Hello~! I'm Jojo. I'm still new to this whole "Omniverse" thing, so if you don't mind going easy on me where my discoveries are... a little more obvious, that'd be wonderful. As that last sentence would imply, this is a site-blog-thing hinging around adventure. Discovery. All that great stuff. Going on adventures, being a hero - it seems so… out of reach, but here, it’s a dream come true. It’s no longer something unattainable. So go ahead and read about me living out my dreams here! I'm happy to have the lot of you, and writing's pretty fun, so it's not like I mind doing it. I'll try to keep up with this fairly regularly, though I can't promise anything, because punctuality and diligence are two things I struggle with a bit.

With that being said, STORYTIME!

So I woke up in the Nexus - I think it’s called the Nexus - not too long ago. It was there that I met Ciamath, who’s been my best friend here. She’s really nice and a lot smarter than you’d think, and she’s demonstrated that the whole time I’ve been here. She’s so helpful, too! She’s taught me a lot about this place. Apparently I was supposed to get a lot of what she taught me from Omni, but… I might have gotten it, it’s just that I don’t remember it.

That’s another thing. I have the whole “plot convenient amnesia” thing going on. I don’t remember anything about who I was before all this. Bits and pieces are floating around here and there, but I can’t put anything together. Only thing to do, I think, is to keep moving forward and make a past of my own. Thusly, adventuring!

Fortunately, Ciamath is the adventuring type. She has this crazy long spear - on top of that, she’s pretty tall herself - and she’s apparently been all over the Omniverse, so she can teach me all about it. She knows plenty about Primes, too, so I’m not completely in the dark about what I am here. I’ve got power, and I intend to use it for good. Even if I want to have a little fun in the process.

Anyways, one high-speed bike ride later, we were on a walk through Camelot. Camelot! This is the kind of stuff I’d expect to only see in storybooks! We took a ride in a carriage… or was it a covered wagon? I still don’t know the difference, but I should probably learn. We saw all kinds of places I think Ciamath called fiefs, which if I recall, is basically like renting an apartment, but replace ‘landlord’ with ‘overlord’ and you’re not a college student that can’t afford much better. I’m pretty sure most college students would kill for a fief.

What I think is pretty neat is Minas Tirith, though. I got some awesome stuff there - I have a sword, a shield, a violin and an enchanted bag that holds a bunch of stuff!... it’s cooler than it sounds.

On top of that, I met a bunch of interesting people today. I met a blacksmith, who outfitted me with my sword and board. He’s a friend of Ciamath’s, though I don’t know much more than that. He’s really scruffy and I kind of want to braid his beard sometime, just for fun.

I also met an eccentric mage. He helped me learn a little about myself, teaching me I have a past with music (This post’s bonus is musical to celebrate!). I also got my bag, which he called a Sack of Greater Holding. Apparently it can hold something crazy like a few hundred pounds worth of stuff, so I’m definitely gonna keep it around.

Oh, boy-- then there was the inn. We hadn’t even ordered when somebody decided to cause trouble. Nobody else seemed interested in stepping in, so I did, making use of my new shield and the pommel of my blade to handle the guy, who drew his axe on me and nearly hit me. If it weren’t for me being insanely fast - don’t know how that happened - I’d probably have a big, gross gash in my side.

Fortunately, the owner of the place had mercy and didn’t kick me out - the guy being a bother wasn’t so lucky. I got my meal free, but I was asked to let the proprietor deal with things next time. I’ll gladly keep my promise to do just that, as long as things don’t fall out of his hands.

Now I’m in mine and Ciamath’s room in the place. We’ve gotten settled, and I’m gonna figure out the Dataverse before I get to bed. It’s a lot like the Internet back home, I think - so much so that my old phone seems to work with it just fine.

I think I can get used to being here. It’s really nice, and there’s so much to do, so much fun to be had, so many adventures to go on… can’t help but hope my time here never ends.

Thanks for reading if you got this far. If you liked it, I hope you check in again tomorrow, or whenever I decide to write next. I can’t promise quality, but I can promise that I’ll try to put stuff out that I’m proud of.

...Oh, and here’s a picture of Ciamath.

You can see me in the bonus here! It’s a video embedded from Youtube of me singing. I like how it turned out - glad it didn’t take too many takes to get right. My singing voice is still a bit rusty, so I apologize if it’s not quite up to snuff. Thanks again, and good night!
The face of a little girl, probably around twelve or thirteen, dominates the picture. Her hair looks as though it was brushed only a minute ago. She clears her throat and smiles. “All right… and a-one, and a-two... After a few D scales, she exhales sharply. “May thy chosen path lead way and grace you,” she sings, “with virtue… but surely a balance awaits, so be it bliss or pain… you gain…~” she continues. “Beyond the route-way’s end, you’ll gain resilience… and weakness… the trials, the thorn in your side, becomes the greatest strength~ in you…” She stops and her cheeks look a little red, more so against the slightly reddish-pink of her dress. “Oh, sweet, a good take,” she says and giggles before her palm covers the camera and the video stops.
