Flight of the Gin

[Gin Yatreg]

"Something feels...wrong here..." Gin thought. He had punched his way out of the dark void he'd be trapped in and seemed to be back in what he figured to be The Nexus, but it seemed to be even more deserted than usual. He couldn't see the gates or fountain anywhere! Come to think of it, "I don't remember it being this windy the last time I was here," he said aloud. 

"Hey, wait a second, wind doesn't go up," Gin said nervously. He looked down and saw the shape of a broken fountain growing larger at an alarming pace.  "Please hurt less than Remilia's sla-" was all he managed to say before the sudden sound of a wet thud filled the nexus, causing the random passerby's to jump at the sound with no visible source.

"Jenkins, you ever get the feeling you're about to be involved in something you'd rather avoid?" The elder stormtrooper guarding Coruscant's gate asked his companion.

"Everyday we come here sir," Jenkins responded.
