This is Gildarts' alternate character.
Name: Sirius Black
Alias: “Padfoot”, The Prisoner of Azkaban, the Grim, Black Dog, “Snuffles”, and apparently teasingly Serious Black.
Age: Late twenties, early thirties
Origin: The Harry Potter Universe, particularly the books’ series rendition of him.
BIO: Sirius grew up in a family of pureblood wizards, most, if not all of them were sorted into Slytherin, and seriously hated any wizard who did not share their same conservative values (most of them ended up supporting Voldemort in their later years). Sirius never shared this view of the wizarding world and was glad to escape his family and their ties when he was sorted rebelliously into Gryffindor rather than Slytherin. While he stayed at Hogwarts for the full eight-year term, Sirius learned a great deal and developed lifelong friendships. He learned how to turn into an animagus, befriended a were-wolf, but this was not even the last of his adventures. Once graduated, Sirius continued practicing magic, and when the threat of an evil wizard intent on changing their world arose, Sirius and his friends responded to the call under the group “the Order of the Phoenix” where they battled and grouped together to fight the dark wizards that lurked in plain light, who were in cohorts with Voldemort. Few dared to say his name, but Sirius, who had faced evil with his own bravery, saw just another wizard who needed to be slain.
While Sirius was working with the Order, the world was in chaos, and its members started to get targeted. His closest friend was to be the next on Voldemort’s hit-list, for the Order had spies, and their was a certainly a leak from their own group feeding Voldemort information as well. Sirius was entrusted to be the secret-keeper of Lily and James Potter’s secret location, where they were hiding, however, Sirius had made a grave mistake that cost his best friend’s life, and his wife. The only miracle that remained was that their son had lived. His name was Harry, and he was since then known as the boy who lived. He had vanquished Voldemort, however this hope was too good to be true, and the Order doubted this would last, for his followers were on the rise and seeking to inflict devastation on anyone associated with the fall of their worshiped leader.
Sirius, however, had greater things on his mind, for he knew exactly who it had been who had betrayed his own trust, and murdered his best friend, practically in cold blood. He would never again see James Potter smile, this was the tremendous consequence for his own folly, and this was enough to drive Sirius mad. So he did something about it.
It had been Wormtail, -that rat!- who had been a traitorous liar all along, what was worse, he spoke that Sirius was the one who betrayed them all. Pettigrew had once been a Marauder, and an old friend, but now that Sirius knew it had been consequently Peter working with the Death Eaters, he had to hold him accountable. He had to hear the truth for himself, nobly, have it spoken to his face.... And then he would eradicate the last reminder of his mistake. And so, on that terrible day that ended with more bloodshed and tragedy. After tracking the traitor down, Sirius and Pettigrew confronted one another in the streets.
There were witnesses, most of them muggle even! However this had been intentional, for Peter had planned this all along. There was such anger and guilt toiling in Sirius’s heart, and it was enough to seal his fate. Sirius could not help it this time, for he, so taken with rage forgot to see reason. The committed his second and final mistake.
Words were exchanged. Suddenly, wands were drawn. And then, with the flick of Peter’s wrist, a tidal wave of magic erupted from the wizard’s wand. An eruption of death swirled around Sirius, who had his own wand out, light flashing from its point, and before Sirius had known it, corpses surrounded him, and where Peter lay, only a bunch of garments an a bloody finger remained.
Not long after... Sirius was taken by Omni but not before he had seen the aftermath of the ordeal. In the wizarding world, Sirius had been framed for it all, and was about to be sentenced to Azkaban and Pettigrew went on living though in hiding, knowing his plan had been a success, though the Dark Lord had fallen.
Cannonically, Sirius was sent to Azkaban for twelve years and was able to keep his sanity (a feat all in itself). He escaped Azkaban (another feat) and went on to resume his involvement with the Order, in the shadows, he also got to meet Harry who had aged by some twelve years, and
Personality: Sirius is a great man of nobility and strength. He values intellect as much as loyalty and friendship, and believes in a world where these two can live together. He has extreme talent at magic and can access these skills in an instant. Though he is a compulsive man, with a retaliating view on authority, and only respects those who he sees worthy of it. He regrets his mistake and continues to mourn James’s death. He was stereotypically brave for a Gryffindor, however part of this bravery was generally effected by the heat of a moment, and its excitement. Conversely, he was arrogant, and a troublemaker, though willing to die for a true cause of defeating evil-particularly Lord Voldemort, Sirius always believed in himself to the point of fault. The most remarkable thing about Sirius is his infallible strength of will.

Sirius wields his wand and extends it outward, he concentrates his aim, focuses his magic, and a blue static erupts from the tip of the wand. Suddenly, a bright light bursts forth in the shape of a ray, or laser beam.
When stung directly by the spell, the person is knocked back and rendered unconscious for approximately 3 minutes. This spell takes a good amount of energy, and after it is cast, Sirius will need at least 20 seconds until he can cast another or the same spell.
The spell has a range that extends no more than half a mile.
- Its second use is defensive, it will halt an object in mid air. Perhaps it is something spiraling towards him, inanimate, like a frisbee or a large pegasus tumbling towards him. When centered correctly, the same spell from above, will offer enough force to bounce the object (probably painfully) back just slightly (no more than a foot) and it will lose its momentum that propelled it forward, and re-stabilized its weight, which will likely throw the object straight down.
