Follow the Grey brick road

Oomph *Ow that was not the best of landings, but not the worse, as she looks around for her horse she saw the portal behind her, and is this the underground as I see no sun? *Well there is my horse Determination, as Chara looks around to see her surroundings she sees (the horse is a jet black horse with streaks of red) and a grey stone path leading somewhere. Chara finally gets up and brushes the dirt off her clothes *well that is going to have to do for now, and I hope there is some sort of City or village of some sort. *Well I guess just follow the grey brick road, as she got on Determination she heard a moan coming from the bushes a few feet down the path. *Who could that be well, I hate to ruin this nice sweater but if he would be better off dead then I will listen to his wishes. As she neared the moaning person she to her surprise saw them move towards her. *Um sir do you need help as she gets off Determination. the Monster shambled closer and closer to her before they screeched a ear splitting Scream at her. *ok I hate to do this ,but as she unsheathed her knife the zombie started to shamble faster. * five feet ,four feet she then attacked it firing her barrage of slashes.
Huff Puff, wow that was something else, as she tried to catch her breath, she heard a voice. "Hello little Child you seem to be lost  out here, Its not safe for someone like you to be out here at this time of day. As she looked up she saw a man in a sort of shiny armor who looked skinnier, *who are you? "Me my name if Aldar" Aldar said with a sort of grace. *Can I ask where I am and how I got here? "Oh so you must be a Prime then, if that is the case we must get you to the city of Darkshire" he said with a sort of urgency. *What is a Prime? "Well you know the person who talked to you, his name is Omni, and he brought you here to the Omniverse well that is just a rumor but you are a Prime, Primes are people who cant die, are much more powerful than normal people like me and secondarys who are a step above people like me". "Is that enough to get you to stop asking questions for now"? *Yes it will do for now, Chara said with a satisfied tone.
"We better get going we have a while to go and we are burning valuable day light" Aldar said with a urgency in his voice. *Ok lets go I want to see this city you speak of, as Chara kicks Determination to move. "Ok ill lead the way, just follow me" Aldar said with gritted teeth.

It has been a week since she had left the portal with Alder to go to this Darkshire and Chara was getting tired of this traveling . *Who close are we to Darkshire Alder?* "We are very close to the gate of my city" Alder said with a flat tone to her.
After that they were quiet for a while, then they finally made it to the city of Darkshire. *Well I guess not what I expected from here but I guess it will have to do for now* as she said with a disappointed tone. As they neared the gate into the city they saw two guards standing watch for people.

The two guards crossed there halberds and said "Halt young girl and swords-man", "state your reason for coming here" *I come with my friend here for food and shelter, I don't mean any harm just let us pass* "I found this girl at the portal she is important that we gain her help because she is a fresh Prime" Alder said with some concern. The guards uncrossed there halberds and said "you can go on in, cause no trouble" *Thank you for letting me in* Chara said with a thankful tone.Before she could go past one of the guards said "hey we could use some new manpower, so if your interested with helping Darkshire, go to the city garrison and we can work something out." *Ill think about it thanks*. Chara said as she entered the city with her buddy Alder.

As they two of them finally got to a nice looking inn Chara said *So I guess ill see you later Alder* and as she was walking away Alder said "hey why don't you go stay with me and my family for a while it was nice having you as company" Chara was shocked by this Alder was nice company during the ride and he did pull his own weight.  *Well I guess I would be rude if I said no, so yes ill stay with you for a while*

It has been some time since Chara has entered the Omniverse and she finally felt like she had a family, though she felt like she was missing something from her memory, but she could not place what it was. *Um Alder, do you know why you stay here, because if I were you I would leave here and go to some other verse...* "Well we have a good life here even if its not the best but you have a family now something you said that you always wanted." Alder was always calm even if I or one of his other kids got into trouble, he just felt like a dad that I could come to love as my own, he never said what to call him so I just call him al for short.

*Hey Al do you think we can train sometime to day?*Alder turned to me and said "Well I guess we could do it do it for a while if the other kids want to do it." *Ok Dad Ill see what they want to do.* and I turned and ran off to the area I knew the daughter and son would be at. As I neared the playground I saw two or three older boy come towards me and they pushed me down. "Ha-ha look at this toothpick of a girl, not even willing to fight, your not suppose to be here you should be dead." As I got up I said *You don't know what true bravery is my dad Asgore was a good man he taught me everything I know about fighting, but he told me one thing don't let anyone tell you how to live your life.* Then my older brother and sister came to me and said together "Come on lets go home, don't listen to them there just out for attention."

Alder came walking into my room right as I was crying about the nightmares I was having, the memory's that came back about me dying, he kneeled down and said "Hey Chara I heard that two boys were picking on you and then you said something strange about a king being your father, well here to say that kind of stuff is completely fine but out side is where you got to learn to control you temper and mouth, because both of those boys will keep on picking on you and remember last time when you snapped about some one saying they will kill your brother." I stopped crying for a bit and said to Alder *Dad I have been getting flashbacks about who and where I was before the Omniverse.* Alder had a peaked interest now about the turn of events that has just happened "tell me about who you where and where you lived before?" *Well I was part of the royal family of the monsters, I had a mom, dad and a brother whose names I don't remember, and that's all I remember.

As Alder got up he said with a forgiving tone "well if you want to talk anymore you can talk to me at anytime or talk to one of your siblings" As I got up off my bed I said to dad *i am going outside to take a walk* "well be careful out there and try not to get hurt, well you can be safe with self defense from the police but try not to get into any duels ok."

As Chara was looking for something to do to take her mind off of the events that just happened when she saw a huge man in armor walk up to her and begins to pull out his great sword he smells drunk. Pinching her nose at the reek of alcohol she began to inch back wards while pulling her knife out of its sheath slowly. As he got closer she began to stutter  *Um.. sir do you have a problem with me because I don't want to fight you, please... just put away the sword and we can talk about it.* the man began to say something "hey you are not what you seem to be I can see you are not something we want to have around" then his voice grew cold and suddenly it grew stoic "you dirty brother killer, you will be dead where you stand, if I have anything to say about it."

Chara began having another flashback about her brother Asriel Dreemur, and begain seeing the pain her brother went through when... she... died. *Sir please i will leave Darkshire.... Please don't kill me* as the man drew his sword to kill her she grabbed her knife and she felt something tug at her very atoms that's when she glitched for the first time and ran as fast home as she could. but in the back ground she heard the mans voice say "I will find you and you will die, I have people, everywhere that know who you are you little demon, even your father cant save you now ha-ha-ha-ha." "You have five nights to leave Darkshire or I will kill everything and everyone you love."

After running for a while Chara finally got home, as she opened the door she saw a note it said "Tick tock you are running out of time day four your sister dies so you are running out of time, but you can save your family by one way, I challenge you to a duel at the market at noon tomorrow, beat or kill me and you get your family back, if you lose two family members dies." as she walked to her room she saw that there was a bag of gold with another note "dear Chara, you have made this old man happy that he had another child well when you asked about going to another verse we would have gone to Camelot because you seem to have strong magical abilitys even if you are just unlocking your true potential, so if you do fight you will have a bounty on your head because you "attacked" the guardsmen so for your old man please don't fight this man leave here and live your life out."

*Well I guess I have to fight for my honor and for my family's honor well I guess I can train for a bit to get ready* as she saw a wooden shield, well ill use the shield and anything else I can find before leaving to go fight him as she looked through the books she tried pulling one out and saw a hidden passage way going downstairs. *I will go down and see what is here* as she grabed a torch and started walking down to who knows where.

She looks around at the room and saw training dummy's, a few types of swords, and shields and a lance. she was very confused why the family did not fight back with all this armor and weaponry. *Why did you not fight back?, Why did you leave me a bag of gold, what does this have to do with anything?"

it was getting dark and she went to bed thinking she could die tomorrow, and felt a nice and calm thought that she will have protected her family this time, and will not put this family into a war they cannot win. *I will kill the man who kidnapped my family, he will not live to see another day. then she fired her first barrage of slashes at the dummy. Now it was just a pile of straw and wood as she said *he will lose to little old me.*

It was noon and the man was waiting for the child he had seen last night, if he knew most people then she would come to stop him, to beat him in a duel he looked up and saw her walking to him, "I see you took you sweet time well I know you read that letter, and I knew you would come here" she started to smoke a black color *You really are an iddiot thinking you could stop me you are the scum of the earth you will die, and I will stop you." as the man got up he could see she had a wood shield not the sturdy would break in two or three hits. "You really want to go then lets go!" as he ran towards the girl she disappeared, and he stopped running and looked around for her. He heard something and looked up and saw her fire her barrage of slashes directly on top of him and he said his last words "what in all that is holy, ARGHH" and the man fell dead as Chara looked around she heard a bell ringing and saw more people like the man rushing towards her to apprehend her for killing a guards man, then she saw someone post something and then I clicked she was wanted for killing someone. they all were yelling "Hey you stop right there you are under arrest for killing one of our valiant men in cold blood. Then she heard her father say "Go run leave Darkshire its not safe for you any more, your horse is at the gate go there and leave." she said a few words to the men while doing the two fingered tip off "Hey it's been fun and I have to go, see ya, also I have a present for all of you" then she fired into the garrison knocking a bunch over. Then she "glitched" to the gate and got on determination and rode off out of dark shire for good.

After a while of riding to the portal that she took to get here she felt a strange feeling that she was being watched by some one who she could not see right off hand, but she could sense that they were close and closing in on her. *Who is there, because I will give you one warning and one warning is all I give you, so show your self or I will kill you.* Then she heard a voice that said "wait I can give you help i am just a weary old traveler on his way to the nexus, so please put down your weapon and let me speak." Chara lowers her weapon and says, *Speak old man and ill listen.* "Ok so my name is Grant and I come from Camelot, I was looking for a Count Dracula, because I wish to join his army to take down Darkshire once and for all."

As she said everything she knew to him, but as she was getting on determination, she saw he look down at his device and then looked back up at her and he said "Well if it isn't a convict well to tell you the truth I am a bounty hunter and you are number one bouny here and you are going to give me a great reward for capturing you and taking you back to Darkshire. Chara then kicked her horse and ran off to the portal saying *I have to get out of here* over and over again.

As she rode to the portal to leave out of the Pale moors, she felt this was not what her father would have wanted but... she must continue to keep them safe as they would not harm them, She smiled for the first time here in this place that had ripped her from her old life and mad her start over. then she felt a strange feeling that was hate then she said *Omni I will come face to face with you and I will beat your little game here, because I am not one of your little pawns to move around with.*

Then she saw the portal growing as she neared the portal to leave. *Phew, we are almost there girl, just a little longer till we can go back to the nexus.* And they finally got to the entrance to the nexus, *Well lets say our goodbyes for now because I will save my family, I have to because they need me to, I will not forget you my family even if you forget me, I will come back.*

Then she walked through to the nexus with her horse.

(continued from Darkness comes to the Palemoor's, this is for the passage to darkshire and to DA)

As Chara walked through the walked through the portal with her horse she looked at the brick road that brought back bad memory's, and she thought of all the ways she would make Darkshire pay for her pain, "They just couldn't keep my past out of it well, He he, i guess they will survive for a while as i need my wounds fixed, because it would be a shame to kill someone who can be of use to me". she felt like there was more to the "Tin-Man" than she saw.  "i just hope he doesn't come to Darkshire or to the Verse i got the message from". As she got on her horse she felt like for the time she would strike fear into Darkshire while picking them off one at a time and then she kicked her horse to full speed to Darkshire.

After a while she reached her destination Darkshire, and half a mile before Darkshire's gate, she got off and got the Omnilium from Determination and decided to walk and she saw the guards look at her and they both said something "He, well this shall be fun, come and fight me, scum". (Well lets just say they aren't in one piece anymore, more like there dust now.) as she looked at the work she did she felt a satisfaction she loved, her face contorted to her jagged smile and walked in to Darkshire uncontested with her knife out in hand. She looked at parents rushing away from her with kids in tow and the main street was empty except for a few people and the booth with the DA sign on it. "Well there it is, time to "Save" this group of people" and composed her self.
