!ALT! Ethan Macmanus
#1
Character name: Ethan Macmanus

Character source: Ctrl+Alt+Del

Character history: Taken from the end of Ctrl+Alt+Del's "1.0" run.

Physical Description: [Image: latest?cb=20121205085805]

Stats:
ATK: 1 - He's not very strong, physically. He can manage an okay fight with the weapons he summoned, but don't expect anything extraordinary.
DEF: 1 - Not highly resilient. Good luck keeping him in one piece if he manages to get hit.
SPD: 4 - The Omniverse makes up for his near complete lack of strength or defense by giving him high speed.
TEC: 4 - As a gamer, he has great reflexes, which the Omniverse enhances further. Combined with his SPD, he's quite hard to hit.

Starting Proficiencies: Physical Strength Proficiency(1000), Ranged Attack Proficiency(1000)

Starting Powers: None

Starting Moves:

Energy Sword - 300 OM

Source: The Halo game series(Gonna be including a source with all my moves, but keep in mind that Ethan is a gamer. He'll be summoning weapons from a wide variety of sources.)

Deciding, with all that power, someone's bound to be using it for less-than-friendly purposes, Ethan summons two weapons based around gaming, for use in combat, one of which being this. It's 18 inches, from handle to the tip of the blade. It's all-around, average. Moderate swinging time, moderate damage rate...Not really too exciting.

Ethan took some creative liberties(or it's just normal for the Halo energy swords, I dunno, never played Halo) and added a switch on the handle. The switch activates and de-activates the blade. When de-activated, the handle normally rests comfortably in Ethan's back pocket.

Wii Remote Zapper - 300 OM

Source: Nintendo Wii (Nothing in particular, this is a probably fan-made controller thing I found whilst browsing images. Decided Ethan could use it.)

Deciding, with all that power, someone's bound to be using it for less-than-friendly purposes, Ethan summons two familiar weapons from gaming for self-defense purposes. To his chagrin, the other weapon he gets is this sidearm.

It fires white plasma bolts, with a minimum effective range of 10 feet and a maximum of 20 feet. They do low damage at a moderate rate of fire. Reloading takes 3 seconds. There's a hidden tab on the back, which Ethan pushes down on to eject the current Wii Remote - which is the ammo source on this weapon.

He keeps 2 Wii Remotes as spare ammunition in his back pockets.

This weapon is normally kept in his belt loop, as a sort of holster.

Total spent OM: 2600

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct. Yep.

Where did you find us? At the supermarket. Tongue

I'd prefer if you just transfer my hub account to the character account. I never use my hub, anyway.

I'm gonna go ahead and say this character's not really suited for the Omniverse, being a dude from a webcomic with no powers, and not really fitting the tone. I'm willing to listen if you're really dedicated to making this a serious character but my question is "Why?"

Bear in mind that knowing the powers of characters from games (like a free Insight power) would be a no-go without Insight. We're also pretty hot on fourth-wall breaking, so ... yeah.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

To address your concerns:

I was already planning on making him a serious character. Gonna admit, he'll be a bit more light-hearted, but I will keep things serious.

The fourth wall will remain intact.

As for knowing the powers of guys from video games...I could just jank up his memory. Problem solved.

A week since the last response...I think by now I can maybe bump this? Maybe?
