Diablo 3
#1
Picked this up when it was half off and had a shiiitload of fun. Much more than when I played the trial game at launch. Got the expansion now and working on levelling my Demon Hunter (already got a barb at cap just to finish the campaign). My Spider-Man build is maximum. Slow/stun everything and pewpewpew.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Diablo 3 isn't bad, but it still pisses me off because the DRM is shit and the game isn't procedurally generated like Diablo 2 and Torchlight. I love me some dungeon crawl, but Diablo 3 is exactly one crawl before you know the map and how to navigate it, plus it gives you an easy out in the form of map guides. I'll stick with my Torchlight 2 when I get the urge to kill monsters and bathe in the showers of loot.

I'm 100% filthy casual when it comes to ARPGs. For me, Diablo 3 is to Diablo 2 what Skyrim was to Oblivion - changing the stat system so that it's not super-punishing and encourages experimentation, and enough tweaks to make it fun and playable for me. I've heard Torchlight is more traditional in that sense, but I love the free respecs of Diablo 3.

Only thing that pisses me off is, as with all Blizzard games, region splitting. So if I wanna play with American friends, I have to level all the way to 60 again to unlock Torment and complete all the Acts to get Adventure Mode.

RoS expansion is so good. Diablo 3 didn't capture the atmosphere 2 did, but god dammit RoS does. The final boss fight is pretty epic too.

Actually some of the dungeons and areas are randomly generated. Just not all of them.
