Life Goes On...

[King Axorn]

Axorn woke up, sucking a huge gasp of air into his lungs before focusing his eyesight and realizing where he was. I'm back here? Well... At least I'm not dead for good. Axorn slowly got up, still trying to shake the dark feeling of death that was still sending a shiver down his spine. He finally got to his feet, walked over to the fountain, which had tranformed into a small simple basin of water, much to Axorn's surprise, and sat down on it's edge. Axorn searched his pockets and found the Mobile Dataverse Device right where he left it. Time to get some more information about this place, he thought, turning the device on and causing it's screen to blink to life. He quickly mastered the interface and spent his time surfing the Dataverse learning about each verse and it's current events. After a few hours of surfing, Axorn realized he could just re-create his communicator from his home world and insert whatever device connected the Mobile Dataverse Device to the Dataverse. He closed his eyes, focusing on the minor details of the watch-like communicator before it materialised a few minutes later. He then turned off the Mobile Dataverse Device and wedged it open with his claws. He then expertly located and removed the Dataverse chip, inserted it into a slot in his communicator, allowing it to connect to the Dataverse, and fastened it to his wrist. He turned it on and pressed a button, causing it to project a holo-screen in front of him with it's familiar user interface. Perfect, he thought, this will be much faster. He began searching the headlines of the Dataverse and found that there was going to be a tournament held in Camelot. Axorn decided it would be a great idea to head there and network with others in order to build up a group of people he could count on in this world. He got up, summoned a chestnut colored steed, after fifteen minutes of concentration, no less, and rushed off towards the camelot portal, slipping through it and having that familiar sensation associated with portal travel.
