Possibly Getting Ahead of Myself

So I'm pretty new here. I've submitted a joining request, and I'm trying to get a feel for the community here.

I had a few questions about signatures, and figured it would be a good idea to ask here rather than bother people in the Help Desk.


Do I need to make a signature myself?
Can I just lift an image from google, mess with it, and use it?


I have a few already prepared, but I shant post them yet if I could potentially damage the site.

Nah, you don't NEED to make one. Some people don't even use sig banners.

Yeah, that's totally fine. S'what I usually do for my characters. =D

And yeah, feel free to post here if you want some feedback. We have some pretty artsy folk here so they might be able to give tips or whatever you'd need.

My personal favorite is the first one.

Damn... those are pretty good. Quite like the second one, it gives off a real Borderlands sorta vibe, which kinda fits the Engineer's "southerness", for lack of a better word.

I'll probably go with the second one, as per Tartatus' suggestion. 

I did come across one teensy problem though. I can't seem to find where to add a signature on my User CP. 

That being said, I'm still waiting on my Joining request to be approved, so that probably hhas something to do with it.

Also, I just loaded these up on a computer (been doing most of this on my phone) and whoa, those pictures look vastly different than they do on my Galaxy S5.

I think I'm going to go with the second one. Maybe I'll change it later, who knows. Also I resized it for the regular signature dimension requirements.
