I passed a lengthy, horrible exam that apparently is the only means to show my competence at teaching a subject I've taught for nearly 3 semesters.
Anyway, I need to wait for the official paperwork to come back so I can start going through the red tape that follows, but I did the heavy lifting. I'mma be dual-endorsed as a Chemistry-Biology Teacher. With some luck, I plan to go for 3 by the end of this school year (nabbing a History one -- despite the fact that I taught Physics, I can't qualify for that endorsement unless I take more college credits).
I felt pretty good about myself, so I thought I'd share. The goal is still to be 'finished' teaching high school and transition into community/junior college after a few more years.
