SubTerra Verse?

I know this is unlikely to actually become a thing, but after imaging Doomsday (DC Comics) pummelling someone to the centre of the Omniverse... I wondered what was actually that far under the Omniverse? Of course we'd find caverns and mineshafts and Omnillium springs... but what's past all that?

That's when Dean/Kylo said 'more verse' and I thought 'What if there is an underground verse accessible from every main verse except the Nexus, just by going far enough underground?', and so spawned the idea of SubTerra. I'd love some input on this idea!

Each verse is surrounded by an invisible barrier, the same can be said for underground too (I would assume) so you'd just hit an invisible barrier and not be able to go any further.

Aww... I'd still like to think it's be nice to have an entirely underground verse that can basically be accessed from any other... you ruined my fun, Mina ;-; XD

It'd still be fairly awesome to have an underground base, or to do quests and adventures that go below the surface.

Each verse probably goes a few hundred feet below the surface. I've had one of my NPCs do some underground mining tin the Tangled Green.

Some probably go deeper (I mean the Vasty Deep is an ocean, so it goes down a long ways).

Only a few hundred feet? ||o That's not very deep at all; it's like half (or a bit over half) the height of the Seattle Space Needle (605'). Sooooo, no huge underground dungeons more than a couple levels deep, presumably. Shame, shame. ||p

I've toyed around with the idea before of having several hub verses that can access all verses, most obvious candidates being the ocean and space, this would be another cool idea for one (disclaimer: Greg likes to throw around ideas that he might not use for years, if ever).

For the time being, the Ashen Steppes has a vast underground feature, based on the Metroid series of subterranean caverns (and which can be fodder'd to your needs)
