he wondered if this was something he could do as well.
Still he could not imagine giving up on these stalls all together back home he had rather enjoyed finding and learning of new items and that would not change now.

"So what is this place anyway?" Revan asked the old man wondering more about this world

"You have entered the Vasty Deeps the place you came from was the Frozen Fields in case you were unsure" said the old man smiling again obviously aware now that he was fairly new to the world

"Take this" said the man handing over a small well crafted item with bits of gold covering the top

"What is it?" asked Revan trying to figure out what it does

"Nothing right now but when you are ready you will be able to turn it into whatever you want" said the old man with perhaps more meaning behind his words then Revan knew

"I would be careful of your new friend he may not be what you necessarily think he is" said the man then moving away

Revan did not know what to think about that last comment but decided to keep it in mind regardless.
He turned to and then decided to meet back up with Sombra who had by now hopefully found transport.

"Have you managed to gain transport Sombra?" he asked wondering if the pony needed help acquiring such a thing and if the lack of hands would cause the pony trouble
#3
They were now in the Vasty Deep. When Revan had finished with the vendor he had been talking to, King Sombra noticed him approach. A question was asked. Did he have transportation ready for them? This was one that was easily answered.

"Yes, I do have a ride for us ready."

Near the port of the island was a small crystal boat that looked...pure evil. The boat wasn't armed, but looked menacing. It likely was capable of scaring any weaker willed secondaries away from it, as well as weak willed primes.

"Remember my pupil. When you get to my island, you will follow my training regiment to the letter. I will not just be teaching you the brand of magic that I use. I will also teach you a more useful form of magic for your size and lack of a horn. This magic is called "Runes" and will allow you to apply it to items. Even if I am incapable of using that power anymore you should be able to make it your own. It might work, it might not. I don't know yet. Anyway what you do with such lessons will be up to you Revan Noctic, my pupil."

"A communicator allows you to contact other primes you have come in contact with. A Mobile Dataverse Device allows you to access the information hidden on the Dataverse. Both of those will come in handy for you I do believe, my student. But I will also be arming you with a sword better than the pitiful one you wield now. There is a lot to be done and little time to do it my pupil."

Once they had arrived on King Sombra's island, King Sombra summoned up a black tunic, jeans and boots along with a jacket that had the symbol of Sombra's flag on it. "Change into this and your lessons will begin my pupil."
#4
Revan Noctis had been pleased to have some of his questions answered yet he was still quite unsure of what the Dataverse was he after all had only just been introduced into this Omniverse.
Either way he had climbed into the menacing looking boat and had now arrived at the island that Sombra claimed to own and he wondered if he had bought the island or if it had been unclaimed.

Sombra then threw what appeared to be training clothes at him which had his mark on it which was in truth quite a surprise to him.
He would have preferred to have kept his armour on but he chose to be nice and wear it regardless at least for now.

He however did not like the way Sombra spoke about his sword that had if he recalled helped him through more times then he could count already.
The sword had even helped Sombra now and he for the moment trusted it far more then he did himself at this time.

"So did you make these just now or were you expecting me?" Revan joked looking over the clothes he was now wearing

"I suppose I am ready to begin when your ready Sombra" he said unsure exactly how much of this magic he was going to end up learning if any at all

It had not failed to occur to him that so far the pony had specifically stated that this was dark magic which did worry him slightly.
He had after all not had intention of becoming a dark magic user when he had first been supposedly sucked into this world.

Still he could not deny the usefulness of having a few extra tricks up his sleeve though now Sombra was speaking of Runes which was something new.
He chose to simply listen rather then speak for the moment though he was certain that Sombra was not doing this just for him.

It did seem though that Sombra had been correct about his island it was as it seemed much warmer here which still continued to confuse him.
After all how was it that these placed could be connected by gates which went against everything he had ever actually known which he realized was perhaps very little.

He wanted answers but he doubted Sombra knew much even if he had magic in his own world he doubted that it compared to the power that Omni currently had.
It was however possible that Omni did not even exist and that was just a name chosen by somebody that did not want their identity revealed.

"Sombra just one question do you know anything else about Omni and his powers maybe your world had heard of him cause mine certainly had not" he said wondering if perhaps any trace of Omni had been lost to time or if he was actually rather new

"If Omni exists are there more like him out there and if so how high is he on his own food chain and is there any hope of us escaping this world at all?" he asked these questions he was not exactly expecting Sombra to know he just wanted to think out loud

He realized he had not had time to think about his situation that much since he left that strange place that he had awoken at it seemed to have all happened so fast.
He was not even sure if his own world was worth going back to at this point after all his mind had already been opened if he were to go back now his old world would seem rather boring in comparison.

Yes it seemed he was stuck here in this world and currently had no way of knowing if he could ever leave it nevermind if he would ever leave it.
He supposed his sense of adventure was rather strong yet he knew the dangers were very real and that he would be a fool to continue on without heed.

He had so far seen only the first area he had awakened in the frozen fields and now this place that actually appeared even bigger.
Though it had the illusion he knew the ocean here would not lead to anywhere else only the gates conjoined the different places together.

Unlike in his former world it seemed many mysteries and unknowns surrounded the land presumedly split up by Omni to force them into entertainment.
It then occured to him that his own curiosity could and most likely would be the death of him a hundred times over if he did and he was certainly considering it hunting every last piece of the puzzle down.

He wondered for a moment how Omni viewed the world was it purely boredom that led to him wanting entertainment or was it perhaps even more sinister then they realized.
So many questions that needed to be answered he wondered if writing all of this down would have proven far better for him.

He would accept knowledge and power from the dark magic Sombra would teach him only so that he may learn the truth about what this world truly was and if it affected the world outside it at all.
He wanted to meet up with Omni eventually to find answers to his questions though he was sure Omni would probably keep an eye on him he presumed Omni was not actually a deity but perhaps something far less predictable.

He had been probably staring at Sombra for some time and it occurred to him he had not been listening to anything about the magic Sombra had been trying to teach him.
If he was going to grow in power he would need to learn about this Omnilium just as much as the dark magic Sombra seemed to so badly wished to teach him.

"Do you think the dark magic would have any effect on Omni?" he asked he himself doubtful that it would

The look Sombra gave him when he mentioned Omni always seemed to be far different he could tell that Sombra was unlike him far more displeased at being brought here.
Revan wondered if that was because he had been happy in his own world or if it was simply his ego that made him feel what he did though it mattered little to him in truth.

He would travel to the place known as the Pale Moors soon to find more answers though he was happy with what he had learned about the world so far.
He also wondered if once he got the pieces to the puzzle if he would even be able to piece them together but that required hope still he knew Sombra was more interested in his own vendetta.

For now he truly just had to focus on the lessons that Sombra would teach him and how he applied these new abilities would most certainly be his own decision.
He was not going to allow himself to be used for any cause he himself did not approve of but was he even capable of becoming more powerful or would he be stuck where he was now.

He was interested in knowing what spells he would be able to learn he needed something with a bit more kick to it anyway.
He attempted to recall the spells that Sombra had used earlier they had been quite efficient though he was not certain how many actually suited him.

"Do you think we could possibly start with more defensive spells?" Revan asked interested in seeing what he could use to defend himself from a future Troll attack

"As much as I would love to say I know much about Omni, I don't. In theory my magic should be able to affect him, but I am not entirely sure if it can actually do any harm to him. Given he was able to bring me here against my will, and rip all of my magic from my body I am not entirely certain he could be defeated oh so easily. In any case we shall begin your lessons. For starters I shall introduce you to the aspects you must choose from. Only one will be your dominant emotion that allows you to use dark magic."

A pause was done by Sombra.

"Fear."

"Greed"

"Anger"

"Lust"

"Envy"

"Misery"

"Betrayal"

"Cruelty."

"Pride"

"Corruption."

"Those are your options to choose from dark magic wise. Only one of them can be your primary focus for Dark Magic. Choose carefully. Each has it's own strengths, and it's own weaknesses. I must practice two new spells I just thought up while you make up your mind. When you go to the Pale Moors you will have a communicator. You will also be able to stay in touch with me. As I have work to do around here that cannot be delayed unfortunately. Therefore you'll be on your own in the Pale Moors, my student."

Revan Noctis nodded in reply he understood that Sombra did not know much yet he hoped Sombra the best he supposed that was all he could do at least for now.
It was true that Sombra must have been pretty powerful himself before coming here to the Omniverse which must have been quite scary and must have angered him greatly.

Revan was excited to hear the aspects that Sombra spoke of however he was annoyed that he would be limited to only one dominant emotion.
As Sombra listed them off he found the whole idea rather amusing oh he knew Sombra was serious but he wondered how they would help him here.

"Lust Sombra?" he asked wondering if Sombra was serious on that one and how it would help him

"So which do you use Sombra?" he asked presuming he already knew the answer

He thought through them wondering what suited him after all he was not entirely sure if this was completely necessary.
He frowned when he was told Sombra would not be joining him which made him wonder what was so damn important here if Sombra intended to leave.

Fear would be good but he did not truly want to be known as one to inspire fear it was not really his style.
Greed disgusted him and he had no reason not to shave it from the list without a second thought.

Anger seemed the most logical although he wondered what the downside to it was he had no true idea of what the benefits were to any in truth.
Lust just brought a smile to his face he could not help it how would that help him in a fight he wondered.

Envy, Misery and Betrayal sounded rather depressing to him in all honesty and he was here to gain power not make himself feel bad.
Cruelty, Pride and Corruption still seemed too excessive for what he wanted out of this after all he just wanted to be able to do some cool stuff.

"So Sombra what are the benefits and drawbacks exactly remember I have no experience with any magic" he said reminding Sombra he would have no idea where to start

Without Sombra he was going to need far more power yet he was unsure exactly how to begin learning magic out of nowhere.
He wondered if he should read a magic book or meditate maybe even pray to some pony god he honestly had no idea.

"Got any tips or tricks?" he asked half jokingly it was possible Sombra knew some stuff that made this go faster but he doubted it

"I am presuming you have some books?" he asked for certain Sombra must have had some magic books lying around what good mage did not have magical books after all

Doing his own thing thing he decides to try meditating that is what the monks did back in his own world after all though he was doubtful it ever really helped anybody.
He found his mind wandering not surprising considering all that had happened though he was hopeful it would be possible in the future after some more time had passed.

His other attempt was to recall what Sombra had done though he had no horn he figured maybe his hands would be enough.
Reaching out with his first arm he stretched his fingers but as he expected nothing exciting happened.

Reaching out two hands he closed his eyes and stretched his arms and fingers as far out as they would go and thought of the powers he had seen Sombra used.
Finally he dropped his arms and opened his eyes it seemed that plan had failed perhaps he was just not capable of magical powers.

"Sombra you sure my species is capable of this?" he asked feeling slightly embarrassed by his futile attempts

He finally sat down in defeat once again and closed his eyes trying once more to think of the powers that he had seen.
An image of the fight they had been in earlier against the Trolls and he thought of what Sombra had said about emotion.

He opened his eyes quickly realizing that he had felt the emotions swilring within him which made him wonder if what Sombra said about the emotions were true.
How would he unlock the emotions if he were to use them however he was unsure exactly how to do so but was willing to keep trying.

It seemed at least for now he could not get it to work and he had tried as hard as he could so far to achieve gaining some level of power.
Looking up at Sombra he watched the pony learning its new found abilities he wished that Sombra did not act so smug clearly he was trying his best after all.

It was then he moved over and grabbed his blade he brought it over and placed at his knees as he kneeled before it wondering if his tie to the blade would help.
He looked down at his reflection in the mirror he looked slightly worse for wear after the snow blizzards but was still looking Ok despite what he had been through.

"I must learn to do this" he said out loud closing his eyes and picturing his sword in his mind

He went over his sword skills in his mind and the battle that had taken place earlier and the Trolls that he had personally killed.
It seemed that this was going to be a lot more difficult then he had hopes and he wondered if there was not perhaps something that he was missing.

He then got up picked up his sword and decided to go search for something to fight however it seemed he quickly found a training dummy though amusingly enough it was in the shape of a pony. Clearly ponies were at least one of the dominant races wherever Sombra had come from and Sombra had presumably fought his own kind.

Swinging angrily at the training dummy he lodged his sword in the body just below the things neck most likely an easy killing blow yet rather unrealistic in difficult.
He placed the sword down and instead decided to use his fists it would be a far greater challenge after all hitting the dummy would hurt slightly but right now he was fine with that.

The Dummy twirled on its stand as he hit it again and again he had built up some level of anger and wondered if that would be his dominant emotion.
He doubted it mattered he had no magical ability in him and he knew it Sombra had wasted his time making him his student and he wondered why the pony had even done such a thing.

Perhaps he could use the Omnilium to help him though he was wary of using it after all the one that had kidnapped him had clearly named the stuff after him or her whatever Omni was. Still he figured it was worth a try as the rainbow ball of power seemingly poured out of his hand rather easily seemingly swirling with the anger he was feeling in his body.

"How does this stuff even work" he wondered yet he quickly realized already knew

Sitting down again Revan began to meditate once again this time allowing himself to use his emotion and keeping the Omnilium out.
Keeping his eyes closed he began to feel the power he had over the energy as he began to shape it using only the image in his mind.

It seemed he finally had a place to start if he could manipulate the Omnilium better perhaps the magical abilities would become more accessible to him.
He just needed time now time to practice and become more experienced and perhaps soon he would be able to use magic as easily as Sombra or perhaps even better.

"Lust was an emotion that the Changelings, a species of shapeshifters in my world used. They could transform into the loved ones and feed off of that power which sustained them. Since you don't want to use that, but want to learn more... let's see here. Anger could give you great power indeed but comes at a price. Should you lose yourself to your rage you would become little more than a mindless berserker like I once was. In the past I wielded the power of the emotion of Anger. Since then I have switched to Pride but still maintain the ability to use all of those powers, but Lust. I have done so through intensive training that I have pushed myself to do. Pride provides you more power, but it is a slower power that doesn't corrupt you as much as anger. Corruption relies on your ability to influence others and make them serve your will. "

Sombra paused as he watched him for a moment. What was wrong was Sombra thought that others of his kind might be in the Omniverse. If they were here he'd need allies in order to help him humiliate Omni and best the bastard. Besting him was not going to be an easy task by any definition of the word. Even if he had his full power he'd be hesitant to fight Omni without some soldiers behind him. Sombra's horn lit, but he couldn't scan Revan with his magic. Somehow he couldn't detect if Revan could use magic or not.

"I believe your species should be capable of such, if old Equestrian Lore is to be believed. "

Watching Revan go to town on the dummy with his sword and then his fists, King Sombra paused. Revan was certainly determined because he was using the power of Omnilium. "It seems in order to begin your lessons in dark magic, I must first teach you how to properly create items out of Omnilium and how to use it. I don't use books. Most of my instruction will be by demonstration. This is because I believe it the finest way you could learn how to handle a power. However you still need to make a communicator. So I will show you mine."

Sombra summoned the crystal ball that was his communicator.  "Make your own out of Omnilium. You'll need it in the days to come. Our fight with the trolls made me realize just how weak I was. My power will need to grow before I join you in the Pale Moors."
#8
Revan Noctis looked at the communicator Sombra had shown him it was an interesting bit of technology and he wondered how it worked.
He presumed at least Sombra's worked on magic and in this case the Omnilium was clearly being used and he wondered then why Omni felt he needed to strip primes of their power.

"Thanks" he replied upon receiving the communicator as a suggestion

"You did not seem that weak earlier" he added feeling that Sombra had done well against the Trolls

Sitting and Meditating he decided now to attempt creating this so called communication device that Sombra told him could come in handy.
In truth he found it difficult to believe anybody but Sombra would be worth communicating with and after he left for his own adventure the device would certainly be useless.

If he got into trouble would Sombra even bother coming to his rescue this he found himself in doubt of.
Still the ability to use this Omnilium for something finally was quite useful and the practice would serve him even better for the future.

As he thought of how he wanted the communicator to appear he focused on it as he felt the Omnilium finally taking a stable and powerful form.
Opening his eyes he saw what was being made a small blunt pure black crystal was taking shape in front of him.

As it continued to form he noticed red writing appear on it suddenly though he had no knowledge of what it said or where it had come from.
The black crystal then floated over to him before landing in his grip as he grabbed it out of the air and turned it over in his hand studying every inch of it.

"Strange might take some getting used to" he said continuing to study the object

"This and using Omnilium and magic in general" said Revan finally getting up off of the ground once again.

His first task had been completed and of this he was quite proud though he was still left wanting more yet he did not want to over do himself.
He found himself wondering why though Sombra was so obsessed with crystals and turning to him decided it was worth the question.

"So why do you like crystals so much anyway?" he asked wondering if Sombra had even asked it to himself

Soon he would need to travel to the Pale Moos though after all that training nd learning he fugured he had earned himself a small rest.
Looking around he wondered if he should  inform Sombra or if he should have just left the pony to continue his personal study though finally he chose the former.

"Hey Sombra I feel like I could do with some rest now before I prepare for my next adventure" he said wondering how the pony would react

He sure hoped Sombra did not sleep on crystals as well that would have been stranger then anything else so far.
He reminded himself at some point he probably needed to eat and drink something as well though that would need to most likely wait until he rested from the Troll attack.

This world was still so strange to him and he knew he had barely even touched the surface of what it had to show him he only had to do his best to live long enough to see it.
Before he left this land he would be sure to speak to the locals again to find out what other secrets he needed to know perhaps they even knew about the Pale Moors that he was so eager to see yet knew nothing about.

He was enjoying greatly getting to know the world around him and what the different places were called yet nobody it seemed not even Sombra had seen the whole world yet.
He wished that Sombra was more interested in exploring with him yet it seemed not meant to be he would journey alone at least until someone else decided to join him.

Now he needed to discover where his room was but first he decided to pick up his clothes and armour as he pulled them up to his chest level and held them there.
He figured before he left maybe he would need to look around a bit more there was plenty of interesting sights to see here even the odd boats appeared interesting.

He was unsure of what a pony like Sombra ate but he would hope there would be some supplies for him to pack though right now he just wanted a bed.
He began to make his way out of the training area as he studied the place he found Sombra definitely had so far done somewhat ok for himself though he could tell Sombra himself was not yet satisfied.

The home was from what he could tell not too alien to him he found moving about it to be easy enough though it was filled with a few surprises such was a home designed more for hooves and a magical horn. He finally found some stairs as he climbed up them hoping he was going the right way he found himself slightly worried that Sombra may not approve of him moving through out his home alone but surely Sombra had expressed trust in him.

It had taken some time but finally he arrived at the top of the stairs it seemed Sombra liked stairs as much as he did his crystals which was quite odd but he had no right to complain. putting his armour and clothes down he began moving down the hallway looking through the rooms most of the doors appeared locked and he wondered how many secrets Sombra actually had.

Finally he found a door that stood out it was the only one that did not have a lock on it and as he opened it he found it contained only a bed and a closet.
He figured this must have been his new room and he hoped Sombra had not needed the room for anything else before he came here.

Moving back he picked up his belongings and moved down the hall again to begin experiencing his room.
Sitting on the bed he found it comfortable and satisfactory though he did not have much to place into the closet and for the moment made the decision to leave his things laying on the bed.

He had to smile slightly when he saw by his bed a small crystal lamp that upon touch began to glow a soft blue light no doubt it could prove useful within the future. He did kind of miss his own home and wondered if he would eventually get a home in this Omniverse that belonged to him though he did not know if there was any order in this world when it came to housing.

Perhaps Omni would offer him a home or he would simply have to go out and choose one either way he figured there were no guards out here from what he could tell to stop any sort of crime or to stop any sort of problems or accidents. It was it seemed a land without any kind of king at least from what he could tell.

He had noticed though that Sombra thought himself a king and perhaps in a world without one maybe he one day would be it was not his place to currently say yes or no to such a matter. He knew though if he stayed here no doubt the deadly game of politics would show its ugly head eventually and when it did with so many strange creatures of all types who knew what decisions and matter he would need to one day be apart of. That was if he lived to see it.

While his ally slept, the dark king who had formerly ruled the Crystal Empire was not sleeping. Revan thought he wasn't weak, when he had faced the trolls. Well, unfortunately he was wrong. His skill levels had been pathetic when he had combated them. It was time for him to get his hooves dirty and get some actual practice in. Magic was something that any prime could do here apparently. His efforts to teach Revan to make a communicator had been nothing short of pathetic. Of course there was also another matter. Without his skills his life was going to be in constant danger from any primes who saw fit to hunt him down and murder him. Throughout the night, King Sombra had practiced all of his moves with an obsessive determination that was unlike him. A couple of new spells had even been designed by him, Retaliatory Shield and Dark Crystalline Bash. But they weren't enough, on their own.

"You didn't make a communicator properly...Revan." said Sombra when he saw him. "You'd better head to the Pale Moors and from there we will meet again when my power is at a more acceptable level. You will explore and learn how to make a communicator for yourself during your travels. I must stay here and work on the defenses of this place. A man's home is his castle, and my castle will NOT be under-defended. I dislike having it so accessible to others, and so I will rig some defenses of some variety up when I have time. You will act as my herald in the worlds, going and hunting any dark magical artifacts you can find for me, Revan and reporting back in person unless you get a communicator."

The dark king was annoyed that he couldn't train Revan fully. Sure he had planned on teaching him initially, but now? Now it seemed like a lost cause and that meant that he didn't have much he could do for the young warrior. The warrior had talent, and King Sombra had planned on making him one of his knights, but chances are Revan might refuse. So what he needed to do was bring his own skills back up to the levels where he had them originally. Sure certain ones like his shadow form couldn't be obtained, but the dark overlord could adapt.   "We both have our own work that needs to be done. For you that is exploring and hunting down magical artifacts. For me that is learning how to use my magic properly, and getting stronger. My power is limited, you didn't see but a tiny amount of my skill. I was up all last night, practicing. I managed to come up with a couple of new spells."

Revan Noctis finally awoke after some time from his deep slumber having rested for the first time since entering the Omniverse.
Luckily he had found the bed to be suitable for his human form and he almost considered just staying but then nothing would be achieved.

Once out of the bed he decided to change back into his own clothes and armour placing the hood back over his head he made his way out of the room.
Climbing down the stairs he went looking for Sombra who as far as he could tell had not rested which made him slightly worried for his new found friend.

"Very well I will attempt to learn out in the field then" said Revan unhappy that he had seemingly failed Sombra

"If I find anything interesting I will be sure to bring it back for you to check" he said looking over the damage caused by the ponies new spells

And so it had been decided Sombra was going to remain while he went out on his own to look and learn hopefully he would survive the adventure.
He had his bag still with him full of interesting items including some supplies he had taken from Sombra's home including one of the small crystal lamps he had found earlier and taken interest in.

"I wish to take your crystal boat to Costa del Sol first" said Revan having heard about the nearby capital of the Vasty Deep

He would surely be able to finish his communicator soon he was near certain it simply would need a bit more work.
Also packing an Omniverse guide book for later reference he was ready to finally set off again to discover answers perhaps when and if he returned he would be far more powerful and experienced and would make a far better pupil for Sombra.

"I promise I will return if I do not die first" he said planning on doing his best to make sure that it did not come to that

Finally it was time to leave the home and island of Sombra and to begin his exploration once more.
Opening Sombra's door he exited out only looking back once to give Sombra a small wave goodbye.

Walking down the path to the small dock he found the small crystal boat that he had arrived on and climbed aboard intent on visiting this capital island he had read about. Finally the boat began to float off as he made his way out toward the ocean alone trying to ignore the fact that if anything went wrong he would be stuck out here.

The sea was quite calm as his boat drifted off toward Costa del Sol though how long this trip would take he had little idea and no way of telling the time that would have to pass. To pass a bit of time he decided to begin reading the guide book further perhaps learning more about the place he was travelling to or the verse as it was apparently called.

The island he was travelling to was to say the least one of the more civilized areas in the Vasty Deep though he hoped it would provide him with more information on the surrounding area once he got there. He was unsure if Omni had planned for the island to exist as it was though he presumed to a certain extent he had.

It also seemed a gate existed there supposedly linking to a place called the Nexus which was best known for being the place Omni had dropped him off at before leaving him there. He found himself torn over the Omni creature so few answers existed and yet he wondered if the answers were even worth knowing.

"Omni if you can hear me know that eventually I will find you one way or another" he said out loud seated in the boat though he was doubtful that Omni was listening to him

After looking through the book for a bit he placed it back into his bag and decided to go over his plan for the upcoming island and what his goals were.
He needed knowledge to begin with on anything though he would not stay long here if he were to stay with Sombra he would need to know more.

Next was possibly meeting new primes after all they may prove useful to him and he presumed if each one was from a different world they may be able to teach him something better to learn about what he might be facing before he went to the Moors. He was still considering the possibility of gaining new companions but he would need to be careful he could not help but feel a fair bit paranoid.

He was looking greatly forward to gaining some of the magical powers though he knew it would take some time and he would not become as good as Sombra over night. Already he had learned more about the use of Omnilium and soon he was certain he would be able to do near anything with it.

He had sworn the day before he had felt something powerful stirring within him though it was possible it had been frustration only he saw no reason he could not unlock new powers. He had now an entire world ahead of him and he was not sure how long he could stay sane for though he admitted he had been proud of how well he had coped so far even if far worse was still ahead.

It was after all not like he had not had a sneak peek at the information on the Pale Moors which sounded like something meant to frighten children though he had no doubt after seeing the Trolls in the Frozen Fields that much or maybe even all the dangers were true. He desperately needed to gain valuable experience fighting after all after the Trolls he had learned that his physical abilities had improved significantly even his sword had been far more effective then he would have presumed.

Finally the large island began to come into view it looked quite large and as he got closer he noticed the buildings docks and ships that lined it.
His boat was tiny compared to some of the large ships coming into view and he hoped that they would allow him to enter freely after all he did not believe he was on any kind of wanted list currently though he was quite sure nobody here would have heard of him.

The island sure was magnificent having much variety in the buildings that dotted its landscape he could see that many from different worlds lived here and he found himself reminded that he was a Prime who unlike most of these people was able to collect and naturally craft things with Omnilium or at least he would once he got a bit more of a hang of it. Living in the Vasty Deep would probably be quite nice if he ever decided not to continue his adventures though he found that to be rather unlikely.

The truth was the Omniverse from what he had seen so far was an interesting world with places full of adventure but also quite peaceful places and he honestly found it difficult to see this place as worse then his own world he only wished that perhaps his own people could have been here with him though he was unsure if leaving the Omniverse was even allowed.

If this was to be his home then he would take the time to carefully learn about the politics of the Omniverse and who was in charge of what and if possible what world they had come from formally. It did worry him though that if the Primes had so much power who was there to make sure the others had their own rights as well.

Looking up he saw another large ship with a strange emblem on it quickly noticing it was not the only one it seemed there was a naval fleet here so clearly military order existed. Now he found himself curious where there was a military there was a government and he knew then he would have to take the time to sure enough learn if he was going to be with them or against them.

He did not though want to keep Sombra's boat in case Sombra had need of it back at his home though he also was unsure how else he would get off the island once he was done so he made the decision to keep the small boat for now. Approaching the dock he pulled himself up making sure he had everything with him he was it seemed not exactly used to travel by sea he being more used to staying on land in his former world he prepared to step foot on the unknown island.
