This place is too white...

"Ugghhh. My head." I groan as I slowly sit up, my head throbbing with a dull ache. "Where....am I?" Then it came back to me. This is not the world you know. Wonderful. Simply amazing. I look around, checking my surroundings. White ground, white sky, white...everything. "Whats with all the white?!" I cry out, to no one in particular, throwing my hands up in exasperation. Not expecting an answer, I hauled my self to my feet, brushing myself off as I got up. Where to go from here? I thought. I look around, looking into the distance, seeing what looked to be gates in the distance. I take a step and my foot hits something. "Huh, a sword, where did this come from?" I mused. My eyes widened in realization as I remembered what it was. I dropped it immediately. It was the sword that that thing used to kill... After even thinking about it, my head began to hurt even more. I pressed the heel of my hand to my left eye.

After a few minutes, the pain dulled back down to that annoying, dull ache that I had earlier. Letting out a deep breath, I reached down and picked up the sword. Might as well take it with me, I thought, slinging the strap around my shoulder and sheathing the blade. "Stay on track,Koal." I reprimanded myself, " It's not like you're in a strange place that you never seen before that might or might not be hostile." So I set off, going east. Or at least what I thought was east, there's no sun to calculate direction here. Guess Ill just walk this way for a while

I never thought walking could get boring... I thought,My slightly ADHD mind working desperately to find a way to entertain me. Without even thinking, I drew out that Orb of...what was it called again? Omnilium. I admired its beautiful colors, turning it in my hands. "Looks like a rainbow." I quietly said to myself. My steady walking pace came to a stop. " I wonder if Mom even knows I'm gone." I sat down, crossing my legs, setting the sword down on my left side`. I just stayed there for a minute or two, letting my melancholy sink in. Then I got mad. REALLY mad. " What gives this 'Omni' the right to take me from my home?!" I yelled, my Violet eyes flashing, " It might not have been the best, but at least I knew where I was and where I stood. Here, I can't even see a sun." By the end of my rant, my voice had died down to a whisper, my anger diminished. I leaned down until I was lying flat on my back. Maybe what I need is some sleep. And with that, I dozed off into the clutches of my dreams.

" Why does my head still hurt?" I complained, slowly sitting up. I stretched, relishing in all the little cracks that resounded through my body. I need to get moving, but at a faster pace, all this walking just won't do. I thought. Drawing out the Omnilium, I focused on a mental image of a horse. I've always wanted a horse. I mused, Koal, we're getting off track. And so I focused on a black stallion, similar to the one that I would see at our neighbor's house. After about 10 minutes, I opened my eyes, and there it was! "Amazing." I said, a little awestruck. I approached the horse slowly, making sure it could see me the whole time. "Hey, I promise I'm not gonna hurt you. I just need a ride, okay?" the horse snorted and nodded its head, like it could understand me. I tried, and failed, to mount the horse. I fell off and face-planted into the stupid, white ground. "Ow." I said, my voice muffled due to the mouthful of dirt in my mouth. After several failures, quite painful failures, I finally mounted the damn horse. "And we're off." I said, a little ruefully, glaring halfheartedly at the horse. It just snorted and shook its head again. I gently shoot the reins, and we set off at a steady gallop.

I let out a deep sigh. "Finally here. Wherever here is." I said, looking at the gateway with confusion. Or more accurately, what lay beyond the gate/portal thing. 'This is gonna take some getting used to' I said with a slight grimace. I looked back at my horse, Umbra. "This is gonna be interesting, isn't it?" I had developed a habit of talking to the horse like it was intelligent. I guess in a way it was. It always snorted or shook its head when I asked it questions. Shaking my head, I gently tugged on the reins to guide my horse on foot, stroking the smooth stone gateway. 'I guess this is it', I said mentally,' I'm gonna miss you, white everything.' I took a tentative step forward, unsure. My horse nudged me forward with her head. "Yeah, yeah. I'm going." I snap back at the horse. I took a deep breath, and stepped through.
