Before Stuart was even able to speak or even fully understand the situation, he had woken up in a void greeted by a strange man, who described strange, unbelievable, fantastical things that he didn't quite understand while the words were still burnt in his brain, as bright as the white expanse he was then taken to. A strange fountain stood in the middle of the space bustling with people and strange creatures, some of which he'd even seen before. His mouth agape, Stu swore that he must be dreaming, right? Still, he figured that he'd ask some random passer-by for at least some measly scrap of information about this weird, distorted reality he'd been taken too.
"Hey, can ya help a body at all?"
Nobody seemed too interested in Stu, so he started to walk away from the Fountain, stepping carefully in case he stood on something that wasn't there and fell through. As he did, a thought that made him go deathly pale clawed its way into Stu's mind and grabbed hold of his brain. Christine. If this was reality, he would never see his girlfriend, or any of his friends for that matter, again. Trying to console himself by hoping that in this insane 'reality' there'd be some way to leave, Stu sat down with his head in his hands. That is, until he heard a voice seemingly talking to him. He was unsure what the voice said exactly, or even whose voice it was, so Stu gazed up with wet red eyes.
"(sniff) S-sorry?"
