Character history:
Grimm knows little of his own origin. One day he was just there, lying in an untamed plain, a being without flesh left alone for his bones to be reduced to dust. For this reason he also knows little of himself. he hails from a world of wonder disguised in an ocean of technology. Powerful wizards run entire countries from the shadows while other city-states answer to great networks of super computers. Shadowy agencies hide the truth from the public and make sure that those gifted with extra-ordinary powers do the same. The two sides of this coin rarely pair well technoligists ignoring the very idea of magic for their chrome plated contraptions, and wizards shrugging of the revelations of science in favour of their dusty tomes and ancient arts. Undisturbed by the lack of uncertainty in both his creation and purpose Grimm set about the only thing that seemed to be important to him, learning. maybe it was out of a secret hope that he would find his purpose or maybe it was simply curiosity, Grimm set about collecting all the knowledge that he deemed useful. both the magical arts and the scientific methods became his tool leading him to become one of the rare few that straddled the line between two worlds.

It was through his pursuit of knowledge that he began to learn the art of scribing, storing spells and incarnations inside of vellum or another totem for later activation. It was this, he later leaned, that had brought him into creation. If he stared deep enough into his own reflection he could make out the arcane runes etched into the inside of his skull powering his very being. He was like a magical program running it's course, though what his creator intended him to return he was unsure of. While many of his fellow scribes were happy to simply follow the path set out by the wizards before them Grimm forged his own. To his mathematically inclined mind all magic was science by another name and through application of this principle he was able to more accurately predict the effects of his magic. understanding of what his magic did to the world on a sub-atomic level gave him the ability to forge more powerful magic. he wasn't the most powerful wizard by a long shot but he walked a path none had seen before and this made his magics unpredictable to anyone but himself, that was where he found his power.

This power came at a price though. before long the computers saw his unpredictability as an incalculable risk and the shadowy puppet masters saw him as a unacceptable threat. It was for this reason that Grimm spent the last part of his life in a padded cell scratching small spells into the padding out of view of his captors. just before he had planed to set his operation into action he found himself drawn from his world into another.

Physical Description: (originals only)
Grimm is a skeletal being. he is roughly 6ft and is, for obvious reasons rather thin. when in the presence of those knowledgeable of the magical realm he wears a black suit with a black shirt and red tie. when on his own he instead chooses to wear a dark cloak with a hood used to hide his face or lack thereof.

Starting Moves:
Magic missile (requires ranged proficiency) - 300 OM:
One of the fast proper spells Grimm Learned to scribe. by using his power to he is able to super heat four pockets of air near his hands into packets of plasma which then shoot off arcing away from his hand and curving in towards his target. The orbs cannot change their trajectory once they start moving and take only a second or two to form. being a form of scribed magic Grimm carries a deck of cards with this spell inscribed. if he were to be somehow caught without the cards he would find himself unable to cast this spell without first writing the spell onto another totem which takes time.

Air wall (requires ranged proficiency; Telekinesis) - 300 OM:
Another rather elementary spell. by applying his knowledge of the implications of Brownian motion Grimm is able to suddenly impart a great deal of force into a wall of air of his choice, roughly 1.5 meters square causing it to rush forward half an inch at incredible speed. In practice this sudden movement is able to stop or slow projectiles fired towards him and spur stationary objects and people into movement, given they're are not to heavy. due to it's simplicity Grimm was able to fit the runes for this spell onto his thumb bones meaning that so long as he is in possession of one of his hands he can cast it. The spell is initiated by Grimm dislocating one of his thumbs and rushing his hands forward as if pushing the air. for this reason it takes about as long as you would imagine dislocating a thumb to take (2-3 seconds).

Basic Scribing - variable - RP fluff:
Grimm has spent years mastering the art of scribing allowing him to ad-lib any magic that forms around either heating things, moving things or providing motion to raw energy (creating photons of light). This power is not without drawbacks. unless the spell is one of the moves he has taken the care to pre prepare he will need to actually scribe it. Due to the time and focus this requires it is imposable in combat and as such can only be done to solve problems in situations where he does have some time to think (ie melting through a lock). On top of this he also needs to be careful as energy cannot be created or destroyed so he must supply all of the energy needed for the spell himself, as per our current understanding of kinematics (eg: more mass,heat,energy moved means more energy needed)

I understand that my character may have a bit of trouble fitting in with the mechanics used here (due to his ability to make up spells out of combat) so I have tried to correct for this with my understanding of the rules and by limiting what he can do. in an attempt to assure you I won't just godmod

Your history is good! I do have some comments on your moves.

Magic Missiles- This move is mostly good but how long does it take to cast(as i understand the deck is completely RP flavor so thats fine) and how many missiles can he toss out at someone.

Air Wall- Same question. How much time? And how much air is he blowing? Does it cover his body or is it a small patch he chooses?

Basic Scribing- If this move sole purpose is RP flavor then it will cost you nothing. Being able to heat up objects is completely fine, moving objects is easily done through telekinesis, and I'm not sure what you mean by providing Raw energy so if you could describe what that does a bit better. So feel free to rewrite this move and I'll get you going.

Everything is all set but there's one problem. Telekinesis also requires Ranged Materialize Proficiency and you don't have enough for it right now. So you're going to have to replace some stuff but once you do let me know and I'll set you up
