I had been thinking about it myself. Can a person deactivate it if they want to be able to let another being use a truth spell or see what their alignments are with Insight?

I think the answer to my next question is yes, but want to make sure. Does Suppression stop Foresight?

As for your question, Inlumia, I hadn't actually thought about that before. But I suppose, yes, it would. In light of these questions, it probably needs clarifying (and maybe rebalancing at some point).

So if I have Foresight and you have Suppression then automatically I can't use Foresight on you? that seems messed up.... shouldn't our tech lvls come into play? I mean if they have suppression but their tech is 1 and I have foresight with a tech of 3... shouldn't I still be able to see a lot of his movements early?

Edit: Suppression in the way its written just hides your presence.... so why is it negating telepathy and foresight? Just cause you can hide your presence doesn't mean you should be able to negate my mental ability? or no? I just bought Foresight >.> lol

2nd Edit: I also just noticed that you can purchase the medium lvl of suppression for 1000 OM which if it does indeed block foresight at 1500 OM (And lets face it no one has a 10 point stat difference so you'll always win...) then I'd say the OM costs are off and suppression should be raised. I shouldn't be able to pay 1000 and automatically block a 1500 cost power... ya know? just sayin. Let me know!

What does Suppression do in relation to Moves that require the powers it blocks?

Depending on the complexity of a move, you could probably understand everything about it by simply viewing it. For example if somebody began charging an attack you would be able to understand what the result would be by simply viewing it.

Should it be assumed that this part of Insight works even if your opponent has Suppression and higher Tec than you?

I think so, at least with stuff that is clearly visible (like charging attacks).

I mean, I figure someone with Insight is probably smart (or experienced/skilled) enough to see a giant ball of energy and have an idea what it'll be used for.
